⁸ ¶ Thine hands have formed me and fashioned me together round about; yet thou dost destroy me.

¹³ ¶ Listen to me, and I will speak, and afterward let come on me what will.

⁵ If indeed ye will magnify yourselves against me and reprove me of my reproach,

⁵ If thou canst answer me, set thy words in order before me, stand up. ⁶ Behold, I am according to thy wish in God’s stead; I also am formed out of the clay. ⁷ Behold, my terror shall not make thee afraid, neither shall my hand be heavy upon thee.

³² If thou hast anything to say, answer me; speak, for I desire to justify thee.

⁷ For the Lord GOD will help me; therefore, I was not ashamed; therefore, I have set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed. ⁸ He is near that justifies me; who will contend with me? let us stand together; who is my adversary? let him come near to me.

⁹ And I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name. But he was in my heart as a burning fire and within my bones; I tried to forbear, and I could not.

³³ Who shall accuse the chosen of God’s? God is he that justifies them.
