²⁵ Therefore, sirs, be of good cheer; for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.

¹⁹ God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent; he said and shall he not do it? He spoke and shall he not execute it?

²⁰ ¶ And when they arose early in the morning and while they were going forth into the wilderness of Tekoa, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe the LORD your God, and ye shall be secure; believe his prophets, and ye shall be prospered.

⁴⁵ And blessed is she that believed, for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.

¹¹ Nevertheless the centurion believed the master and the owner of the ship more than those things which were spoken by Paul.

²¹ ¶ Then after long abstinence, Paul stood forth in the midst of them and said, Sirs, ye should have hearkened unto me and not have loosed from Crete to have avoided this harm and loss. ²² And now I exhort you to be of good cheer, for there shall be no loss of any person’s life among you, but only of the ship.

³⁶ Then they were all of good cheer, and they also took some food.

²⁰ he doubted not the promise of God, with unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, ²¹ being fully persuaded that he was also powerful to do all that he had promised;

¹² For which cause I also suffer these things; nevertheless, I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.
