John Cross References - EJ2000

1 ¶ In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with the God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with the God. 3 All things were made by him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 ¶ And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness apprehended it not. 6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. 8 He was not the Light, but was sent to bear witness of the Light. 9 That Word was the true Light, which lightens every man that comes into this world. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. 11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not. 12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become sons of God, even to them that believe on his name, 13 who are not born of blood, nor of the will of flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. 14 And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father), full of grace and truth. 15 ¶ John bore witness of him and cried, saying, This is he of whom I spoke, He that comes after me is preferred before me, for he was before me. 16 And of his fullness we have all received, and grace for grace. 17 For the law was given through Moses, but the grace and the truth of God came through Jesus, the Christ. 18 No man has seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he has declared him. 19 ¶ And this is the testimony of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, Who art thou? 20 And he confessed and denied not, but confessed, I am not the Christ. 21 And they asked him, What then? Art thou Elijah? And he said, I am not. Art thou the prophet? And he answered, No. 22 Then said they unto him, Who art thou? that we may give an answer to those that sent us. What sayest thou of thyself? 23 He said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Isaiah. 24 And those who were sent were of the Pharisees. 25 And they asked him and said unto him, Why dost thou baptize then if thou art not the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the prophet? 26 John answered them, saying, I baptize with water, but there stands one among you, whom ye know not; 27 he it is, who coming after me is preferred before me, whose shoe’s latchet I am not worthy to unloose. 28 These things were done in Bethabara beyond Jordan, where John was baptizing. 29 ¶ The next day John saw Jesus coming unto him and said, Behold the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world. 30 This is he of whom I said, After me comes a man who is preferred before me, for he was before me. 31 And I knew him not; but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water. 32 And John gave testimony, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him. 33 And I knew him not; but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending and abiding on him, the same is he who baptizes with the Holy Spirit. 34 And I have seen and have given testimony that this is the Son of God. 35 And again the next day John stood, and two of his disciples, 36 and looking upon Jesus as he walked, he said, Behold the Lamb of God! 37 ¶ And the two disciples heard him speak and followed Jesus. 38 Then Jesus turned and saw them following and said unto them, What seek ye? They said unto him, Rabbi (which is to say, being interpreted, Master), where dwellest thou? 39 He said unto them, Come and see. They came and saw where he dwelt and abode with him that day, for it was about the tenth hour. 40 One of the two who heard John speak and followed him was Andrew, brother of Simon Peter. 41 He first found his own brother Simon and said unto him, We have found the Messias, which is, being interpreted, the Christ. 42 And he brought him to Jesus. And when Jesus beheld him, he said, Thou art Simon the son of Jonah: thou shalt be called Cephas, which is by interpretation, A stone. 43 ¶ The day following Jesus desired to go forth into Galilee and found Philip and said unto him, Follow me. 44 Now Philip was of Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter. 45 Philip found Nathanael and said unto him, We have found him of whom Moses in the law and the prophets wrote: Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph. 46 And Nathanael said unto him, Can any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip said unto him, Come and see. 47 Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him and said of him, Behold a true Israelite, in whom is no guile! 48 Nathanael said unto him, From where dost thou know me? Jesus answered and said unto him, Before Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee. 49 Nathanael answered and said unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel. 50 Jesus answered and said unto him, Because I said unto thee, I saw thee under the fig tree, believest thou? thou shalt see greater things than these. 51 And he said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see the heaven open and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.

3 Speak unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month let each man take a lamb according to the families of the fathers, a lamb per family; 4 and if the household is too small and is not able to eat the lamb, let him and his neighbour next unto his house take it according to the number of persons; each one according to his eating shall make your count for the lamb. 5 The lamb shall be without blemish, a male of one year; ye shall take it out from the sheep or from the goats; 6 and ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month, and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it between the two evenings. 7 And they shall take of the blood and put it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses in which they shall eat it. 8 And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roasted with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it. 9 Eat none of it raw, nor boiled at all with water, but roast with fire, his head with his legs, and with the entrails thereof. 10 And ye shall let nothing of it remain until the morning; and that which remains of it until the morning ye shall burn with fire. 11 And thus shall ye eat it: with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it is the LORD’s passover. 12 For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both among man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgments: I am the LORD. 13 And this blood shall be to you for a sign upon the houses where ye are; and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.

And where are all his miracles which our fathers told us of, saying, Did not the LORD bring us up from Egypt? But now the LORD has forsaken us and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites. 14 And the LORD looked upon him and said, Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites. Do I not send thee? 15 Then he replied unto him, Oh my Lord, with what shall I save Israel? Behold, my family is poor in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father’s house. 16 And the LORD said unto him, Surely I will be with thee, and thou shalt smite the Midianites as one man. 17 And he said unto him, If now I have found grace in thy sight, then show me a sign that thou hast spoken with me. 18 Do not depart from here, I pray thee, until I come unto thee and bring forth my present and set it before thee. And he said, I will tarry until thou come again. 19 And Gideon went in and made ready a kid and unleavened cakes of an ephah of flour; the flesh he put in a basket, and he put the broth in a pot and brought it out unto him under the oak and presented it. 20 And the angel of God said unto him, Take the flesh and the unleavened cakes and lay them upon this rock and pour out the broth. And he did so. 21 Then the angel of the LORD put forth the end of the staff that was in his hand and touched the flesh and the unleavened cakes; and there rose up fire out of the rock and consumed the flesh and the unleavened cakes. Then the angel of the LORD departed out of his sight. 22 And when Gideon perceived that he was the angel of the LORD, Gideon said, Alas, O Lord GOD! for I have seen the angel of the LORD face to face. 23 And the LORD said unto him, Peace be unto thee; do not fear, thou shalt not die. 24 Then Gideon built an altar there unto the LORD and called it The LORD is the Peace, {YHWH-shalom}, unto this day it is yet in Ophrah of the Abiezrites. 25 ¶ And it came to pass the same night that the LORD said unto him, Take a bullock of thy father’s house and a second bullock seven years old and throw down the altar of Baal that thy father has and cut down the grove that is by it 26 and build an altar unto the LORD thy God upon the top of this rock, according to due order, and take the second bullock and offer a burnt sacrifice upon the wood of the grove which thou shall have cut down.

Then Manoah knew that he was the angel of the LORD. 22 And Manoah said unto his wife, We shall surely die because we have seen God. 23 But his wife said unto him, If the LORD had desired to kill us, he would not have received a burnt offering and the present from our hands, neither would he have showed us all these things, nor would he have announced this according to the time.

John 1:2-2

2 The same was in the beginning with the God.

John 1:4

4 In him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 ¶ And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness apprehended it not.

John 1:7

7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.

John 1:7-8

7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. 8 He was not the Light, but was sent to bear witness of the Light.

John 1:8-8

8 He was not the Light, but was sent to bear witness of the Light. 9 That Word was the true Light, which lightens every man that comes into this world.

John 1:9

9 That Word was the true Light, which lightens every man that comes into this world. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.

John 1:10-11

10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. 11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not. 12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become sons of God, even to them that believe on his name,

John 1:14

14 And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father), full of grace and truth. 15 ¶ John bore witness of him and cried, saying, This is he of whom I spoke, He that comes after me is preferred before me, for he was before me. 16 And of his fullness we have all received, and grace for grace. 17 For the law was given through Moses, but the grace and the truth of God came through Jesus, the Christ. 18 No man has seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he has declared him.

John 1:18-18

18 No man has seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he has declared him. 19 ¶ And this is the testimony of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, Who art thou? 20 And he confessed and denied not, but confessed, I am not the Christ.

John 1:20-22

20 And he confessed and denied not, but confessed, I am not the Christ. 21 And they asked him, What then? Art thou Elijah? And he said, I am not. Art thou the prophet? And he answered, No. 22 Then said they unto him, Who art thou? that we may give an answer to those that sent us. What sayest thou of thyself?

John 1:25

25 And they asked him and said unto him, Why dost thou baptize then if thou art not the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the prophet? 26 John answered them, saying, I baptize with water, but there stands one among you, whom ye know not; 27 he it is, who coming after me is preferred before me, whose shoe’s latchet I am not worthy to unloose.

John 1:27

27 he it is, who coming after me is preferred before me, whose shoe’s latchet I am not worthy to unloose. 28 These things were done in Bethabara beyond Jordan, where John was baptizing. 29 ¶ The next day John saw Jesus coming unto him and said, Behold the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world.

John 1:29

29 ¶ The next day John saw Jesus coming unto him and said, Behold the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world. 30 This is he of whom I said, After me comes a man who is preferred before me, for he was before me.

John 1:30

30 This is he of whom I said, After me comes a man who is preferred before me, for he was before me. 31 And I knew him not; but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water.

John 1:31

31 And I knew him not; but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water. 32 And John gave testimony, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him. 33 And I knew him not; but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending and abiding on him, the same is he who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.

John 1:33-34

33 And I knew him not; but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending and abiding on him, the same is he who baptizes with the Holy Spirit. 34 And I have seen and have given testimony that this is the Son of God.

John 1:34

34 And I have seen and have given testimony that this is the Son of God. 35 And again the next day John stood, and two of his disciples, 36 and looking upon Jesus as he walked, he said, Behold the Lamb of God!

John 1:36-37

36 and looking upon Jesus as he walked, he said, Behold the Lamb of God! 37 ¶ And the two disciples heard him speak and followed Jesus. 38 Then Jesus turned and saw them following and said unto them, What seek ye? They said unto him, Rabbi (which is to say, being interpreted, Master), where dwellest thou?

John 1:40-42

40 One of the two who heard John speak and followed him was Andrew, brother of Simon Peter. 41 He first found his own brother Simon and said unto him, We have found the Messias, which is, being interpreted, the Christ. 42 And he brought him to Jesus. And when Jesus beheld him, he said, Thou art Simon the son of Jonah: thou shalt be called Cephas, which is by interpretation, A stone. 43 ¶ The day following Jesus desired to go forth into Galilee and found Philip and said unto him, Follow me.

John 1:45

45 Philip found Nathanael and said unto him, We have found him of whom Moses in the law and the prophets wrote: Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph. 46 And Nathanael said unto him, Can any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip said unto him, Come and see.

John 1:46-48

46 And Nathanael said unto him, Can any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip said unto him, Come and see. 47 Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him and said of him, Behold a true Israelite, in whom is no guile! 48 Nathanael said unto him, From where dost thou know me? Jesus answered and said unto him, Before Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee. 49 Nathanael answered and said unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel.

John 2:11

11 This beginning of the signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee and manifested forth his glory, and his disciples believed on him.

John 2:18

18 Then the Jews answered and said unto him, What sign showest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things?

John 2:23

23 ¶ Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast day, many believed in his name, seeing the signs which he did. 24 But Jesus did not trust himself unto them because he knew all men 25 and needed not that any man should give testimony, for he knew what was in man.

John 2:25

25 and needed not that any man should give testimony, for he knew what was in man.

John 3:1-2

1 ¶ There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a prince of the Jews; 2 the same came to Jesus by night and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God, for no one can do these signs that thou doest unless God is with him.

John 3:2

2 the same came to Jesus by night and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God, for no one can do these signs that thou doest unless God is with him. 3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a person be born again from above, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

John 3:5-8

5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Unless a man is born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

John 3:5

5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Unless a man is born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again from above. 8 The wind blows where it desires, and thou hearest the sound of it, but canst not tell from where it comes or where it goes; so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

John 3:13-14

13 And no one has ascended up to the heaven but he that came down from the heaven, even the Son of man, who is in the heaven. 14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up,

John 3:16

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

John 3:16-18

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believes on him is not condemned, but he that does not believe is condemned already because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

John 3:18-18

18 He that believes on him is not condemned, but he that does not believe is condemned already because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that the light is come into the world, and men loved darkness more than the light because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that does evil hates the light, and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

John 3:23

23 And John also was baptizing in Aenon near to Salim because there was much water there, and they came and were baptized.

John 3:25-26

25 Then there arose a question between the disciples of John and the Jews about purifying. 26 And they came unto John and said unto him, Rabbi, he that was with thee beyond Jordan of whom thou gave witness, behold, the same baptizes, and all men come to him.

John 3:26

26 And they came unto John and said unto him, Rabbi, he that was with thee beyond Jordan of whom thou gave witness, behold, the same baptizes, and all men come to him.

John 3:26-26

26 And they came unto John and said unto him, Rabbi, he that was with thee beyond Jordan of whom thou gave witness, behold, the same baptizes, and all men come to him. 27 John answered and said, A man can receive nothing except it is given him from the heaven. 28 Ye yourselves are my witnesses that I said, I am not the Christ, but that I am sent before him.

John 3:28-36

28 Ye yourselves are my witnesses that I said, I am not the Christ, but that I am sent before him. 29 He that has the bride is the bridegroom, but the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom’s voice; this my joy therefore is fulfilled. 30 It is expedient unto him to increase, but unto me, to decrease. 31 He that comes from above is above all; he that is of the earth is earthly and speaks earthly things: he that comes from heaven is above all. 32 And what he has seen and heard, that he testifies; and no one receives his testimony.

John 3:32

32 And what he has seen and heard, that he testifies; and no one receives his testimony. 33 He that has received his testimony has set to his seal that God is true. 34 For he whom God has sent speaks the words of God; for God does not give the Spirit by measure unto him.

John 3:34

34 For he whom God has sent speaks the words of God; for God does not give the Spirit by measure unto him. 35 The Father loves the Son and has given all things into his hand. 36 He that believes in the Son has eternal life, and he that does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.

John 4:25

25 The woman said unto him, I know that the Messiah is to come, who is called the Christ; when he is come, he will declare unto us all things.

John 4:28-29

28 The woman then left her waterpot and went into the city and said to those men, 29 Come, see a man who told me all that I have done; is perchance this the Christ?

John 4:29

29 Come, see a man who told me all that I have done; is perchance this the Christ?

John 4:39-42

39 And many of the Samaritans of that city believed in him by the word of the woman, who testified, He told me all that I have done. 40 So when the Samaritans were come unto him, they asked him to abide with them; and he abode there two days.

John 4:40

40 So when the Samaritans were come unto him, they asked him to abide with them; and he abode there two days. 41 And many more believed by his own word 42 and said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy speech; for we have heard him ourselves and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.

John 5:10

10 The Jews therefore said unto him that was cured, It is the sabbath day; it is not lawful for thee to carry thy bed.

John 5:17-19

17 ¶ But Jesus answered them, My Father works until now, and I work.

John 5:17

17 ¶ But Jesus answered them, My Father works until now, and I work. 18 Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath but also called God his own Father, making himself equal with God. 19 Then Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself but what he sees the Father do; for all that he does, this also the Son does together with him.

John 5:19

19 Then Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself but what he sees the Father do; for all that he does, this also the Son does together with him.

John 5:21

21 For as the Father raises up the dead and gives them life; even so the Son gives life unto whom he will.

John 5:23-27

23 that everyone should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that does not honour the Son does not honour the Father who has sent him. 24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that hears my word and believes him that sent me has eternal life and shall not come into judgment but has passed from death unto life.

John 5:24-25

24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that hears my word and believes him that sent me has eternal life and shall not come into judgment but has passed from death unto life. 25 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour shall come, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God, and they that hear shall live.

John 5:25-25

25 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour shall come, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God, and they that hear shall live. 26 For as the Father has life in himself, so has he given to the Son to have life in himself

John 5:26-27

26 For as the Father has life in himself, so has he given to the Son to have life in himself 27 and has also given him power and authority to execute judgment because he is the Son of man.

John 5:27

27 and has also given him power and authority to execute judgment because he is the Son of man.

John 5:32

32 There is another that bears witness of me, and I know that the witness which he witnesses of me is true. 33 Ye sent unto John, and he bore witness unto the truth.

John 5:33-36

33 Ye sent unto John, and he bore witness unto the truth. 34 But I receive not testimony from man, but I say these things that ye might be saved.

John 5:34-36

34 But I receive not testimony from man, but I say these things that ye might be saved. 35 He was a burning and a shining light, and ye were willing to rejoice for one hour in his light.

John 5:35-36

35 He was a burning and a shining light, and ye were willing to rejoice for one hour in his light. 36 But I have greater testimony than that of John; for the works which the Father has given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me that the Father has sent me.

John 5:45

45 Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father; there is one that accuses you, even Moses, in whom ye trust.

John 5:45-46

45 Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father; there is one that accuses you, even Moses, in whom ye trust. 46 For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me, for he wrote of me.

John 6:5

5 Then Jesus lifted up his eyes and saw a great company come unto him; he said unto Philip, From where shall we buy bread that these may eat?

John 6:7

7 Philip answered him, Two hundred denarius of bread is not sufficient for them, that each one of them may take a little. 8 One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, said unto him,

John 6:25

25 And when they had found him on the other side of the sea, they said unto him, Rabbi, when didst thou come here? 26 Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye have seen the signs, but because ye ate of the loaves and were filled.

John 6:32

32 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from the heaven, but my Father gives you the true bread from the heaven.

John 6:37

37 All that the Father gives me shall come to me, and he that comes to me I will in no wise cast out.

John 6:41

41 The Jews then murmured of him because he said, I AM the bread which descended from the heaven. 42 And they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How is it then that he says, I descended from heaven?

John 6:46

46 Not that anyone has seen the Father, except he who is of God, he has seen the Father. 47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believes in me has eternal life.

John 6:51

51 I AM the living bread which came down from heaven; if anyone eats of this bread, they shall live for ever; and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. 52 The Jews therefore contended among themselves, saying, How is he able to give us his flesh to eat? 53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Unless ye eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, ye shall have no life in you.

John 6:69

69 And we believe and know that thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. 70 Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil? 71 He spoke of Judas Iscariot the son of Simon, for it was he that should betray him, being one of the twelve.

John 7:12

12 And there was much murmuring among the people concerning him, for some said, He is a good man; others said, No, but he deceives the people.

John 7:19

19 Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keeps the law? Why do ye go about to kill me?

John 7:40

40 Then many of the people, when they heard this word, said, Truly this is the Prophet. 41 Others said, This is the Christ. But some said, Shall the Christ come out of Galilee? 42 Has not the scripture said, That the Christ comes of the seed of David and out of the town of Bethlehem where David was?

John 7:47-49

47 Then the Pharisees answered them, Are ye also deceived? 48 Have any of the princes or of the Pharisees believed on him? 49 But this people who do not know the law are cursed.

John 7:52

52 They answered and said unto him, Art thou also of Galilee? Search and see, for a prophet has never arisen out of Galilee.

John 8:12

12 ¶ Then Jesus spoke again unto them, saying, I AM the light of the world; he that follows me shall not walk in darkness but shall have the light of life.

John 8:19

19 Then they said unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father; if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also.

John 8:31

31 ¶ Then Jesus said to those Jews who had believed him, If ye abide in my word, ye shall be my disciples indeed; 32 and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free. 33 They answered him, We are Abraham’s seed, and we have never served anyone; how sayest thou, Ye shall be set free? 34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever commits sin is the slave of sin.

John 8:34

34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever commits sin is the slave of sin. 35 And the slave does not abide in the house for ever, but the Son abides for ever. 36 If the Son therefore shall set you free, ye shall be free indeed. 37 I know that ye are Abraham’s seed, but ye seek to kill me because my word has no place in you. 38 ¶ I speak that which I have seen with my Father, and ye do that which ye have seen with your father. 39 They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus said unto them, If ye were Abraham’s sons, ye would do the works of Abraham.

John 8:39

39 They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus said unto them, If ye were Abraham’s sons, ye would do the works of Abraham. 40 But now ye seek to kill me, a man that has told you the truth, which I have heard of God; Abraham did not do this. 41 Ye do the deeds of your father. Then they said to him, We are not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God.

John 8:51

51 ¶ Verily, verily, I say unto you, If anyone keeps my word, he shall not see death forever.

58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I AM.

John 9:29

29 We know that God spoke unto Moses; as for this fellow, we do not know where he is from.

John 10:1

1 ¶ Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that enters not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.

John 10:7

7 Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I AM the door of the sheep.

John 10:24

24 Then the Jews came round about him and said unto him, Until when wilt thou hold our soul in suspense? If thou art the Christ, tell us plainly.

John 10:30-33

30 I and my Father are one.

John 10:30

30 I and my Father are one. 31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him. 32 Jesus answered them, Many good works have I showed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me? 33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we do not stone thee, but for blasphemy; and because thou, being a man, makest thyself God.

John 10:36

36 do ye say of him whom the Father has sanctified and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest, because I said, I am the Son of God?

John 10:40

40 and went away again beyond Jordan into the place where John at first baptized, and there he abode.

John 11:25

25 Jesus said unto her, I AM the resurrection and the life; he that believes in me, though he is dead, yet shall he live;

John 11:27

27 She said unto him, Yes, Lord, I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, who should come into the world.

John 11:40

40 Jesus said unto her, Did I not say unto thee that if thou wouldest believe thou shalt see the glory of God?

John 12:13-15

13 took branches of palm trees and went forth to meet him and cried, Hosanna; Blessed is he that comes in the name of the Lord, the King of Israel. 14 And Jesus, when he had found a young ass, sat upon it, as it is written, 15 Fear not, daughter of Sion; behold, thy King comes, sitting on an ass’s colt.

John 12:21

21 the same came therefore to Philip, who was of Bethsaida of Galilee, and asked him, saying, Lord, we desire to see Jesus.

John 12:23-24

23 And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour comes in which the Son of man shall be clarified. 24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except the grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it abides alone; but if it dies, it brings forth much fruit.

John 12:35

35 Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the Light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you; for he that walks in darkness does not know where he goes. 36 While ye have the Light, believe in the Light that ye may be the sons of light. Jesus spoke these things and departed and hid himself from them. 37 ¶ But although he had done so many signs before them, yet they did not believe in him, 38 that the word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spoke, Lord, who shall believe our report? and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? 39 Therefore they could not believe, because Isaiah said again, 40 He has blinded their eyes and hardened their heart, that they should not see with their eyes nor understand with their heart and be converted, and I should heal them.

John 12:40-41

40 He has blinded their eyes and hardened their heart, that they should not see with their eyes nor understand with their heart and be converted, and I should heal them. 41 Isaiah said these things when he saw his glory and spoke of him.

John 12:41

41 Isaiah said these things when he saw his glory and spoke of him.

John 12:46

46 I am come as a light into the world that whosoever believes in me should not abide in darkness.

John 13:16

16 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The slave is not greater than his lord; neither is the apostle greater than he that sent him.

18 ¶ I speak not of you all; I know whom I have chosen; but that the scripture may be fulfilled, He that eats bread with me has lifted up his heel against me,

John 13:20-21

20 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receives whomsoever I send receives me, and he that receives me receives him that sent me. 21 When Jesus had thus said, he was troubled in spirit and testified and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me.

John 13:23

23 And one of his disciples, whom Jesus loved, was seated at the table beside Jesus.

John 14:8

8 Philip said unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it will suffice us.

John 14:8-9

8 Philip said unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it will suffice us. 9 Jesus said unto him, Have I been such a long time with you, and yet thou hast not known me, Philip? He that has seen me has seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?

John 14:9-9

9 Jesus said unto him, Have I been such a long time with you, and yet thou hast not known me, Philip? He that has seen me has seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?

John 14:12

12 ¶ Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believes in me, the works that I do he shall do also; and greater works than these shall he do because I go unto my Father.

John 14:22-23

22 Judas, not Iscariot, said unto him, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us and not unto the world?strong> 23 Jesus answered and said unto him, He who loves me will keep my words, and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him and dwell with him.

John 15:1

1 ¶ I AM the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.

John 15:1-5

1 ¶ I AM the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. 2 Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he shall take away; and every one that bears fruit, he shall purge that they may bring forth more fruit. 3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. 4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abides in the vine, no more can ye, except ye abide in me. 5 I AM the vine, ye are the branches: he that abides in me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit; for without me ye can do nothing.

John 16:3

3 And they will do these things unto you because they do not know the Father, nor me.

28 For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, neither is circumcision that which is done outwardly in the flesh; 29 but he is a Jew who is one inwardly, and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit and not in the letter, whose praise is not of men, but of God.

Romans 3:19-26

19 ¶ Now we know that all that the law says, it says to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may submit themselves unto God. 20 For by the deeds of the law, no flesh shall be justified in his sight; for by the law is the knowledge of sin. 21 But now, without the law, the righteousness of God has been manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets: 22 the righteousness, that is, of God by the faith of Jesus, the Christ, for all and upon all those that believe in him, for there is no difference; 23 for all have sinned and are made destitute of the glory of God, 24 being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Jesus, the Christ, 25 whom God purposed for reconciliation through faith in his blood for the manifestation of his righteousness, for the remission of sins that are past, by the patience of God, 26 manifesting in this time his righteousness that he only be the just one and the justifier of him that is of the faith of Jesus.

Romans 5:20-21

1 ¶ I say the truth in Christ, I do not lie, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Spirit,

Romans 9:1-5

1 ¶ I say the truth in Christ, I do not lie, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Spirit, 2 that I have great sorrow and continual pain in my heart. 3 For I could wish that myself were anathema from Christ for my brethren, those who are my kinsmen according to the flesh, 4 who are Israelites, to whom pertains the adoption as sons and the glory and the covenants and the giving of the law and the service of God and the promises,

Romans 9:4

4 who are Israelites, to whom pertains the adoption as sons and the glory and the covenants and the giving of the law and the service of God and the promises, 5 whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh is the Christ, who is God over all things, blessed for all the ages. Amen.

Romans 9:5-5

5 whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh is the Christ, who is God over all things, blessed for all the ages. Amen. 6 ¶ Not as though the word of God has been deficient. For not all the descendants of Israel are Israelites; 7 neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are all sons, but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called. 8 That is, Those who are sons of the flesh, these are not the sons of God; but those who are sons of the promise are counted in the generation. 9 For the word of the promise is this, At this time I will come, and Sara shall have a son. 10 And not only this, but when Rebecca also had conceived by one, even by our father Isaac 11 (for the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand: not of works, but of him that calls), 12 it was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger. 13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated. 14 ¶ What shall we say then? Is there injustice in God? No, in no wise. 15 For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. 16 So then it is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that has mercy.

Romans 10:1-3

1 ¶ Brethren, certainly the desire of my heart and my prayer to God regarding Israel, is for saving health. 2 For I give testimony that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. 3 For they, being ignorant of God’s righteousness and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

Romans 10:17

17 So then faith comes by hearing, and the ear to hear by the word of God.

Romans 15:8

8 Now I say that Christ Jesus, was a minister of the circumcision, by the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers;

Romans 15:8-12

8 Now I say that Christ Jesus, was a minister of the circumcision, by the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers; 9 but that the Gentiles glorify God by mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will confess thee among the Gentiles and sing unto thy name. 10 And again he says, Rejoice, ye Gentiles, with his people. 11 And again, Praise the Lord, all ye Gentiles; and magnify him, all the peoples. 12 And again, Isaiah says, There shall be a root of Jesse and he that shall rise to reign over the Gentiles; in him the Gentiles shall wait for salvation.

2 Corinthians 3:7-10

7 But if the ministry of death in the letter engraved in stones was glorious, so that the sons of Israel could not steadfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance which glory was to fade away, 8 How shall not the ministry of the Spirit be for greater glory? 9 For if the ministry of condemnation had glory, much more shall the ministry of righteousness abound in glory. 10 For even that which was so glorious had no glory in this respect, in comparison with the glory that excels.

2 Corinthians 4:4-6

4 In whom the god of this age has blinded the understanding of those who do not believe, that the light of the gospel of the glory of the Christ, who is the image of God, should not shine in them. 5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and ourselves your slaves for Jesus’ sake. 6 For the God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, has shined in our hearts to bring forth the light of the knowledge of the clarity of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

15 who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature; 16 for by him were all things created, that are in the heavens and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they are thrones or dominions or principalities or powers: all things were created by him and in him; 17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

1 Timothy 1:14-16

14 And the grace of our Lord was exceedingly abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. 15 This is a faithful saying and worthy of acceptation by all, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am first. 16 But for this cause I was received unto mercy that in me first, Jesus Christ might show forth all clemency, for an example to those who should hereafter believe in him for eternal life. 17 Therefore unto the King forever, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

2 has in these last times spoken unto us by his Son, whom he has appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the ages; 3 who being the brightness of his glory and the express image of his substance and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

Hebrews 1:3

3 who being the brightness of his glory and the express image of his substance and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

Hebrews 1:5-6

5 For unto which of the angels did he say at any time, Thou art my Son, this day I have begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son? 6 And again, when he brought in the firstbegotten into the world, he said, And let all the angels of God worship him.

Hebrews 1:9-9

9 Thou hast loved righteousness and hated iniquity; therefore, God, even thy God, has anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. 10 And Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:

Hebrews 1:12-12

12 and as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed; but thou art the same, and thy years shall never fail. 13 But to which of the angels did he say at any time, Sit on my right hand until I make thine enemies thy footstool? 14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth in service for the love of those who are the heirs of saving health?

Hebrews 2:11

11 For both he that sanctifies and those who are sanctified are all of one, for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,

Hebrews 2:14-17

14 ¶ Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same, that through death he might destroy him that had the empire of death, that is, the devil, 15 and deliver those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to slavery. 16 For verily he did not take the angels, but he took the seed of Abraham. 17 Therefore in all things he should be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make atonement for the sins of the people.

Hebrews 3:3-4

3 For this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who has built the house has more honour than the house. 4 For every house is built by someone, but he that created all things is God. 5 And Moses verily was faithful over all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after, 6 but Christ as a son over his own house, which house we are, if we hold fast the confidence and the glorious hope firmly until the end.

Hebrews 5:5

5 So also the Christ did not glorify himself to make himself high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son; today have I begotten thee.

Hebrews 10:5-10

5 Therefore when he came into the world, he said, Sacrifice and offering thou dost not desire, but a body hast thou prepared me; 6 in burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure. 7 ¶ Then said I, Behold, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me) to do thy will, O God. 8 Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou dost not desire, neither hadst pleasure therein, which are offered by the law; 9 then he said, Behold, I come to do thy will, O God. He took away the first, that he may establish the second. 10 In this will, we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus, the Christ, once for all.

2 chosen (according to the foreknowledge of God the Father) in sanctification of the Spirit, to obey and be sprinkled with the blood of Jesus, the Christ, Grace and peace, be multiplied unto you. 3 ¶ Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus, the Christ, who according to his great mercy has begotten us again unto a living hope by the resurrection of Jesus, the Christ, from the dead,

11 searching when and in what point of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, which announced beforehand the afflictions that were to come upon the Christ, and the glory that should follow them.

1 Peter 1:19

19 but with the precious blood of the Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without contamination,

1 Peter 1:19-20

19 but with the precious blood of the Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without contamination, 20 already ordained from before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for love of you,

1 Peter 1:23

23 being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which lives and abides for ever.

1 Peter 2:1

1 ¶ Having therefore left all malice and all guile and hypocrisies and envies and all murmurings, 2 as newborn babes, desire the rational milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby in health;

1 Peter 2:4-7

4 ¶ coming unto whom (is the living Stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious), 5 ye also, as living stones, are built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, well pleasing to God by Jesus, the Christ. 6 Therefore, also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion the chief corner stone, chosen, precious; and he that believes on him shall not be confounded. 7 Unto you, therefore, who believe he is precious; but unto those who are disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,

1 Peter 2:22

22 who did no sin neither was guile found in his mouth,

1 Peter 2:24

24 he himself bore our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness; by whose wound ye were healed.

4 whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises, that by these ye might be made participants of the divine nature, having fled the corruption that is in the world through lust.

2 Peter 1:16-17

16 ¶ For we have not made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, following cunningly devised fables, but as eyewitnesses of his majesty. 17 For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

2 Peter 3:9

1 John 1:2

2 (for the life is manifested, and we also saw it and bear witness and show unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father and appeared unto us); 3 that which we have seen and heard we declare unto you, that ye also may have communion with us; and truly our communion is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ.

1 John 1:5-7

5 ¶ This then is the promise which we have heard of him and declare unto you, That God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. 6 If we say that we have fellowship with him and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth; 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have communion with him in the midst of us, and the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son cleanses us from all sin. 8 ¶ If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and there is no truth in us.

1 John 2:2

2 and he is the reconciliation for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

23 ¶ And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he has commanded us.

1 John 4:2-3

1 John 4:7

7 ¶ Beloved, let us love one another, for charity is of God. Anyone that loves is born of God and knows God.

1 John 4:9

9 In this was the charity of God demonstrated in us, in that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. 10 In this does the charity consist, not because we had loved God, but because he loved us and has sent his Son to be the reconciliation for our sins.

1 John 4:12

12 No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and his charity is completed in us.

1 John 5:9-13

9 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he has testified of his Son. 10 ¶ He that believes in the Son of God has the witness of God in himself; he that does not believe God has made God a liar; because he does not believe the witness that God has testified of his Son. 11 And this is the witness, that God has given eternal life to us, and this life is in his Son.

1 John 5:11-13

11 And this is the witness, that God has given eternal life to us, and this life is in his Son. 12 He that has the Son has life; and he that does not have the Son of God does not have life. 13 These things I have written unto you that believe in the name of the Son of God, that ye may know that ye have eternal life and that ye may believe in the name of the Son of God.
