1 Corinthians Cross References - EJ2000

1 ¶ Paul, called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Sosthenes, our brother, 2 unto the congregation {Gr. ekklesia – called out ones} of God which is at Corinth, to those that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be holy, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours: 3 Grace be unto you and peace from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ. 4 I thank my God always on your behalf for the grace of God which is given you in Christ Jesus, 5 that in every thing ye are enriched in him in all word and in all knowledge, 6 with which the testimony of the Christ was confirmed in you, 7 so that ye lack nothing in any gift, waiting for the manifestation of our Lord Jesus Christ, 8 who shall also confirm that ye shall remain unimpeachable unto the end, in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 God is faithful, by whom ye were called into the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord. 10 ¶ Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing and that there be no divisions among you, but that ye be perfect, joined together in the same understanding and in the same perception. 11 For it has been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by those of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you. 12 In other words, that each one of you says, I am of Paul, and I of Apollos, and I of Cephas, and I of Christ. 13 Is the Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized into the name of Paul? 14 ¶ I thank God that I baptized none of you, but Crispus and Gaius, 15 lest any should say that ye were baptized into my name. 16 And I baptized also the household of Stephanas; besides, I know not whether I baptized any other. 17 ¶ For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel, not with wisdom of words, lest the cross {Gr. stauros – stake} of Christ should be made void. 18 For the word of the cross {Gr. stauros – stake} is foolishness to those that perish, but unto us who are saved, it is the power of God. 19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. 20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the philosopher of this world? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? 21 For in the wisdom of God, since the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save those that believe. 22 For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom, 23 but we preach Christ crucified, {Gr. Stauroo – hung on a stake}, unto the Jews a stumblingblock and unto the Gentiles foolishness; 24 but unto those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ is the power of God, and the wisdom of God. 25 For that which is foolish of God is wiser than men, and that which is weak of God is stronger than men. 26 For look upon your vocation, brothers, that ye are not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, 27 but rather God has chosen that which is the foolishness of the world to confound the wise, and God has chosen that which is the weakness of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; 28 and that which is vile of the world and that which is despised God has chosen, and things which are not, to bring to nought the things that are, 29 that no flesh should glory in his presence. 30 But of him ye are reborn in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom and righteousness and sanctification and redemption, 31 that, according as it is written, He that glories, let him glory in the Lord.

Separate thyself, I pray thee, from me; if thou wilt take the left hand, then I will go to the right; or if thou depart to the right hand, then I will go to the left. 10 ¶ And Lot lifted up his eyes and beheld all the plain of the Jordan that it was well watered everywhere, before the LORD destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, even as a garden of the LORD like the land of Egypt as thou comest unto Zoar. 11 Then Lot chose for himself all the plain of the Jordan, and Lot journeyed east; and they separated themselves the one from the other. 12 Abram dwelt in the land of Canaan, and Lot dwelt in the cities of the plain and pitched his tents toward Sodom. 13 But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the LORD exceedingly.

Judges 7:2-8

2 And the LORD said unto Gideon, The people that are with thee are too many for me to give the Midianites into their hand lest Israel vaunt themselves against me, saying, My own hand has saved me. 3 Now, therefore, cause it to be proclaimed in the ears of the people, saying, Whoever is fearful and trembling, let him return and depart early from Mount Gilead. And twenty-two thousand of the people returned, and ten thousand remained. 4 And the LORD said unto Gideon, The people are yet too many; bring them down unto the water, and I will try them for thee there; and it shall be that of whom I say unto thee, This one shall go with thee, the same shall go with thee; and of whoever I say unto thee, This one shall not go with thee, the same shall not go. 5 So he brought the people down unto the water, and the LORD said unto Gideon, Every one that laps of the water with his tongue as a dog laps, him shalt thou set by himself; likewise every one that bows down upon his knees to drink. 6 And the number of those that lapped, putting their hand to their mouth, were three hundred men; but all the rest of the people bowed down upon their knees to drink the water. 7 Then the LORD said unto Gideon, With the three hundred men that lapped I will save you and deliver the Midianites into thy hand; and let all the other people go each one to his place. 8 And having taken provision for the people in his hands with their shofarot; he sent all the other Israelites each one to his tent and retained those three hundred men, and the camp of Midian was beneath him in the valley.

40 ¶ took his staff in his hand and chose five smooth stones out of the brook and put them in a shepherd’s bag which he had, even in a provision bag, and with his sling in his hand he drew near to the Philistine. 41 And the Philistine came on and drew near unto David, and the man that bore the shield went before him. 42 And when the Philistine looked about and saw David, he disdained him, for he was but a youth and ruddy and of a fair countenance. 43 And the Philistine said unto David, Am I a dog that thou comest to me with staves? And the Philistine cursed David by his gods. 44 And the Philistine said to David, Come to me, and I will give thy flesh unto the fowls of the heaven and to the beasts of the field. 45 Then David said to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword and with a spear and with a shield, but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of the hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast dishonoured. 46 This day the LORD will deliver thee into my hand, and I will smite thee and take thy head from thee, and I will give the carcasses of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the heaven and to the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel. 47 And all this congregation shall know that the LORD does not save with sword and spear, for the battle is the LORD’s, and he will give you into our hands. 48 ¶ And it came to pass when the Philistine arose and came and drew near to meet David that David hastened and ran to do battle against the Philistine. 49 And David put his hand in his bag and took a stone from there and slang it and smote the Philistine in his forehead, that the stone remained sunk into his forehead, and he fell upon his face to the earth. 50 So David overcame the Philistine with a sling and with a stone and smote the Philistine and slew him, but there was no sword in the hand of David. 51 Therefore David ran and stood upon the Philistine and took his sword and drew it out of its sheath and slew him and cut off his head with it. And when the Philistines saw their giant was dead, they fled.

But Benhadad was drinking himself drunk in the pavilions, he and the kings, the thirty-two kings that helped him. 17 And the young men of the princes of the provinces went out first. And Benhadad had sent out men who warned him, saying, There are men come out of Samaria. 18 Then he said, If they have come out for peace, take them alive; or if they have come out for war, take them alive. 19 So these young men of the princes of the provinces came out of the city, and the army followed after them. 20 And each one smote the man that came against him; and the Syrians fled; and Israel pursued them. And Benhadad, the king of Syria, escaped on a horse with some of the horsemen. 21 And the king of Israel went out and smote the horsemen and the chariots and smote the Syrians with a great slaughter. 22 ¶ And the prophet came to the king of Israel and said unto him, Go, strengthen thyself, and consider, and see what thou must do, for at the return of the year the king of Syria will come up against thee.

John 4:46-53

46 So Jesus came again into Cana of Galilee, where he had made the water wine. And there was a certain nobleman whose son was sick at Capernaum. 47 When he heard that Jesus was come out of Judaea into Galilee, he went unto him and besought him that he would come down and heal his son, for he was at the point of death. 48 Then Jesus said unto him, Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe. 49 The nobleman said unto him, Sir, come down before my child dies. 50 Jesus said unto him, Go; thy son lives. And the man believed the word that Jesus spoke unto him, and he went. 51 And as he was now going down, his slaves met him and told him, saying, Thy son lives. 52 Then he enquired of them the hour when he began to get better. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that did not believe and who should betray him. 65 And he said, Therefore I said unto you that no one can come unto me unless it is given unto them of my Father. 66 After this, many of his disciples went back and walked no more with him.

As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abides in the vine, no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

John 15:4-6

4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abides in the vine, no more can ye, except ye abide in me. 5 I AM the vine, ye are the branches: he that abides in me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit; for without me ye can do nothing.

28 And we now know that unto those who love God, all things help them unto good, to those who according to the purpose are called to be saints. 29 ¶ For unto those whom he knew beforehand, he also marked out beforehand the way that they might be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 And unto those whom he did mark out beforehand the way, to these he also called; and to whom he called, these he also justified; and to whom he justified, these he also glorified.

Romans 8:30-30

30 And unto those whom he did mark out beforehand the way, to these he also called; and to whom he called, these he also justified; and to whom he justified, these he also glorified.

Romans 9:24

24 Even us, whom he has called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles!

Romans 9:32-33

32 Why? Because they followed it not by faith but, as it were, by the works (of the law); therefore, they stumbled on the stumblingstone; 33 as it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock that will cause some to fall, and whosoever believes in him shall not be ashamed.

Romans 10:12

12 ¶ For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

Romans 11:12

12 And if the fall of them is the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles, how much more shall their fullness be?

Romans 11:17

17 And if some of the branches were broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert grafted in among them and hath been made participant of the root and of the fatness of the olive tree,

Romans 11:33

33 ¶ O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and of the knowledge of God! How incomprehensible are his judgments and his ways past finding out!

Romans 11:33-36

33 ¶ O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and of the knowledge of God! How incomprehensible are his judgments and his ways past finding out! 34 For who has understood the intent of the Lord? or who has been his counsellor? 35 Or who has first given unto him, that it be recompensed unto him again? 36 For of him and by him and in him are all things. To him be the glory for the ages. Amen.

Romans 11:36

36 For of him and by him and in him are all things. To him be the glory for the ages. Amen.

Romans 12:1

1 ¶ Therefore, I beseech you brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies in living sacrifice, holy, well pleasing unto God, which is your rational worship.

Romans 12:5

5 likewise many of us are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.

Romans 12:16

16 Be unanimous among yourselves, not high minded, but accommodating the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion.

Romans 14:4

4 Who art thou that judgest another man’s servant? By his own master he stands or falls; and if he falls, he shall be made to stand, for God is powerful to make him stand.

Romans 14:8-9

8 For if we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord; whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord’s. 9 For to this end Christ both died and rose and revived: to thus exercise lordship over the dead as well as over the living.

Romans 14:9

9 For to this end Christ both died and rose and revived: to thus exercise lordship over the dead as well as over the living.

Romans 15:4

4 For the things that were written beforehand were written for our instruction that we, through patient endurance and through the comfort of the scriptures, might have hope. 5 ¶ Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be unanimous among yourselves according to Christ Jesus, 6 that ye may with one accord and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Romans 15:14

14 ¶ But I am convinced regarding you, my brethren, that even without my exhortation ye are full of charity, full of all knowledge, so as to be able to admonish one another.

Romans 15:17

17 ¶ Therefore I have something to boast of in Christ Jesus, with regard to God.

Romans 15:19

19 with power of signs and wonders, in virtue of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem and round about unto Illyricum, I have filled the entire area with the gospel of the Christ.

Romans 15:30

30 ¶ But I beseech you, brethren, by our Lord Jesus Christ, and by the charity of the Spirit, that ye help me with prayers to God for me,

Romans 16:7

7 Salute Andronicus and Junia, my kinsmen and my fellowprisoners, who are of note among the apostles, who also were in Christ before me.

Romans 16:11

11 Salute Herodion, my kinsman. Greet those that are of the household of Narcissus who are in the Lord.

Romans 16:17

17 ¶ And I beseech you, brethren, mark those who cause dissensions and offences outside of the doctrine which ye have learned, and avoid them.

Romans 16:23

23 Gaius my host, and of the whole congregation {Gr. ekklesia – called out ones}, salutes you. Erastus, the chamberlain of the city, salutes you, and Quartus, a brother.

Romans 16:25

25 ¶ Now to him that is able to confirm you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery which was concealed from times eternal

1 Corinthians 1:2

2 unto the congregation {Gr. ekklesia – called out ones} of God which is at Corinth, to those that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be holy, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours: 3 Grace be unto you and peace from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ. 4 I thank my God always on your behalf for the grace of God which is given you in Christ Jesus,

1 Corinthians 1:9

9 God is faithful, by whom ye were called into the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

1 Corinthians 1:15

15 lest any should say that ye were baptized into my name.

1 Corinthians 1:18

18 For the word of the cross {Gr. stauros – stake} is foolishness to those that perish, but unto us who are saved, it is the power of God. 19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. 20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the philosopher of this world? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? 21 For in the wisdom of God, since the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save those that believe.

1 Corinthians 1:23-25

23 but we preach Christ crucified, {Gr. Stauroo – hung on a stake}, unto the Jews a stumblingblock and unto the Gentiles foolishness; 24 but unto those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ is the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

1 Corinthians 1:24

24 but unto those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ is the power of God, and the wisdom of God. 25 For that which is foolish of God is wiser than men, and that which is weak of God is stronger than men.

1 Corinthians 1:27-29

27 but rather God has chosen that which is the foolishness of the world to confound the wise, and God has chosen that which is the weakness of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; 28 and that which is vile of the world and that which is despised God has chosen, and things which are not, to bring to nought the things that are,

1 Corinthians 1:28-29

28 and that which is vile of the world and that which is despised God has chosen, and things which are not, to bring to nought the things that are, 29 that no flesh should glory in his presence. 30 But of him ye are reborn in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom and righteousness and sanctification and redemption, 31 that, according as it is written, He that glories, let him glory in the Lord.

1 Corinthians 2:1-2

1 ¶ And I, brothers, when I came to you, came not with puffed up speech or wisdom to declare unto you the testimony of God.

1 Corinthians 2:1

1 ¶ And I, brothers, when I came to you, came not with puffed up speech or wisdom to declare unto you the testimony of God. 2 For I judged not to know anything among you, except Jesus Christ and him crucified.

1 Corinthians 2:2

2 For I judged not to know anything among you, except Jesus Christ and him crucified. 3 And I was with you in weakness and in fear and in much trembling. 4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power,

1 Corinthians 2:4-6

4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, 5 that your faith should not be founded in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

1 Corinthians 2:5-6

5 that your faith should not be founded in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. 6 ¶ For we speak perfect wisdom of God, and not the wisdom of this age nor of the princes of this age, that come to nought,

1 Corinthians 2:6-6

6 ¶ For we speak perfect wisdom of God, and not the wisdom of this age nor of the princes of this age, that come to nought,

1 Corinthians 2:8

8 which none of the princes of this age knew (for had they known it, they would never have crucified the Lord of glory).

1 Corinthians 2:13

13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teaches, but with doctrine of the Holy Spirit, jointly fitting spiritual things by spiritual means. 14 But the natural man does not perceive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness unto him; neither can he understand them because they are spiritually discerned.

1 Corinthians 3:3

3 For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying and strife and divisions, are ye not carnal and walk as men? 4 For while one says, I am of Paul, and another, I am of Apollos, are ye not carnal? 5 ¶ Who then is Paul? and who is Apollos? but servants by whom ye believed, each one according to that which the Lord gave. 6 I have planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase.

1 Corinthians 3:9

9 For we are labourers together with God; ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building.

1 Corinthians 3:18-20

18 ¶ Let no one deceive himself. If any one among you seems to be wise in this age, let them become a fool that they may be wise. 19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He takes the wise in their own craftiness.

1 Corinthians 3:19-20

19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He takes the wise in their own craftiness. 20 And again, The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain. 21 ¶ Therefore let no one glory in men. For all things are yours; 22 whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or things present or things to come, all are yours; 23 and ye are Christ’s; and Christ is God’s.

1 Corinthians 4:5

5 Therefore, judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts; and then shall each one have praise of God. 6 And these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollos for your sakes, that in us ye might not learn above that which is written, lest because of one, some of you become puffed up against others. 7 ¶ For who makes thee to judge? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, what dost thou glory of, as if thou hadst not received it?

1 Corinthians 4:7

7 ¶ For who makes thee to judge? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, what dost thou glory of, as if thou hadst not received it? 8 Now ye are full, now ye are rich, ye reign as kings without us, and I wish ye did reign, that we also might reign with you. 9 For I think that God has set forth us the apostles last, as it were appointed to death; for we are made a spectacle unto the world and to angels and to men. 10 We are fools for Christ’s sake, but ye are prudent in Christ; we are weak, but ye are strong; ye are honourable, but we are despised.

1 Corinthians 4:16

16 Therefore, I beseech you that ye imitate me.

1 Corinthians 5:5

5 let such a one be delivered unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus. 6 Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leavens the whole lump?

1 Corinthians 6:1-7

1 ¶ Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go unto judgment before the unjust, and not before the saints? 2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters? 3 Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more the things that pertain to this life? 4 If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set as judges the most humble who are in the congregation {Gr. ekklesia – called out ones}. 5 I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brothers? 6 But brother goes to judgment against brother, and that before the unbelievers. 7 Now therefore there is certainly a fault among you, because ye go to law one with another. Why do ye not rather suffer the wrong? why do ye not rather be defrauded?

1 Corinthians 6:9-11

9 ¶ Know ye not that the unjust shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not err: neither fornicators nor idolaters nor adulterers nor effeminate nor homosexuals 10 nor thieves nor covetous nor drunkards nor revilers nor extortioners shall inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you, but now ye are washed, but now ye are sanctified, but now ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and in the Spirit of our God.

1 Corinthians 6:11

11 And such were some of you, but now ye are washed, but now ye are sanctified, but now ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and in the Spirit of our God.

1 Corinthians 6:16-17

16 What? know ye not that he who is joined to the harlot is one body with her? For they shall be, saith he, two in one flesh. 17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20

19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom ye have of God, and that ye are not your own? 20 For ye are bought with a price, therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.

1 Corinthians 7:29

29 But this I say, brothers, the time is short; for the rest, let those that have wives be as though they had none;

1 Corinthians 8:6

6 but to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.

1 Corinthians 8:11

11 and through thy knowledge the weak brother shall perish, for whom Christ died.

1 Corinthians 9:1-2

1 ¶ Am I not an apostle? Am I not free? Have I not seen Jesus Christ our Lord? Are not ye my work in the Lord? 2 If I am not an apostle unto others, yet doubtless I am to you, for you are the seal of my apostleship in the Lord.

1 Corinthians 9:5

5 Do we not have authority to bring with us a sister, a wife, as also the other apostles and as the brothers of the Lord and Cephas?

1 Corinthians 10:2

2 and were all baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea

1 Corinthians 10:13

13 No temptation has taken you but such as is common to man, but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above what ye are able but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

1 Corinthians 10:16

16 The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the fellowship of the blood of the Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the fellowship of the body of the Christ?

1 Corinthians 11:18

18 For first of all, when ye come together in the congregation {Gr. ekklesia – called out ones}, I hear that there are divisions among you; and I partly believe it.

1 Corinthians 12:8

8 For to one is given by the Spirit a word of wisdom; to another, a word of knowledge according to the same Spirit;

1 Corinthians 12:10

10 to another, the operation of miracles; to another, prophecy; to another, discerning of spirits; to another, different kinds of tongues; to another, the interpretation of tongues:

1 Corinthians 12:18

18 But now God has set the members each one of them in the body, as it has pleased him.

1 Corinthians 12:25

25 that there should be no contradiction in the body, but that the members should have the same care one for another.

1 Corinthians 12:27

27 ¶ Now ye are the body of Christ and members in particular.

1 Corinthians 13:2

2 And though I have the gift of prophecy and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

1 Corinthians 13:8

8 ¶ Charity is never lost, but prophecies shall come to an end, tongues shall cease, and knowledge shall come to an end.

1 Corinthians 14:5-6

5 I would that ye all spoke with tongues, but rather that ye prophesied, for greater is he that prophesies than he that speaks with tongues, unless he interprets, that the congregation {Gr. ekklesia – called out ones} may receive edifying. 6 ¶ Now, brothers, if I come unto you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit you unless I speak to you either with revelation or with knowledge or with prophecy or with doctrine?

1 Corinthians 14:18

18 I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than ye all;

1 Corinthians 14:26

26 ¶ How is it then, brothers? when ye come together, each one of you has a psalm, has doctrine, has tongues, has revelation, has interpretation. Let all things be done unto edification.

1 Corinthians 15:2

2 by which also ye are being saved if ye retain the word that I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

1 Corinthians 15:5

5 and that he appeared to Cephas and then to the twelve;

1 Corinthians 15:9

9 For I am the least of the apostles, for I am not worthy to be called an apostle because I persecuted the congregation {Gr. ekklesia – called out ones} of God.

1 Corinthians 15:50

50 Now this I say, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither does corruption inherit incorruption.

1 Corinthians 15:54-57

54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the word that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 55 O death, where is thy sting? O Hades, where is thy victory? 56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 16:12

12 As touching our brother Apollos, I greatly desired him to come unto you with some of the brothers, but his will was not at all to come at this time, but he will come when he shall have opportunity.

1 Corinthians 16:15

15 I beseech you, brethren (ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia and that they have dedicated themselves to the ministry of the saints),

1 Corinthians 16:17

17 I am glad of the coming of Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus, for they have filled your absence.

2 Corinthians 1:1

1 ¶ Paul, apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, unto the congregation {Gr. ekklesia – called out ones} of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints who are in all Achaia: 2 Grace be to you and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 1:14

14 as also ye have known in part, that we are your rejoicing, even as ye also are ours in the day of the Lord Jesus.

2 Corinthians 1:18

18 But God is faithful that our word toward you has not been yes and no.

2 Corinthians 1:21

21 Now he who confirms us with you unto Christ and has anointed us is God;

2 Corinthians 2:14

14 Now thanks be unto God, who always causes us to triumph in the Christ and makes manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place. 15 For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in those that are saved and in those that perish; 16 to the one we are the savour of death unto death and to the other the savour of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things?

2 Corinthians 4:2

2 but remove from ourselves every hidden shameful thing, not walking in craftiness, nor adulterating the word of God, but in the manifestation of the truth, commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God. 3 But if our gospel is hid, it is hid to those that are lost,

2 Corinthians 4:5

5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and ourselves your slaves for Jesus’ sake. 6 For the God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, has shined in our hearts to bring forth the light of the knowledge of the clarity of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 7 But we have this treasure in clay vessels that the excellency of the virtue may be of God, and not of us.

2 Corinthians 5:14-15

14 For the charity of the Christ constrains us because we judge thus: that if one died for all, then all are dead: 15 And that he died for all that those who live should not live from now on unto themselves, but unto him who died and rose again for them.

2 Corinthians 5:17-21

17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, they are a new creation: old things are passed away; behold, all things are made new. 18 And all this by God, who reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 for certainly God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them and having placed in us the word of reconciliation. 20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did exhort you by us; we beseech you in Christ’s name, be ye reconciled to God.

2 Corinthians 5:20-21

20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did exhort you by us; we beseech you in Christ’s name, be ye reconciled to God. 21 For he has made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin, that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

2 Corinthians 6:1

1 ¶ We then, as workers together with him, exhort you also that ye have not received the grace of God in vain.

2 Corinthians 8:7

7 ¶ Therefore, as ye abound in every thing, in faith and in word and in knowledge and in all diligence and in your love to us, see that ye abound in this grace also.

2 Corinthians 9:6

6 ¶ But this I say, He who sows sparingly shall reap also sparingly, and he who sows in blessings shall also reap blessings.

2 Corinthians 9:11

11 so that being enriched in everything to all generosity, which works out through us thanksgiving unto God.

2 Corinthians 10:1

1 ¶ Now I, Paul, myself beseech you by the meekness and clemency of the Christ (who in presence am low among you, but being absent am bold toward you)

2 Corinthians 10:3-4

3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh 4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God for the destruction of strong holds),

2 Corinthians 10:4

4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God for the destruction of strong holds),

2 Corinthians 10:4-5

4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God for the destruction of strong holds), 5 casting down reasonings and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God and leading captive every thought into the obedience of the Christ

2 Corinthians 10:10

10 For his letters, they say, are weighty and powerful; but his bodily presence is weak, and his speech contemptible.

2 Corinthians 10:17

17 But he that glories, let him glory in the Lord.

2 Corinthians 11:2

2 For I am jealous over you with the jealousy of God, for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to the Christ.

2 Corinthians 11:4

4 Therefore if anyone comes preaching another Jesus whom we have not preached or if ye receive another spirit from that which ye have received or another gospel from that which ye have accepted, ye bear well with it. 5 ¶ I reckon that I have not been inferior in any way to those grandiose apostles. 6 But though I am rude in speech, yet not in knowledge, but we have been thoroughly made manifest among you in all things.

2 Corinthians 12:2

2 I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell; God knows) was caught up to the third heaven.

2 Corinthians 12:11

11 ¶ I have been a fool, glorying; ye have compelled me; for I ought to have been commended of you, for in nothing am I behind the grandiose apostles, though I am nothing. 12 Truly the signs of the apostle were worked out among you in all patience, in signs and wonders and power. 13 For what is it in which ye were inferior to the other congregations {Gr. ekklesia – called out ones} except in that I myself was not burdensome to you? forgive me this wrong.

2 Corinthians 12:20

20 For I fear, lest, when I come, I shall not find you such as I desire and that I shall be found unto you such as ye desire not, lest there be debates, envyings, wraths, strifes, backbitings, whisperings, rumours, tumults,

2 Corinthians 13:4

4 For though he was crucified through weakness, yet he lives by the power of God. By which we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him by the power of God in you.

2 Corinthians 13:11

11 ¶ For the rest, brethren, that ye may have joy, be perfected, have consolation, be of one mind, having peace; and the God of peace and charity shall be with you.

Galatians 1:1

1 ¶ Paul, apostle (not from men neither through man, but through Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised him from the dead) 2 and all the brethren who are with me, unto the congregations {Gr. ekklesia – called out ones} of Galatia:

Galatians 1:4

4 who gave himself for our sins that he might deliver us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father,

Galatians 1:7

7 for there is not another; but there are some that trouble you and would pervert the gospel of the Christ.

Galatians 1:15-16

15 But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb and called me by his grace,

Galatians 1:15

15 But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb and called me by his grace, 16 to reveal his Son in me that I might preach him among the Gentiles, immediately I did not confer with flesh and blood,

Galatians 2:7-8

7 But to the contrary, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter 8 (for he that showed himself forth in Peter for apostleship of the circumcision, the same also showed himself forth in me toward the Gentiles); 9 and when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hand of fellowship that we should go unto the Gentiles, and they unto the circumcision.

Galatians 2:20

20 I am crucified with Christ; nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me, and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

Galatians 3:1

1 ¶ O foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you that ye should not trust in the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ has been evidently set forth, crucified among you?

Galatians 3:5

5 He therefore that gives unto you the Spirit and does works of power among you, does he do it by the works of the law or by the obedient ear of faith?

Galatians 3:13

13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us, (for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangs on a tree),

Galatians 3:17

17 And this I say that regarding the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot cancel it, that it should make the promise of no effect.

Galatians 4:12

12 ¶ Brethren, I beseech you, be as I am; for I am as ye are; ye have not injured me at all.

Galatians 5:11

11 And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? Then is the offence of the cross {Gr. stauros – stake} ceased.

Galatians 5:15

15 But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye are not consumed one of another.

Galatians 5:20

20 idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

Galatians 5:22-24

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is this: Charity, joy, peace, tolerance, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. 24 For those that are of the Christ have crucified the flesh with its affections and lusts.

Galatians 5:26

26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

Galatians 6:12-14

12 As many as desire to please in the flesh, they constrain you to be circumcised, only lest they should suffer persecution for the cross {Gr. stauros – stake} of the Christ. 13 For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law, but desire to have you circumcised that they may glory in your flesh. 14 But in no wise should I glory, except in the cross {Gr. stauros – stake} of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.

Galatians 6:14
