⁷ And Elohim shoots them an arrow; suddenly they are struck:

²³ I scrape together evils on them; I finish off my arrows on them.

⁴² I intoxicate my arrows with blood and my sword devours flesh; from the blood of the pierced and of the captives - from the heads of the leaders of the enemy.

³⁴ And a man draws a bow in his integrity and smites the sovereign of Yisra El between the joints of the habergeon: and he says to his charioteer, Turn your hand and bring me from the camp; for I am sick.

³ and the war is heavy against Shaul and the bowmen find him and the archers writhe him. ⁴ And Shaul says to his instrument bearer, Draw your sword and stab me therewith; lest these uncircumcised come and exploit me. And his instrument bearer wills not for he is mighty awed: and Shaul takes a sword and falls on it: ⁵ and his instrument bearer sees Shaul die and he likewise falls on the sword and dies: ⁶ and Shaul dies and his three sons and all his house die together: ⁷ and all the men of Yisra El in the valley see them flee and Shaul and his sons die; and they forsake their cities and flee: and the Peleshethiy come and settle in them.

⁴ for the arrows of Shadday are within me, whereof the poison drinks up my spirit; the terrors of Elohah line up against me.

¹² If he turns not, he sharpens his sword; he bends his bow and prepares ¹³ - prepares the instruments of death for him; he heats his arrows for them who pursue.

¹⁴ yes, he sends his arrows and scatters them; he shoots lightnings and agitates them.

⁴ to shoot the integrious from the coverts; shoot suddenly, and not awe.

¹⁹ how they become a desolation - as in a blink! in consuming, they are consumed with terrors.

¹⁵ so his calamity comes suddenly; in a blink - broken without healing.

¹ A man of reproofs, with hardened neck, breaks in a blink - and there is no healing.

¹³ so this perversity is to you as a falling breach bulging out in a lofted wall - whose breaking comes suddenly in a blink.

¹² he bends his bow and stations me as a target for the arrow; ¹³ he has the sons of his quiver enter my reins.

⁴⁰ Then two, being in the field; the one taken and the one forsaken:

⁵⁰ the adoni of that servant comes in a day when he expects not and in an hour he knows not; ⁵¹ and dichotomizes him and places his portion with the hypocrites: there is weeping and gnashing of teeth.

² For yourselves know precisely that the day of Adonay comes thus - as a thief in the night. ³ For whenever they word, Shalom and security; then unexpected ruin stands over them - exactly as travail upon a woman having in womb; and they never no way escape.
