¹⁹ Better, a lowly spirit with the humble, than to allot the spoil with the pompous.

⁹ The enemy says, I pursue! I overtake! I allot the loot! My soul is filled of them: I draw my sword; my hand dispossesses them.

¹⁸ Yah Veh is near the crushed heart; and the contrite spirit he saves:

⁶ For Yah Veh is high, and he sees the lowly; and he knows the lofty afar off.

²³ The pomp of humanity abases; and honor upholds the abased in spirit.

³ You greaten the goyim; you greaten their cheerfulness: they cheer at your face as the cheerfulness in harvest; and twirl when they allot the spoil.

⁶ I send him against a goyim of profaners and against the people of my wrath; I misvah him to take the spoil and to plunder the plunder; and to set them for trampling as the heap of the outways:

¹³ For he said, By the force of my hand, I worked; and by my wisdom, I discerned: and I turned aside the borders of the people and plundered their treasures; and I brought down the settlers as the mighty: ¹⁴ and my hand found, as a nest, the valuables of the people: and as one gathers abandoned eggs, I gathered all the earth; and no one flapped the wing or gaped the mouth or chirped. ¹⁵ Boasts the ax over him who hews therewith? Or greatens the rasp over him who shakes it? - as a scion shakes them who lift it? Or as a rod lifts itself with no timber?

¹² So I allot him with the great, and he allots the spoil with the mighty; because he pours his soul to death: numbered with the rebels; and he bears the sin of many, and intercedes for the rebels.

¹⁵ For thus says the high and lifted One who tabernacles eternally - whose name is Holy; I tabernacle in the high and holy and with the crushed and lowly spirit - to enliven the spirit of the lowly, and to enliven the heart of the crushed.

³ Blessed - the poor in spirit: for theirs is the sovereigndom of the the heavens.

⁵¹ He deals power with his arm; he scatters the proud in the mind of their hearts; ⁵² he puts down the dynasties from their thrones and exalts the humble: ⁵³ he fills/shalams the famished with good and the rich he apostolizes forth empty:

¹³ And the customs agent, stands afar off, and wills not even so much as to lift his eyes to the heavens; but strikes on his chest, wording, Elohim, kapur/atone for me a sinner. ¹⁴ I word to you, this one descends to his house justified rather than the other: for everyone who exalts himself, is humbled; and whoever humbles himself, is exalted.
