⁶ and the old portal Yah Yada the son of Paseach and Meshullam the son of Besod Yah strengthen - they fell its beams and stand its doors and its locks and its bars;

And so be it, Sanballat and Tobi Yah and Geshem the Arabiy and the rest of our enemies hear I built the wall with no breach remaining therein - also until that time I had not stood the doors on the portals;

And so be it, the wall is built; and I stand the doors; and muster the porters and the singers and the Leviym;

³⁹ and from above the portal of Ephrayim and above the old portal and above the fish portal and the tower of Hanan El and the tower of Meah - even to the flock portal; and they stand still in the guard yard portal.

¹⁰ And so be it, in that day, - an oracle of Yah Veh the voice of a cry from the fish portal and an howling from the second and a great breaking from the hills.
