THE TREASON OF ACHAN But the sons of Yisra El treason a treason in the devotement: for Achan the son of Karmi the son of Zabdi the son of Zerach of the rod of Yah Hudah takes of the devotement: and Yah Veh kindles his wrath against the sons of Yisra El.

¹⁷ And the city becomes devoted to Yah Veh - it and all therein: only, Rachab the whore lives - she and all with her in the house, because she hid the angels we sent. ¹⁸ And you, be on guard of the devoted, lest you become devoted when you take of the devotement; and set the camp of Yisra El a devotement, and trouble it.

²⁰ And Achan answers Yah Shua, and says, Truly I sinned against Yah Veh Elohim of Yisra El, and thus and thus I worked: ²¹ when I saw among the spoils a goodly Babel mighty mantle and two hundred shekels of silver and one tongue of gold of fifty shekels weight, then I desire them, and take them; and behold, they are hid in the earth midst my tent, and the silver under it.

¹⁶ Thus says the whole witness of Yah Veh, What is this treason you treason against Elohim of Yisra El - to turn away this day from after Yah Veh by building a sacrifice altar - to rebel this day against Yah Veh?

¹⁸ to turn away this day from after Yah Veh? And so be it, today you rebel against Yah Veh; and tomorrow he enrages with the whole witness of Yisra El.

²⁰ Treasoned not Achan the son of Zerach a treason in the devotement - and rage fell on all the witness of Yisra El? and that man expired not alone in his perversity.

And Yah Veh adds to kindle his wrath against Yisra El; and he goads David against them to say, Go, number Yisra El and Yah Hudah.

⁶ And the sons of Zerach: Zimri and Ethan and Heman and Kalkol and Dara - five in all. ⁷ And the sons of Karmi: Achar, the troubler of Yisra El who treasoned in the devoted.

⁷ and this word is evil in the eyes of Elohim; and he smites Yisra El.

¹⁸ and they forsake the house of Yah Veh Elohim of their fathers and serve asherim and idols; and rage comes upon Yah Hudah and Yeru Shalem for this their guilt:

⁶ and say, O my Elohim, I shame and blush to lift my face to thee, my Elohim: for our perversities abound over our head, and our guilt grows to the heavens:

¹⁸ Better wisdom than instruments of war; one sinner destroys abounding good.

⁷ O Adonay, justness to you; and shame of faces to us, as this day; to the men of Yah Hudah and to the settlers of Yeru Shalem and to all Yisra El, near and far, through all the lands you drove them, because of the treason they treasoned against you.

⁷ And every man says to his friend, Come, and we fell pebbles, so that we know on whose account this evil is on us. - and they fell pebbles and the pebble falls on Yonah.

PAULOS REBUKES WHOREDOM
I actually hear of whoredom among you; and such whoredom as is not even named among the goyim; that one has the woman of his father. ² And you puff up, and indeed rather not mourn, than take away from among you whoever does this work. ³ For I indeed, as being absent in body and being present in spirit - as being present, I already judged him who thus works. ⁴ In the name of our Adonay Yah Shua Messiah when you co-gather with my spirit and with the dynamis of our Adonay Yah Shua Messiah, ⁵ to deliver such an one to Satan - to ruin the flesh - to save the spirit in the day of Adonay Yah Shua. ⁶ Your boasting is not good. Know you not that a little fermentation ferments the whole lump?

¹⁵ overseeing lest anyone fall behind of the charism of Elohim; lest any sprouting root of bitterness harass you; and through this many are defiled; ¹⁶ lest there be any whoremonger or profaner as Esav - who for one morsel of food gave up his firstrights.
