⁵ But now it comes on you, and you weary; it touches you, and you terrify.

Come to me all you belabored and overburdened and I rest you:

²³ I scrape together evils on them; I finish off my arrows on them. ²⁴ Exhausted by famine, devoured by burning heat and bitter ruin: I also send the teeth of animals on them, with the poison of creepers of the dust.

⁴² I intoxicate my arrows with blood and my sword devours flesh; from the blood of the pierced and of the captives - from the heads of the leaders of the enemy.

¹⁷ though he crushes me with a whirling and abounds my wounds gratuitously;

And every pilot and all the homogeneous crowd in sailers and ship crew and as many as work by sea stand from afar; ¹⁸ and seeing the smoke of her firing, they cry, wording, What is like to this megalopolis!

³ Behold, here am I: answer against me in front of Yah Veh and in front of his anointed: Whose ox took I? Whose he burro took I? Whom extorted I? Whom crushed I? Of whose hand took I a koper/an atonement to veil my eyes therewith? - and I restore it to you.

¹⁵ Surely Elohim redeems my soul from the hand of sheol; for he takes me. Selah.

² Say it, you redeemed of Yah Veh - whom he redeemed from the hand of the tribulator;

²¹ and I rescue you from the palm of the evil and I redeem you from the hand of the tyrant.

²⁷ Behold this, we probe, and so be it; hear and know for your own good.

² I say to Elohah, Judge me not wicked; let me know why you contend with me.

¹¹ Behold, I awaited your words; I gave ear to your reasons as you probed utterances:

¹⁵ They are dismayed; they answer no more; they remove from uttering: ¹⁶ I await, they word not; but stand still and answer no more.

¹ And yet, I beseech you, Iyob, hear my utterances and hearken to all my words:

³¹ Mark well, O Iyob, hearken to me; hush and I word. ³² If you have utterances, respond; word, for I desire to justify you. ³³ If not, hearken to me; hush - and I teach you wisdom.

³² Except, what I see not, you teach me; if I have done wickedness, never again.

¹² Inadvertent errors - who discerns? Exonerate me from the hidden;

⁸ I have you discern and teach you the way to go; I counsel you with my eye.

¹ To His Eminence; Yeduthun/A Laudatory; A Psalm by David. I say, I guard my ways from sinning with my tongue; I guard my mouth with a muzzle while the wicked is ere in front of me. ² I am mute with silence; I hush from good; and my pain troubles me:

⁹ give to the wise and he enwisens; the just know, and increase in doctrine.

¹² as a nosering of gold and an ornament of ore, thus is a wise reprover to a hearkening ear.

¹⁹ So then, my beloved brothers, thus be every human: quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:

² for we all stumble much. If anyone stumbles not in word, this one is a completed/shalamed man, also able to bridle the whole body.

⁵ Who gives, that in hushing, you hush; that it be your wisdom.

³ Is there an end to words of wind/spirit? What reinforces you to answer? ⁴ I also word as you; O that your soul were in the stead of my soul to charm utterances against you and shake my head at you. ⁵ I strengthen you by my mouth that the moving of my lips spare you.

³⁴ How then sigh you over me in vain, seeing that treason survives in your responses?

²⁵ And if not, who proves me a liar? Who sets my utterances as naught?

³ He also kindles his wrath against his three friends because they find no answer and judge Iyob wicked.

¹⁸ The babbler is like the stabs of a sword; and the tongue of the wise is healing.

²¹ The wise in heart is called, Discerning; and the sweetness of the lips increases doctrine. ²² Comprehension is a fountain of life to its master; and the discipline of fools is folly. ²³ The heart of the wise comprehends his mouth and adds doctrine to his lips. ²⁴ Pleasant sayings are as a honeycomb - sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.

²¹ Death and life are in the hand of the tongue; and they who love it eat the fruit thereof.

¹¹ A word roundly worded is apples of gold in imageries of silver:

¹⁰ The Congregationer sought to find out words of delight; inscribed by the straight - words of truth. ¹¹ The words of the wise are as goads - as nails implanted by the masters of gatherings - given by one attendant.

¹⁰ And he says to her, You word as one of the foolish word. yes, take we good at the hand of Elohim - and not take evil? - in all this Iyob sinned not with his lips.

³ Destroy the day I was birthed; and the night that says, A mighty child is conceived; ⁴ O that that day be darkness: that Elohah neither require it from above, nor the light shine on it; ⁵ that darkness and the shadow of death redeem it; that a cloudiness tabernacle on it; that the eclipses of the day frighten it; ⁶ as for that night, O that darkness take it; that it not rejoice to the days of the year; that it not come into the number of the moons. ⁷ Behold, O that that night be sterile, that no shout come therein; ⁸ that they curse, who curse the day who are ready to waken a leviathan; ⁹ O that the stars of the evening breeze darken; that it await light, but have none; that it not see the eyelids of the dawn; ¹⁰ because it neither shut the doors of my belly, nor hide toil from my eyes. ¹¹ Why died I not from the womb? - expire when I came from the belly? ¹² Why did the knees anticipate me? Or why the breasts I suck? ¹³ For now I lie down and rest; had I slept, then had I been at rest, ¹⁴ with sovereigns and counsellors of the earth, who build parched areas for themselves; ¹⁵ or with governors who have gold - who fill their houses with silver; ¹⁶ or I had not been as a hidden miscarriage - as infants who never see light. ¹⁷ There the wicked cease from commotion; and there the wearied of force rest; ¹⁸ there the bound relax together; they hear not the voice of the exactor; ¹⁹ the small and great are there; and the servant is liberated from his adoni. ²⁰ Why gives he light to him in misery and life to the bitter soul; ²¹ who await death, and so be it not; and dig for it more than for hid treasures; ²² who cheer and twirl and rejoice, when they can find the tomb? ²³ - to the mighty whose way is hid whom Elohah hedges in? ²⁴ For my sighing comes at the face of my bread and my roarings pour as the waters. ²⁵ For the dread I dreaded comes on me and what I feared comes to me. ²⁶ I neither serenified, nor had I rest, nor rested I; yet commotion came.

³ Behold, you instructed many and you strengthened the weak hands; ⁴ your utterances raised him who falters and you strengthened the kneeling knees.

⁴ for the arrows of Shadday are within me, whereof the poison drinks up my spirit; the terrors of Elohah line up against me.

⁹ O that Elohah wills to crush me - to loose his hand and cut me off!

² Until when utter you these? - the sayings of your mouth so much wind?

¹ My soul loathes life; I forsake my self-meditation; I word in the bitterness of my soul.

³ for the ear proofs utterances, as the palate tastes to eat. ⁴ We choose judgment; we know among ourselves what is good. ⁵ For Iyob said, I am justified and El turned aside my judgment! ⁶ Lie I against my judgment? my arrow is incurable - without rebellion. ⁷ Who is mighty as Iyob? Who drinks derision as water? ⁸ Who caravans in companionship with the doers of mischief? Who walks with men of wickedness? ⁹ For he said, Useless for the mighty to be pleased with Elohim.

² Who is this who darkens counsel by utterances without knowledge?

⁵ I worded once; but I answer not: yes, twice; but not again.

⁸ Break you my judgment? Judge you me wicked to justify yourself?

³ Who is he who conceals counsel without knowledge? so I tell, and I discern not - too marvellous for me, and I know not.

And so be it, after Yah Veh words these words to Iyob, Yah Veh says to Eli Phaz the Temaniy, I kindle my wrath against you and against your two friends; for you word not of me what is established - as my servant Iyob.

¹ Ephrayim grazes on wind and pursues the easterly; every day he abounds lies and ravages: and they cut a covenant with the Ashshuri and bear oil to Misrayim.

³⁷ for by your words you are justified; and by your words you are adjudged.

¹⁴ that we no longer be babies surging and carried about with every wind of doctrine in the dice of men and in cunning with their methods of seduction;

²² Humble not any widow or orphan: ²³ if in humbling, you humble them and in crying, they cry to me, in hearing, I hear their cry; ²⁴ and I kindle my wrath and slaughter you with the sword; that your women become widows and your sons orphans.

⁹ you send widows away empty and crush the arms of the orphan.

³ they drive away the she burro of the orphan; they take the ox of the widow for a pledge;

⁹ they strip the orphan from the breast and take a pledge of the humble;

¹² because I rescued them who cried - the humble and the orphan and whoever had no helper.

³ Judge the poor and orphan; justify the humble and impoverished;

²⁰ Shalam we evil for good? For they dig a chasm for my soul. Remember that I stood at your face to word good for them and to turn away your fury from them.

²² Hear their cry from the houses when you bring a troop suddenly on them: for they dig a chasm to capture me and hide snares for my feet.

⁷ in you they abase father and mother: in your midst they worked oppression with the sojourner: in you they vex the orphan and the widow.

¹⁰ Yet was she is exiled; she goes into captivity: even her sucklings splatter at the top of all the outways: and they handle pebbles for her honorable men and chain all her great in chains.

⁵ And I approach you for judgment; and I become a hasty witness against the sorcerers and against the adulterers and against false oathers and against those who oppress the hireling in his hire - the widow and the orphan; and who pervert the sojourner and awe me not, says Yah Veh Sabaoth.

²⁷ Pure and unpolluted ceremony with Elohim and the Father is this: To scope out the orphans and widows in their tribulation and to guard himself unstained from the cosmos.

³ and in avarice they fabricate words and merchandise of you: whose judgment of old idles not and their destruction slumbers not.

³ - that your lies hush men? - and when you deride, that no one shames you?

⁴ neither my lips word wickedness nor my tongue mutters deceit.

³ my sayings are of the straightness of my heart; and my lips utter knowledge purely.

⁴ For truly my utterances are not false; the integrious in knowledge is with you.

¹⁰ But as for you all, return and come, I beseech; for I find none wise among you.

¹⁰ For he knows my way; he proofs me; I come forth as gold.

⁴ neither my lips word wickedness nor my tongue mutters deceit. ⁵ Far be it that I justify you; until I expire I turn not aside from my integrity. ⁶ I uphold my justness and slacken not; my heart reproaches me not all my days:

⁵ For Iyob said, I am justified and El turned aside my judgment!

⁶ so I spurn and sigh in dust and ashes.

¹⁸ and you return and see between the just and the wicked, between him who serves Elohim and between him who serves him not.

⁶ Is slime eaten without salt? Is there taste in the slime of an egg?

⁸ surely you said to my ears; and I heard the voice of your utterances; ⁹ I am pure without rebellion - covered - no perversity within me. ¹⁰ Behold, he finds alienations against me; he fabricates me for his enemy; ¹¹ he sets my feet in the stocks; he guards all my paths. ¹² Behold, in this you are not justified; I answer you, Elohah is greater than man.

³ Who is he who conceals counsel without knowledge? so I tell, and I discern not - too marvellous for me, and I know not. ⁴ Hear, I beseech you, and I word; I ask you; you have me know. ⁵ I hear you by the hearing of the ear; and now my eye sees you: ⁶ so I spurn and sigh in dust and ashes.

¹⁴ and solid nourishment is for the completed/shalamed - who through habit exercised their perceptions to discern both good and evil.
