²⁸ so that they cause the cry of the poor to come to him; and he hears the cry of the humble.

²³ And so be it, in these many days, the sovereign of Misrayim dies: and the sons of Yisra El sigh because of the service; and they cry because of the service and their cry ascends to Elohim: ²⁴ and Elohim hears their groaning and Elohim remembers his covenant with Abraham with Yischaq and with Yaaqov:

⁷ And Yah Veh says, In seeing, I see the humiliation of my people in Misrayim and hear their cry at the face of their exactors; for I know their sorrows; :

⁹ and now, behold, the cry of the sons of Yisra El comes to me: and I also see the oppression wherewith the Misrayim oppress them.

²³ if in humbling, you humble them and in crying, they cry to me, in hearing, I hear their cry; ²⁴ and I kindle my wrath and slaughter you with the sword; that your women become widows and your sons orphans. ²⁵ If you lend silver to any of my people who are humbled with you, neither be to him as a lender, nor set on him usury. ²⁶ If in pledging, you pledge the clothes of your friend, return it to him until the sun goes down: ²⁷ for that is his only covering; it is his clothes for his skin: Wherein lies he down? And so be it, when he cries to me, I hearken; for I am charismatic.

⁹ you send widows away empty and crush the arms of the orphan. ¹⁰ So snares surround you and sudden dread terrifies you:

¹² Men of the city groan and the soul of the pierced cries out; yet Elohah sets not frivolity to them.

¹² because I rescued them who cried - the humble and the orphan and whoever had no helper. ¹³ The blessing of him who was ready to destruct came on me; and I caused the heart of the widow to shout.

¹⁹ If I have seen any destruct for want of robe or the needy without covering; ²⁰ if neither his loins blessed me nor heated with the fleece of my lambs;

⁹ By reason of the abundance of oppressions they cause to cry out - to cry out by reason of the arm of the great.

⁵ For the devastation of the humble, for the shrieking of the needy, I now rise, says Yah Veh; I set him in safety from him who puffs at him.

⁷ For the vineyard of Yah Veh Sabaoth is the house of Yisra El, and the men of Yah Hudah his plant of delights: and he awaits judgment; and behold, oppression: for justness; and behold, a cry.

⁴ Behold, the hire of the workers who ingathered your regions - whom you cheated, cries out: and the cries of them who harvest enter the ears of Yah Veh Sabaoth.
