³⁰ So - an oracle of Yah Veh Elohim of Yisra El In saying, I say, that your house and the house of your father walk at my face eternally: and now - an oracle of Yah Veh far be it from me; for they who honor me, I honor; and they who despise me, I abase. ³¹ Behold, the days come, that I cut off your arm and the arm of the house of your father that there not be an old man in your house. ³² And you, look at the tribulation of my habitation, in all that Elohim well-prepares for Yisra El: that there not be an old man in your house all days: ³³ and the man of yours, whom I cut not off from my sacrifice altar, finishes off your eyes and lanquishes your soul: and of all the increase of your house, these men die. ³⁴ And this is a sign to you to come on your two sons - on Hophni and Pinechas; in one day they die - both of them: ³⁵ and I raise me a trustworthy priest, to work according to what is in my heart and in my soul: and I build him a permanent house; and he walks at the face of my anointed all days. ³⁶ And so be it, every one who remains in your house comes and prostrates to him for a coin of silver and a round of bread, and says, Scrape me, I beseech you, into one of the priesthoods, that I may eat a morsel of bread.

²⁸ And Shemu El says to him, Yah Veh rips the sovereigndom of Yisra El from you this day; and gives it to your friend - better than you:

⁷ Go, say to Yarob Am, Thus says Yah Veh Elohim of Yisra El, Because I exalted you from among the people; and gave you eminence over my people Yisra El; ⁸ and ripped the sovereigndom from the house of David; and gave it to you: and you became not as my servant David - who guarded my misvoth - who walked after me with all his heart - to work only, straight in my eyes:

¹⁴ And Yah Veh raises a sovereign over Yisra El, to cut off the house of Yarob Am that day. And what? Even now!

¹⁹ he walks priests away stripped and perverts the perennial;

² Until when grieve you my soul and crush me with utterances?

⁹ You, shatter them with a scion of iron; splatter them as a formed instrument.

⁴ He judges the humble of the people; he saves the sons of the needy and crushes the oppressor.

⁵ They crush your people, O Yah Veh, and humble your inheritance;

⁷ He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the dunghill ⁸ to set them with volunteers - the volunteers of his people.

²⁰ You are my disintegrator and instruments of war: and with you, I shatter the goyim; and with you, I ruin sovereigndoms; ²¹ and with you, I shatter the horse and his rider; and with you, I shatter the chariot and his rider; ²² and with you, I shatter man and woman; and with you, I shatter aged and lad; and with you, I shatter the youth and the virgin; ²³ and I shatter the tender and his drove; and with you, I shatter the cultivator and his yoke; and with you, I shatter governors and prefects:

²¹ and he changes the times and the seasons: he passes sovereigns by, and raises sovereigns: he gives wisdom to the magi, and perception to them who know discernment:

³⁴ you see until a stone is cut - not by hands which strikes the image on his feet of iron and clay and pulverizes them: ³⁵ then the iron, the clay, the copper, the silver and the gold pulverize as one, and become as the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind bears them, and no place is found for them: and the stone that strikes the image becomes a great rock and fills the whole earth.

⁴⁴ And in the days of these sovereigns Elah of the heavens raises a sovereigndom, which despoils not eternally: and the sovereigndom is not left to other people, it pulverizes and consumes all these sovereigndoms and it is raised eternally. ⁴⁵ Because, as you saw, the stone cut from the rock, not by hands, and it pulverizes the iron, the copper, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great Elah makes known to the sovereign what becomes after this: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation trustworthy.
