Job 29 Cross References - ECB

1 And Iyob lifts to add his proverb and says, 2 O that I were as in ancient moons - as in the days Elohah guarded me; 3 when his lamp halaled on my head; when by his light I walked the darkness; 4 as I was in the days of winter with the private counsel of Elohah on my tent: 5 when Shadday was yet with me; when my lads surrounded me; 6 when I bathed my steps with butter and the rock poured me rivulets of oil; 7 when I went out to the portal through the city; when I prepared my settlement in the broadway! 8 The lads saw me and hid themselves and the aged rose and stood; 9 governors refrained uttering and set their palm on their mouth; 10 the eminent hid their voice and their tongue adhered to their palate. 11 When the ear heard, it called me blithesome; and when the eye saw, it gave me witness; 12 because I rescued them who cried - the humble and the orphan and whoever had no helper. 13 The blessing of him who was ready to destruct came on me; and I caused the heart of the widow to shout. 14 I enrobed justness and it enrobed me; my judgment was as a mantle and a turban; 15 I was eyes to the blind and feet to the lame; 16 - a father to the needy. I probed contentions that I knew not; 17 I broke the molars of the wicked and cast the prey from his teeth. 18 And I said, I expire in my nest and my days abound as the sand. 19 My root spreads to the waters and the dew stays overnight on my clippings. 20 My honor is new within me and my bow changes in my hand. 21 To me they hearken and wait and hush at my counsel. 22 After my words they reiterated not; and my utterances dropped on them; 23 they awaited me as for the rain; they gaped their mouth as for the after rain. 24 I laughed on them, they trusted not; and the light of my face they felled not. 25 I chose their way, and settled as head; and tabernacled as a sovereign in the troops, as one who sighs over the mourners.

THE BODY OF THE MESSIAH
For exactly as the body is one and has many members; and all the members of that one body being many, are one body; thus also the Messiah. 13 For in one Spirit we all are baptized into one body, whether Yah Hudiym, whether Hellenes, whether servants, whether liberated; and have all to drink into one Spirit. 14
ONE BODY, MANY MEMBERS
For the body is not one member, but many. 15 Whenever the foot says, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; so is it not of the body? 16 And whenever the ear says, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; so is it not of the body? 17 If the whole body were an eye, where the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where the smelling? 18 And now Elohim sets the members - each in the body - exactly as he wills. 19 And if they all were one member, where the body? 20 And now indeed, many members, yet but one body. 21 And the eye cannot say to the hand, I have no need of you: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you. 22 Rather, much more, those members of the body we think to be frail are necessary; 23 and on those of the body we think of as dishonorable, we place superabundant honor; and on our misbehavors, superabundant honor. 24 For our honorables have no need: but Elohim co-mingles the body giving superabundant honor to what lacked; 25 that there be no schism in the body; but that the members have the same anxiety one for another. 26 And whether one member suffers, all the members co-suffer; or whether one member is glorified, all the members co-rejoice: 27 and you are the body of Messiah and members in particular. 28
THE CHARISMATA IN THE ECCLESIA
And indeed Elohim set some in the ecclesia: first apostles, secondly prophets, thirdly doctors, then dynamis, then charismata of healings, supports, pilots, genos of tongues. 29 All apostles? All prophets? All doctors? All dynamis? 30 All the charismata of healings? All speak with tongues? All translate? 31 But be zealous for the better charismata: and I show you a still more excellent way.

Then the sovereign says, This one says, This is my son who lives, and your son is the dead: and that one says, No; but your son is the dead, and my son is the living. 24 And the sovereign says, Take me a sword. - and they bring a sword at the face of the sovereign. 25 And the sovereign says, Cut the living child in two; and give half to the one and half to the one. 26 Then the woman whose son is the living says to the sovereign - for her mercies yearned upon her son and she says, O my adoni, give her the live birthed one; and in deathifying, deathify it not. And the other said, O that it neither be mine nor yours! Cut! 27 And the sovereign answers and says, Give her the live birthed one; and in deathifying, deathify it not: she is the mother thereof. 28 And all Yisra El hears of the judgment the sovereign judged; and they awe at the face of the sovereign: for they see the wisdom of Elohim in his midst to work judgment.
