⁷ Behold, I cry from violence, but no answer; I cry, but no judgment:

²⁴ He gives the earth into the hand of the wicked; he covers the faces of the judges; If not, where and who is he?

³² For he is not a man as I, that I answer him and we come together in judgment.

³ Is it good to you that you oppress? That you spurn the labor of your palms? And shine on the counsel of the wicked?

¹⁵ If I be wicked, woe to me; and if I be justified, yet I lift not my head. I satiate with abasement; you see my humiliation; ¹⁶ for it rises; you hunt me as a roaring lion; you turn back; you show yourself marvellous in me; ¹⁷ you renew your witnesses against me and abound your vexation with me; changes and hostility are against me.

¹⁵ Behold, he severs me, yet I await not; surely I reprove my own ways at his face. ¹⁶ Also he is my salvation; for no profaner comes at this face. ¹⁷ Hearken! Hear my utterances! - my utterance with your ears. ¹⁸ Behold, I beseech, I line up my judgment; I know I am justified. ¹⁹ Who contends with me? for now, if I hush, I expire. ²⁰ Only work not these two to me: that I not hide from your face; ²¹ remove your palm far from me and let not your terror frighten me. ²² And you call and I - I respond; or, I word and you answer me. ²³ How many are my perversities and sins? - have me know my rebellion and my sin?

¹⁷ no violence is in my palms; and my prayer is pure. ¹⁸ O earth, cover not my blood that there be no place for my cry. ¹⁹ Also now, behold, my witness in the heavens; my witness in the heights.

²¹ O that one reprove for the mighty with Elohah as a son of humanity for his friend!

²⁷ Behold, I know the fabrications and intrigues you violate against me:

³ Who gives that I know - that I find him - that I come to his place! ⁴ O that I line up my judgment at his face and fill my mouth with reproofs. ⁵ O that I know the utterances he answers me and discern what he says to me. ⁶ Contends he against me with his abundant force? No; but he sets it in me. ⁷ There the straight reprove him; and in perpetuity, I slip away from my judge.

²⁰ I cry to you, and you answer me not; I stand, and you discern me not:

³⁵ Who gives that someone hear me! Behold, my mark! Shadday, answer me! Man of contention, scribe a scroll! ³⁶ If not, I lift it on my shoulder and fasten it to me as a crown.

⁵ For Iyob said, I am justified and El turned aside my judgment!

⁸ Break you my judgment? Judge you me wicked to justify yourself?

² O my Elohim, I call by day, and you answer not; and by night, and am not silent.

⁸ for I word enough; I call out; I cry violence and ravage; because of the word of Yah Veh is a reproach to me; and a ridicule, daily.

⁸ also when I cry and shout, he shuts out my prayer;
