¹⁴ They meet with darkness in the day and grope in the noonday as in the night.

²² He trusts not that he returns from darkness and he is watched by the sword.

Prospers it for work? ⁵ Behold, in being integrious, it works no work: How much less work works it when the fire consumes and scorches? ⁶ So thus says Adonay Yah Veh: As I give the vine tree among the trees of the forest as fire for fuel, thus I give the settlers of Yeru Shalem: ⁷ and I give my face against them; they come from the fire; and fire consumes them: and you know I - Yah Veh when I set my face against them:
