⁵ Thus says Yah Veh, Elohim of Yisra El; As these good figs, thus I acknowledge the exiles of Yah Hudah - whom I sent from this place into the land of the Kesediym for good:

¹⁶ who fed you in the wilderness with manna which your fathers knew not - to humble you and to test you - to well-please you at your latter end;

¹² Blithe - the mighty whom you discipline, O Yah; - whom you teach from your torah; ¹³ so that you rest him from the days of evil, until they dig the pit of ruin for the wicked. ¹⁴ For Yah Veh neither abandons his people nor forsakes his inheritance;

⁶⁷ Ere I humbled, I erred inadvertently; and now I guard your sayings:

⁷¹ it is good for me to be humbled - to learn your statutes:

⁷ Yah Veh is good, a strength in the day of tribulation; and he knows them who seek refuge in him.

⁹ and I bring the third through the fire and refine them as the refining of silver, and proof them as the proofing of gold: they call on my name, and I answer them: I say, My people: and they say, Yah Veh, My Elohim.

¹² And he answers, saying, Amen! I word to you, I know you not.

²⁷ My sheep hear my voice and I know them; and they follow me:

²⁸ And we know that all co-works to good to them who love Elohim, to them being the called according to his prothesis.

³ And if anyone loves Elohim, he knows this .

⁹ But now, knowing Elohim - or rather Elohim knowing us, how return you to the frail and poor elements, to which you uppermostly will to be in servitude?

¹⁹ But yet indeed the foundation of Elohim still stands solid - having this seal, Yah Veh knows who are his. And, Everyone who names the name of Messiah departs from injustice. ^{Nahum 1:7, John 10:14}

⁵ and you are utterly oblivious to the consolation which reasons to you as to sons, My son, neither disregard the discipline of Yah Veh, nor weaken when he reproves you: ⁶ for Yah Veh disciplines whom he loves and scourges every son he receives. ^{Proverbs 3:11, 12 7} If you endure discipline, Elohim offers you as with sons; for what son is there whom the father disciplines not? ⁸ And if you are apart from discipline, whereof all become partakers, then you are bastards and not sons. ⁹ So indeed we have fathers of our flesh who discipline us and we respect them: and not much rather subjugate to the Father of spirits and live? ¹⁰ For they indeed, for a few days, discipline after their well-thinking; but he for our benefit that we partake of his holiness.

¹⁹ As many as ever I befriend I reprove and discipline: so be zealous and repent.
