The burden of Gay Hizzayon/Valley of Vision: What ails you now - all of you that you ascend to the roofs?

¹⁰ For in this mountain the hand of Yah Veh rests; and Moab is threshed under him even as straw is threshed in the water of the dunghill:

³ and they say to him, Thus says Yechizqi Yah, This day is a day of tribulation and of rebuke and of scorning: for the sons come to the matrix and there is no strength to birth.

⁷ Ho! for that day is great; none like it: it is even the time of the tribulation of Yaaqov, but he is saved from it.

⁵ Her tribulators become her heads; her enemies serenify; for Yah Veh grieves her for the abundance of her rebellions; her infants are captured at the face of the tribulator:

² Adonay swallows all the folds of Yaaqov and spares not; in his fury he demolishes the fortresses of the daughter of Yah Hudah; he touches them to the earth; he profanes the sovereigndom and the governors;

⁸ And the bamahs of Aven, the sin of Yisra El, desolates: the thorn and the thistle ascend on their sacrifice altars; and they say to the mountains, Cover us! and to the hills, Fall on us!

¹⁸ Ho to you who desire the day of Yah Veh! To what end is it for you? The day of Yah Veh is darkness, and not light ¹⁹ - as a man flees the face of a lion and a bear meets him; or goes into the house and props his hand on the wall and a serpent bites him: ²⁰ Is not the day of Yah Veh darkness and not light? - even very dark with no brilliance therein?

⁴ Their best is as a thorn; straighter than a thorn hedge: the day of your watchers and your visitation comes - now their perplexity.

¹⁶ Then whoever is in Yah Hudah, flee to the mountains:

³⁰ Then they begin to word to the mountains, Fall on us; and to the hills, Veil us.
