⁴ my heart staggers; trembling frightens me: he sets the evening breeze of my pleasure to tremble me.

¹¹ They send forth their sucklings as a flock and their children dance; ¹² they lift the tambourine and harp and cheer at the voice of the woodwind; ¹³ they wear away - finish off their days in good; and in a blink, descend to sheol.

¹¹ Ho to them who start early in the morning to pursue intoxicants; who linger in the evening breeze until wine inflames them: ¹² and the harp and the bagpipe, the tambourine and pipe and wine are in their banquets: yes, they neither scan the deeds of Yah Veh nor see the work of his hands. ¹³ So my people are exiled, because they have no knowledge: and their honorable men are famished, and their multitude parched with thirst. ¹⁴ So sheol enlarges her soul and gapes her mouth without statute; and their glory and their multitude and their uproar: and he who jumps for joy, descends therein:

³⁹ In their heat, I place their banquets; and I intoxicate them so that they jump for joy and sleep an eternal sleep and waken not - an oracle of Yah Veh.

⁵⁷ and I intoxicate her governors and her wise - her governors and her prefects and her mighty: and they sleep an eternal sleep and waken not - an oracle of the Sovereign whose name is Yah Veh Sabaoth.

THE SCRIBING ON THE WALL
In the same blink digits of the hand of a man emerge, and inscribe in front of the menorah on the plaster of the wall of the manse of the sovereign: and the sovereign sees the palm of the hand that inscribes:

³⁰ In that night, Bel Shats Tsar the sovereign of the Kesediym is severed.

¹⁰ For while they entwine as thorns, and while they carouse as carousers, they are consumed as stubble fully dry.

³⁴ And heed to yourselves, lest ever your hearts burden with hangovers and intoxication and anxieties of existence, so that day stands by you unawares. ³⁵ For it comes as a snare on all who sit on the face of the whole earth. ³⁶ So stay awake and petition in every season that you be accounted worthy to escape all these that are about to become; and to stand in front of the Son of humanity.
