²⁶ This is the counsel counselled upon the whole earth: and this is the hand spread upon all the goyim.

¹² You spread your right; the earth swallows them:

²⁵ So Yah Veh kindles his wrath against his people; and spreads his hand against them and smites them: and the hills quake; and their carcase is as sweepings midst the outways. For all this, his wrath turns not away, and he still spreads his hand:

⁹ Yah Veh Sabaoth counsels it to profane the pomp of all splendour and to abase all the honorable of the earth.

⁶ I cut off the goyim; desolate their corners: I parch their outways so no one passes by: destroy their cities - without man; without settler. ⁷ I say, Only, awe me; you, take discipline that I not cut off your habitation from all I visit on her: but they rise early and ruin all their exploits. ⁸
THE JUDGMENT OF THE GOYIM
So await me - an oracle of Yah Veh until the day I rise to the prey: for my judgment is to gather goyim; to gather sovereigndoms; to pour my rage on them - all my fuming wrath: for I consume all the earth with the fire of my jealousy.
