¹ And he hears the words of the sons of Laban, saying, Yaaqov takes all our father has; yes, from what our father has, he works all this honor.

⁸ if he says thus, The branded are your hire; then all the flocks birth branded: and if he says thus, The ringstraked are your hire; then all the flocks birth ringstraked: ⁹ thus Elohim strips the chattel of your father and gives them to me.

¹³ and you tell my father of all my honor in Misrayim and of all you see; and hasten and descend my father here.

¹¹ and Haman scribes them of the honor of his riches and the abundance of his sons and all those wherein the sovereign greatens him; and how he lifts him above the governors and servants of the sovereign.

²⁴ If I set gold my hope or said to the ore, My confidence! ²⁵ if I cheer because my valuables are great and because my hand found much;

³¹ If not, men of my tent, say you, Who gives that we have of his flesh - we are not satisfied.

¹⁴ - from men by your hand, O Yah Veh - from transient men whose allotment is this life - in whose belly you treasured treasure: their sons satiate and leave the remainder to their infants.

¹⁶ Awe not when man enriches - when the honor of his house abounds: ¹⁷ for when he dies he takes naught; his honor descends not after him.

⁴ My soul is among roaring lions; and I lie among the inflamed - the sons of humanity whose teeth are spears and arrows and their tongue a sharp sword.

³ who pointen their tongue as a sword and aim their arrows, bitter words: ⁴ to shoot the integrious from the coverts; shoot suddenly, and not awe.

³ What gives he to you? What adds he to you, you deceitful tongue? ⁴ Pointened arrows of the mighty with coals of juniper. ⁵ Woe is me; I sojourn in Meshech; I dwell in the tents of Qedar!

³⁰ A heart of healing is the life of the flesh; and envy is the rottenness of the bones.

⁴ Fury is cruel and wrath overflows; and who is able to stand at the face of envy?

⁴ And I see all the toil and all the prosperity of work; that for this man envies friend; this is also vanity and gnawing of spirit.
