²⁸ and Haran dies at the face of his father Terach in the land of his kindred, in Ur of the Kesediym.

³¹ And Terach takes Abram his son and Lot the son of Haran the son of his son and Saray his daughter in law the woman of his son Abram; and they go with them from Ur of the Kesediym to go into the land of Kenaan; and they come to Haran and settle there.

⁷ And he says to him, I - Yah Veh who had you come from Ur of the Kesediym, to give you this land to possess.

⁷ You - Yah Veh Elohim, who chose Abram and brought him from Ur of the Kasdiy and set on him the name, Abraham;

² And he says, Men, brothers and fathers, hearken; the Elohim of glory appeared to our father Abraham being in Mesopotamia, ere he settled in Haran, ³ and said to him, You, go from your land and from your kindred; and come to the land I show you. ⁴ Then he comes from the land of the Kesediym and settles in Haran: and from there, after his father dies, he exiles him to this land wherein you now settle:
