THE TORAH ON DEBT RELEASE At the end of seven years, work a release

² When you chattelize a Hebrew servant, he serves six years: and in the seventh he goes out gratuitously liberated.

¹⁰ And six years seed your land and gather in the produce thereof: ¹¹ but the seventh, release it and leave it alone for the needy of your people to eat: and the remainder, the live beings of the field to eat. In like manner work with your vineyard and with your olives.

² Word to the sons of Yisra El and say to them, When you come to the land I give you, shabbathize the land - a shabbath to Yah Veh. ³ Six years seed your field and six years pluck your vineyard and gather in the produce thereof; ⁴ and the seventh year becomes a shabbath - a shabbathism to the land; a shabbath to Yah Veh: neither seed your field nor pluck your vineyard:

And Baruch the son of Neri Yah takes the roll in his hand, and comes to them: ¹⁵ and they say to him, Sit down, I beseech, and call it out in our ears. - and Baruch calls it out in their ears. ¹⁶ And so be it, they hear all the words, and man and friend fear; and say to Baruch, In telling, we tell all these words to the sovereign. ¹⁷ And they ask Baruch, saying, Tell us, I beseech, How inscribed you all these words at his mouth? ¹⁸ Then Baruch says to them, He called out all these words to me with his mouth and I inscribed with ink in the scroll.

¹⁸ Spirit of Yah Veh is upon me, because he anoints me to evangelize the poor; he apostolizes me to heal the crushed in heart; to preach forgiveness to the captives and sight to the blind; to apostolize the crushed in forgiveness; ¹⁹ to preach the acceptable year of Yah Veh. ^{Isaiah 61:1, 2}
