THE BURDEN OF BABEL
The burden of Babel Yesha Yah the son of Amos saw: 2 You, lift an ensign upon the barren mountain; exalt the voice to them; shake the hand, so that they go into the portals of the volunteers. 3 I misvah my hallowed; I also call my mighty for my wrath - those jumping for joy in my pomp. 4 The voice of a multitude in the mountains, in the likeness of a great people; an uproar of noise of the sovereigndoms of goyim who gather: Yah Veh Sabaoth musters the host of the war: 5 they come from a land afar - from the end of the heavens - Yah Veh and the instruments of his rage to despoil the whole land. 6 You, howl! for the day of Yah Veh approaches; it comes as a ravage from Shadday. 7 So all hands slacken and every heart of man melts; 8 and they terrify: pains and pangs take hold of them; they writhe as a woman birthing: every man marvels at friend - their faces as flames. 9 Behold, the day of Yah Veh comes - cruel - with both wrath and fuming wrath to set the land desolate: and he desolates the sinners from it. 10 For the stars of the heavens and kesil halal not their light: the sun darkens in its going, and the moon illuminates not its light. 11 And I visit the world for their evil and the wicked for their perversity; and I cause the pomp of the arrogant to shabbathize; and abase the pomp of the tyrant. 12 I esteem a man more precious than pure gold; and humanity more than the ore of Ophir. 13 So I quake the heavens and quake the earth from her place in the wrath of Yah Veh Sabaoth and in the day of his fuming wrath. 14 And so be it, as the driven gazelle and as a flock, no one gathers: every man faces his own people and every man flees to his own land:

THE BURDEN OF BABEL
The burden of the wilderness of the sea: As hurricanes in the south pass through; thus it comes from the wilderness - from an awesome land. 2 I am told a hard vision: the coverter coverts and the ravager ravages. Ascend, O Elam! Besiege, O Maday! I shabbathize all its sighing. 3 So my loins fill with pain: pangs hold me as pangs of a woman birthing: I twist at hearing; I terrify at seeing: 4 my heart staggers; trembling frightens me: he sets the evening breeze of my pleasure to tremble me. 5 Arrange the table! Watch in the watchtower! Eat! Drink! Arise, you governors! Anoint the buckler! 6 For Adonay says thus to me, Go, stand a watcher; to tell what he sees. 7 And he sees a chariot with a pair of cavalry, a chariot of burros, a chariot of camels; and in hearkening, he hearkens: 8 and he calls out, A lion! Adonay, I stand continually on the watchtower in the day and I station in my guard whole nights: 9 and, behold, a chariot of men comes with a pair of cavalry: and he answers and says, Fallen! Babel - fallen! and he breaks all the sculptiles of her elohim to the earth. 10 O my threshing, and the sons of my threshingfloor: whatever I heard from Yah Veh Sabaoth, Elohim of Yisra El, I tell you.

THE FALL OF BABEL
Descend, and sit in the dust; O virgin daughter of Babel, sit on the earth; there is no throne, O daughter of the Kesediym: for you add not to be called tender and delicate. 2 Take the millstones and grind flour; expose your veil; strip the train; expose the leg; pass over the rivers. 3 Your nakedness is exposed, yes, your reproach is seen: I take avengement, and I meet you not as a human. 4 Our redeemer - Yah Veh Sabaoth is his name - the Holy One of Yisra El. 5 Sit silent, and get into darkness, O daughter of the Kesediym: for they no more call you, The lady of sovereigndoms. 6 I enrage over my people; I profane my inheritance; and give them into your hand: you set them no mercies; you make your yoke on the aged mighty heavy. 7 And you say, I am a lady eternally: so that you neither set these to your heart nor rememer the latter end thereof. 8 And now hear this, you voluptuous one, who settles confidently; who says in your heart, I - final; I neither sit a widow, nor know bereavement. 9 And these two come to you in a blink in one day - bereavement and widowhood: they come on you in their integrity for the abundance of your sorceries, and for the mighty might of your charms: 10 for you confide in your evil: you say, No one sees me. Your wisdom and your knowledge turn you away; and you say in your heart, I - the final. 11 And evil comes on you; you know not the dawn thereof: and calamity falls on you; you are not able to kapar/atone: and devastation comes on you suddenly which you know not. 12 Stand, I beseech, with your charms and with the abundance of your sorceries wherein you labored from your youth; if perhaps you benefit; if perhaps you terrify. 13 You weary in the abundance of your counsels. I beseech you, have the horoscopists of the heavens, the seers of stars, the knowers of months stand up and save you from these that come on you. 14 Behold, they are as stubble; the fire burns them; they rescue not their souls from the hand of the flame: there is neither coal to heat, nor flame to sit in front of. 15 Thus are they with whom you labored to you - your merchants, from your youth: they wander every man beyond; your saviour is not.

Jeremiah 25:11-12
11 and this whole land becomes a parched area and a desolation; and these goyim serve the sovereign of Babel seventy years:
12 and so be it, when seventy years fulfill, I visit on the sovereign of Babel and that goyim - an oracle of Yah Veh for their perversity - and the land of the Kesediym and set it eternal desolations:

MESSAGE AGAINST BABEL
The word Yah Veh words against Babel and against the land of the Kesediym by the hand of Yirme Yah the prophet. 2 Tell you among the goyim and have them hear; and lift an ensign: have them hear; and conceal not: say, Babel is captured, Bel is shamed, Merodach is broken: her idols are shamed; her idols are broken. 3 For from the north a goyim ascends against her who places her land desolate; and no one settles therein: they wander; they depart; - both humanity and animal. 4 In those days, and in that time, - an oracle of Yah Veh the sons of Yisra El come - they and the sons of Yah Hudah together coming and weeping: they come and seek Yah Veh their Elohim: 5 they ask the way to Siyon with their faces toward, Come; we join ourselves to Yah Veh in an eternal covenant, not forgotten. 6 My people became lost flocks their tenders strayed them, they apostatized them on the mountains: going from mountain to hill they forgot their repose. 7 All who find them devour them: and their tribulators say, We guilt not! - because they sinned against Yah Veh the habitation of rest of justness; - Yah Veh, the expectation of their fathers. 8 Wander from the midst of Babel and come from the land of the Kesediym; and be as the he goats at the face of the flocks. 9 For, behold, I waken and against Babel I ascend a congregation of great goyim from the north land: and they line up against her; from thence they capture her: their arrows as of a mighty discerner; no one returns in vain. 10 And Kesediym becomes a spoil: all who spoil her satiate - an oracle of Yah Veh 11 because you cheer - because you jump for joy O you plunderers of my inheritance, because you grow fat as the heifer at grass and resound as the mighty; 12 your mother shames mightily; she who birthed you blushes: behold, the backword of the goyim are a wilderness, a parch, and a plain: 13 because of the rage of Yah Veh it is not settled and becomes wholly desolate: every one who passes by Babel astonishes and hisses at all her wounds. 14 Line up against Babel, all around - all you who bend the bow: hand toss at her; spare no arrows: for she sinned against Yah Veh. 15 Shout against her all around: she gives her hand: her foundations fallen; her walls overthrown: for it is the avengement of Yah Veh: avenge on her; as she worked, work to her: 16 cut off the seeder from Babel; and he who manipulates the sickle in the time of harvest: at the face of the oppressing sword; every man faces to his people, and every man flees to his own land. 17 Yisra El is a scattered lamb; the lions drive him away: first the sovereign of Ashshur devours him; and last this Nebukadnets Tsar sovereign of Babel craunches his bones. 18 So thus says Yah Veh Sabaoth Elohim of Yisra El; Behold, I visit on the sovereign of Babel and his land, as I visited on the sovereign of Ashshur: 19 and I return Yisra El to his habitation of rest, and he tends on Karmel/orchard and Bashan, and his soul satiates on mount Ephrayim and Gilad. 20 In those days, and in that time, - an oracle of Yah Veh they seek the perversity of Yisra El, and there is none; and the sins of Yah Hudah, and they find them not: for I forgive them whom I leave remaining. 21 Ascend against the land of Merathayim, - against it, and against the settlers of Peqod: parch and devote after them - an oracle of Yah Veh and work according to all I misvahed you. 22 A voice of war is in the land, and of great breaking. 23 How the hammer of the whole earth is cut apart and broken! How Babel becomes a desolation among the goyim! 24 I lay a snare for you, and also capture you, O Babel, and you know not: you are found out and also apprehended because you throttled against Yah Veh. 25 Yah Veh opens his treasury and brings forth the instruments of his rage: for this is the work of Adonay Yah Veh Sabaoth in the land of the Kesediym. 26 Come against her from the end; open her granaries: raise her as heaps and devote her that there be no survivors: 27 parch all her bullocks; descend them to the slaughter. Ho to them! for their day is come - the time of their visitation. 28 The voice of them who flee and escape from the land of Babel, to tell in Siyon the avengement of Yah Veh our Elohim - the avengement of his manse. 29 Hearken the archers against Babel all you who bend the bow: encamp against it all around; that there be no escapees: shalam her according to her deeds; work to her according to all she worked: for she is proud against Yah Veh - against the Holy One of Yisra El. 30 So fell her youths in the broadways and sever all her men of war in that day - an oracle of Yah Veh. 31 Behold, I am against you, O Arrogance! - an oracle of Adonay Yah Veh Sabaoth for your day is come - to visit you: 32 and the arrogant to falter and fall with no one to raise him: and I kindle a fire in his cities, and it consumes all all around him. 33 Thus says Yah Veh Sabaoth; The sons of Yisra El and the sons of Yah Hudah are oppressed: and all who capture them hold them; they refuse to send them away. 34 Their Redeemer is strong; Yah Veh Sabaoth is his name: in pleading, he pleads their plea - to rest the land and quake the settlers of Babel. 35 A sword is on the Kesediym - an oracle of Yah Veh and on the settlers of Babel and on her governors and on her wise: 36 a sword is on their lies and they folly; a sword is on her mighty and they dismay; 37 a sword is on their horses and on their chariots and on all the comingled among her; and they become as women: a sword is on her treasures and they are plundered; 38 a parch is on her waters and they dry up; for it is the land of sculptiles and they halal bugaboos: 39 so the desert dwellers settle there with the island howlers; and the daughters of the owls settle therein: and it is neither settled any more in perpetuity; nor tabernacled in from generation to generation. 40 As Elohim overthrew Sedom and Amorah and the nearby tabernacles - an oracle of Yah Veh thus neither man settles there, nor any son of humanity sojourns therein. 41 Behold, a people come from the north even a great goyim, and many sovereigns waken from the flanks of the earth: 42 they hold the bow and the dart; they are cruel, and mercy not: their voice roars as the sea and they ride on horses - lined up against you, O daughter of Babel, as a man to the war. 43 The sovereign of Babel hears their report and he slackens his hands: tribulation takes hold of him and pangs as in birthing. 44 Behold, he ascends as a lion from the pomp of Yarden to the habitation of rest of the perennial: but I, in a blink, run them away from her. And who is chosen? I appoint over her! For who is like me? And who congregates with me? And who is that tender who stands at my face? 45 So hear the counsel Yah Veh counsels against Babel; and the fabrications he fabricates against the land of the Kesediym: surely the lesser of the flock drag them out: surely he desolates their habitation of rest with them. 46 At the voice of the apprehending of Babel the earth quakes; and the cry is heard among the goyim.
