⁴⁹ Yah Veh lifts a goyim against you from afar - from the end of the earth, as the eagle flies; a goyim whose tongue you hear not; ⁵⁰ a goyim strong of face who neither exalts the face of the aged nor grants charism to the lads:

²³ And he digs great provision for them: and they eat and drink; and he sends them away to go to their adoni: and the troops of Aram add not to come into the land of Yisra El.

THE DEATH OF ELI SHUA
And Eli Shua dies and they entomb him: and the troops of the Moabiy invade the land at the coming in of the year: ²¹ and so be it, as they entomb a man, behold, they see a troop; and they cast the man into the tomb of Eli Shua: and when the man descends and touches the bones of Eli Shua, he enlivens and rises on his feet.

¹⁷ Behold, the days come, that all in your house which your fathers treasure to this day, is lifted to Babel - no word remains, says Yah Veh.

¹² so thus says Yah Veh Elohim of Yisra El: Behold, I bring evil on Yeru Shalem and Yah Hudah that whoever hears of it, both his ears tingle: ¹³ and over Yeru Shalem I spread the line of Shomeron and the plumb line of the house of Ach Ab: and I wipe Yeru Shalem - wipe as wiping a bowl, and turn it to descend on its face: ¹⁴ and I abandon the survivors of my inheritance and give them into the hand of their enemies; to become a plunder - a plunder to all their enemies

²⁷ And Yah Veh says, I also turn aside Yah Hudah from my face, as I turned aside Yisra El, and spurn this city Yeru Shalem which I chose, and the house of which I said, My name is there.

¹¹ and Yah Veh brings on them the governors of the host of the sovereign of Ashshur who capture Menash Sheh among the thorns and bind him with copper and walk him to Babel:

¹⁷ While he is yet wording, another also comes and says, The Kesediym set out three heads and stripped the camels and took them away; yes, and smote the servants with the mouth of the sword; and I - I only escaped alone to tell you.

¹¹ Then I say, Adonay, until when? And he says, Until the cities waste away without settler, and the houses without humanity, and the soil wastes - a desolation; ¹² and Yah Veh removes humanity far off, with a great forsaking midst the land.

¹⁷ Yah Veh brings upon you and upon your people and upon the house of your father, days such as came not - even from the day Ephrayim turned aside from Yah Hudah by the sovereign of Ashshur.

⁵ they come from a land afar - from the end of the heavens - Yah Veh and the instruments of his rage to despoil the whole land.

⁹ Behold, I send and take all the families of the north - an oracle of Yah Veh and Nebukadnets Tsar sovereign of Babel my servant - and bring them against this land and against the settlers and against all these goyim all around; and devote them and set them a desolation and a hissing; and eternal parched areas:

⁶ then I give this house as Shiloh and give this city for an abasement to all the goyim of the earth.

²⁰ And also, so be a man who prophesied in the name of Yah Veh - Uri Yah the son of Shema Yah of Qiryath Arim who prophesied against this city and against this land according to all the words of Yirme Yah:

²⁸ So thus says Yah Veh: Behold, I give this city into the hand of the Kesediym, and into the hand of Nebukadnets Tsar sovereign of Babel; and he takes it:

¹¹ And so be it, Nebukadnets Tsar sovereign of Babel ascends into the land, and we say, Come, we go to Yeru Shalem from the face of the valiant of the Kesediym, and from the face of the valiant of the Aramiym: thus we settle at Yeru Shalem.

⁸ And the goyim give against him from all around the jurisdictions; and spread their net over him: and apprehend him in their pit of ruin:

¹² So because of you Siyon is plowed as a field and Yeru Shalem becomes heaps; and the mountain of the house as the bamahs of the forest.
