⁸ and David rises afterward and goes from the cave and calls out after Shaul, saying, My adoni the sovereign! Shaul looks behind him and David bows with his nostrils to the earth and prostrates:

³ And Abram falls on his face: and Elohim words with him, saying,

¹² Honor your father and your mother: that your days be prolonged on the soil which Yah Veh your Elohim gives you.

⁴¹ And as soon as the lad goes, David rises from beside the south and falls on his nostrils to the earth and prostrates himself three times: and they kiss man to friend and weep man to friend, until David greatens.

²³ And Abi Gail sees David, and she hastens and descends off the he burro and falls on her face at the nostrils of David; and prostrates herself to the earth ²⁴ and falls at his feet and says, On me, my adoni, this perversity: and may your maid, I beseech you, word in your ears; hear the words of your maid:

¹⁷ And Shaul recognizes the voice of David and says, Is this your voice, my son David? And David says, My voice, my adoni, O sovereign!

⁷ So give to all their dues: to whom tribute, tribute; to whom completion/shalom, completion/shalom; to whom awe, awe; to whom honor, honor.
