And Satan stands against Yisra El and goads David to number Yisra El: ² and David says to Yah Ab and to the governors of the people, Go, number and scribe Yisra El from Beer Sheba even to Dan; and bring the number of them to me, so I know. ³ And Yah Ab says, Yah Veh adds to his people a hundred times: but, my adoni sovereign, are they not all servants of my adoni? Why seeks my adoni this? Why becomes he a guilt to Yisra El? ⁴ And the word of the sovereign prevails against Yah Ab: and Yah Ab goes - goes through all Yisra El and comes to Yeru Shalem: ⁵ and Yah Ab gives the number of the census of the people to David: and all Yisra El is a thousand thousand and a hundred thousand men who draw sword: and Yah Hudah is four hundred seventy thousand men who draw sword: ⁶ and he musters not Levi and Ben Yamin among them: for the word of the sovereign is abhorrent to Yah Ab: ⁷ and this word is evil in the eyes of Elohim; and he smites Yisra El. ⁸ And David says to Elohim, I sinned mightily in working this word: and now, I beseech you, pass over the perversity of your servant; for I follied mightily. ⁹ And Yah Veh words to Gad the seer of David, saying, ¹⁰ Go and word to David, saying, Thus says Yah Veh: I spread these three to you: choose one of these, for me to work to you. ¹¹ And Gad comes to David and says to him, Thus says Yah Veh: Take to you ¹² - either three years famine; - or three months to be scraped away at the face of your tribulators as the sword of your enemies overtakes you; - or three days of the sword of Yah Veh even the pestilence in the land and the angel of Yah Veh ruining throughout all the borders of Yisra El: and now see, What word return I to him who sends me? ¹³ And David says to Gad, I am mighty tribulated: Let me fall, I pray you, into the hand of Yah Veh; for mighty many are his mercies: but that I not fall into the hand of humanity. ¹⁴ So Yah Veh gives pestilence on Yisra El: and there fall seventy thousand men of Yisra El: ¹⁵ and Elohim sends an angel to ruin Yeru Shalem: and as he ruins, Yah Veh sees and he sighs concerning the evil; and says to the angel who ruins, Enough now! Slacken your hand! And the angel of Yah Veh stands by the threshingfloor of Ornan the Yebusiy: ¹⁶ and David lifts his eyes and sees the angel of Yah Veh stand between the earth and between the heavens, with his sword drawn in his hand spread over Yeru Shalem. - and David and the elders cover in saq and fall on their faces. ¹⁷ And David says to Elohim, Said I not to number the people? Yes, I who sins? Who in vilifying, vilifies? And as for this flock, what worked they? Let your hand, I beseech you, O Yah Veh my Elohim, be on me and on the house of my father; but not on your people, to plague them. ¹⁸ And the angel of Yah Veh says to Gad to say to David, that David ascend and raise a sacrifice altar to Yah Veh in the threshingfloor of Ornan the Yebusiy. ¹⁹ And David ascends at the word Gad words in the name of Yah Veh: ²⁰ and Ornan turns back and sees the angel; and his four sons with him hide themselves: and Ornan threshes wheat: ²¹ and David comes to Ornan; and Ornan looks and sees David and goes from the threshingfloor and bows himself to David with his nostrils to the earth. ²² And David says to Ornan, Give me the place of the threshingfloor to build a sacrifice altar therein to Yah Veh - give it me for the full silver: to restrain the plague from the people. ²³ And Ornan says to David, Take it to yourself and may my adoni the sovereign work what is good in his eyes: see, I give you the oxen for holocausts and the threshing sledges for timber and the wheat for the offering - I give all. ²⁴ And sovereign David says to Ornan, No; but in chatteling, I chattel it for the full silver: for neither lift I what is yours for Yah Veh, nor holocaust holocausts gratuitously. ²⁵ And David gives Ornan six hundred shekels of gold by weight for the place: ²⁶ and there David builds a sacrifice altar to Yah Veh and holocausted holocausts and shelamim; and calls on Yah Veh. - and he answers him from the heavens by fire on the sacrifice altar of holocaust. ²⁷ And Yah Veh says to the angel; and he turns his sword back into its sheath: ²⁸ at that time David sees that Yah Veh answers him in the threshingfloor of Ornan the Yebusiy: and he sacrifices there. ²⁹ And the tabernacle of Yah Veh, Mosheh worked in the wilderness and the sacrifice altar of the holocaust, are at that time in the bamah at Gibon: ³⁰ and David cannot go at its face to enquire of Elohim because he is frightened of the face of the sword of the angel of Yah Veh.

DAVID MUSTERS YISRA EL
And Yah Veh adds to kindle his wrath against Yisra El; and he goads David against them to say, Go, number Yisra El and Yah Hudah. ² And the sovereign says to Yah Ab the governor of the valiant host with him, Flit now through all the scions of Yisra El from Dan even to Beer Sheba; and number the people so that I know the number of the people. ³ And Yah Ab says to the sovereign, Yes, Yah Veh your Elohim adds to the people - as many as ever they be, a hundred times that the eyes of my adoni the sovereign see. But why delights my adoni the sovereign in this word? ⁴ And the word of the sovereign prevails against Yah Ab and against the governors of the valiant: and Yah Ab and the governors of the valiant go from the face of the sovereign to muster the people of Yisra El: ⁵ and they pass over Yarden and encamp in Aroer, on the right side of the city midst the wadi of Gad and toward Yazer: ⁶ and they come to Gilad and to the land of Tahtim Hodshi; and they come to Dan Yaan and around to Sidon; ⁷ and come to the fortress of Sor and to all the cities of the Hivviy and of the Kenaaniy; and they go to the south of Yah Hudah to Beer Sheba. ⁸ And they flit through all the land: and at the end of nine months and twenty days they come to Yeru Shalem: ⁹ and Yah Ab gives up the number of the census of the people to the sovereign: and there are of Yisra El eight hundred thousand valiant who draw the sword; and the men of Yah Hudah five hundred thousand men. ¹⁰ And after he scribes the people the heart of David is smitten: and David says to Yah Veh, I sinned mightily in what I worked: and now, I beseech you, O Yah Veh, pass over the perversity of your servant; for I follied mightily. ¹¹ And David rises in the morning, and the word of Yah Veh comes to the prophet Gad, the seer of David, saying, ¹² Go and word to David, Thus says Yah Veh, I lift you these three: choose which one to work to you. ¹³ And Gad comes to David and tells him and says to him, Come seven years of famine to you in your land? Or flee you three months from the face of your tribulators while they pursue you? Or have three days pestilence in your land? now perceive and see which word I return to him who sends me. ¹⁴ And David says to Gad, I tribulate mightily: may we fall now into the hand of Yah Veh - for his mercies are many: and may I not fall to the hand of humanity. ¹⁵ And Yah Veh gives a pestilence on Yisra El from the morning even to the time of season: and seventy thousand men of the people die from Dan even to Beer Sheba. ¹⁶ And the angel spreads his hand on Yeru Shalem to ruin it; and Yah Veh sighs of the evil; and says to the angel who ruined the people, Enough! Slacken now your hand. - and the angel of Yah Veh is by the threshingplace of Aravnah the Yebusiy. ¹⁷ And David says to Yah Veh when he sees the angel who smites the people and says, Behold, I sinned and I perverted: but these flock, what worked they? O that your hand, I pray you, be against me and against the house of my father. ¹⁸ And that day Gad comes to David and says to him, Ascend! Raise a sacrifice altar to Yah Veh in the threshingfloor of Aravnah the Yebusiy. ¹⁹ And David ascends according to the word of Gad as Yah Veh misvahed: ²⁰ and Aravnah looks and sees the sovereign and his servants passing toward him: and Aravnah goes out and prostrates himself to the sovereign on his nostrils on the earth: ²¹ and Aravnah says, Why comes my adoni the sovereign to his servant? And David says, To chattel your threshingfloor; to build a sacrifice altar to Yah Veh to restrain the plague from the people. ²² And Aravnah says to David, O that my adoni the sovereign take and holocaust whatever is good in his eyes: see - oxen for holocaust and threshing sledges and instruments of the oxen for timber. ²³ Aravnah gives all these - sovereign to sovereign: and Aravnah says to the sovereign, Yah Veh your Elohim is pleased of you. ²⁴ And the sovereign says to Aravnah, No: but in chatteling, I chattel it from you at a price: I holocaust no holocausts to Yah Veh my Elohim of what is gratuitous. - and David chattels the threshingfloor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver. ²⁵ And there David builds a sacrifice altar to Yah Veh and holocausts holocausts and shelamim: and Yah Veh is intreated for the land and the plague is restrained from Yisra El.

²⁰ And Yah Veh says, Who entices Ach Ab to ascend and fall at Ramoth Gilad? And this one says thus; and that one says thus: ²¹ and a spirit goes and stands at the face of Yah Veh and says, I entice him. ²² And Yah Veh says to him, How? And he says, I go and I become a false spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he says, Entice him and also prevail: Go! Work thus!

THE FIRST CHALLENGE OF SATAN
And so be it, a day arrives when the sons of Elohim come to station themselves by Yah Veh; and Satan also comes in their midst. ⁷ And Yah Veh says to Satan, Whence come you? And Satan answers Yah Veh and says, From flitting to and fro in the earth and from walking forth and back in it. ⁸ And Yah Veh says to Satan, Have you set your heart on my servant Iyob, that there is none like him in the earth? - an integrious and straight man, one who awes Elohim and turns aside from evil? ⁹ And Satan answers Yah Veh and says, Iyob, fears he Elohim gratuitously? ¹⁰ Make you not a hedge about him and throughout his house and throughout all he has all around? You bless the work of his hands and his chattel break forth in the land. ¹¹ And yet, spread your hand, I beseech, and touch all that he has, whether he blesses you to your face. ¹² And Yah Veh says to Satan, Behold, all he has is in your hand; only spread not your hand on his self. - and Satan goes from the face of Yah Veh.

THE SECOND CHALLENGE OF SATAN
And so be it, the day the sons of Elohim come to station themselves by Yah Veh; and Satan also comes among them to station himself by Yah Veh.

⁴ And Satan answers Yah Veh and says, Skin for skin; yes, all a man has he gives for his soul; ⁵ but spread your hand, I beseech and touch his bone and his flesh, whether he blesses you to your face. ⁶ And Yah Veh says to Satan, Behold, he is in your hand; but guard his soul.

YAH SHUA THE GREAT PRIEST
And he shows me Yah Shua the great priest standing at the face of the angel of Yah Veh; and Satan standing at his right to oppose him.

³ And the tester comes to him, and says, If you are the Son of Elohim, say that these stones become bread.

⁵³ And as he words these to them, the scribes and the Pharisees begin to begrudge him excessively and to provoke him to instruct about much

YAH SHUA PURIFIES THE FEET OF THE DISCIPLES
And being supper; Diabolos having already put into the heart of Yah Hudah the urbanite the son of Shimon to betray him;

³ But Petros says, Hanan Yah, why has Satan filled/shalamed your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit, to keep back of the price of the parcel?

²⁴ And consider one another - to agitate to love and to good works:

¹³ Word not, when tested, Because I am tested of Elohim: for Elohim is neither tested with evil nor tests anyone:

VICTORY IN THE HEAVENS
And I hear a mega voice in the heavens, wording, Now becomes salvation and dynamis and the sovereigndom of our Elohim and the authority of his the Messiah: because the accuser of our brothers is cast down - who accused them in sight of our Elohim day and night.

¹³ and when your oxen and your flocks abound and your silver and your gold abound and all you have abounds; ¹⁴ and your heart lifts and you forget Yah Veh your Elohim who brought you from the land of Misrayim from the house of servants: ¹⁵ who carried you through that great and awesome wilderness of seraph serpents and scorpions and thirst - where there was no water: who brought water from the rock of flint; ¹⁶ who fed you in the wilderness with manna which your fathers knew not - to humble you and to test you - to well-please you at your latter end; ¹⁷ and you said in your heart, My force and the might of my hand worked me this valour.

THE SONS OF YISRA EL ATTACK THE SONS OF BEN YAMIN
And all the sons of Yisra El go out and the witness congregates as one man - from Dan even to Beer Sheba with the land of Gilad to Yah Veh in Mispeh:

²⁰ And all Yisra El from Dan even to Beer Sheba knows Shemu El as a trustworthy prophet of Yah Veh:

¹⁰ - to pass the sovereigndom from the house of Shaul and to raise the throne of David over Yisra El and over Yah Hudah from Dan even to Beer Sheba.

¹¹ So I counsel, that in gathering, all Yisra El gathers to you - from Dan even to Beer Sheba, as the sand by the sea for abundance; and that you go to war by yourself:

²⁵ and Yah Hudah and Yisra El settle confidently every man under his vine and under his fig tree from Dan even to Beer Sheba all the days of Shelomoh:

²³ And David spares not to number them - sons of twenty years and downward: because Yah Veh says he abounds Yisra El as the stars of the heavens. ²⁴ Yah Ab the son of Seruyah begins to number, but finishes not, for a rage falls against Yisra El; and the number ascends not in the account of the words of the days of sovereign David.

⁵ and they stand a word to pass the voice throughout all Yisra El - from Beer Sheba even to Dan to come to work the pasach to Yah Veh Elohim of Yisra El at Yeru Shalem: for they had not worked it in abundance in such sort as inscribed.

²⁵ and Yechizqi Yah returns not according as he was dealt; for his heart lifts: and there is rage on him and on Yah Hudah and Yeru Shalem: ²⁶ and Yechizqi Yah humbles himself for the haughtiness of his heart - he and the settlers of Yeru Shalem; so that the rage of Yah Veh comes not on them in the days of Yechizqi Yah:

²³ The pomp of humanity abases; and honor upholds the abased in spirit.

THE THORN OF PAULOS
And lest I be superciliously exalted through the excellence of the apocalypses, I was given a thorn in the flesh - an angel of Satan to punch me, lest I be superciliously exalted. ^{Numbers 33:55, Joshua 23:13, Judges 2:3, Ezekiel El 28:24, Nahum 1:10}

⁹ and Abi Melech calls Abraham and says to him, What work you unto us? And what sin I against you, that you bring a great sin on me and on my sovereigndom? you work works unto me that ought not to be worked.

²¹ And Mosheh says to Aharon, What work this people to you, that you bring so great a sin on them?

⁹ and they ascended to the wadi of Eshcol and saw the land and discouraged the heart of the sons of Yisra El, to not go into the land Yah Veh gave them. ¹⁰ And Yah Veh kindled his wrath that day, and oathed, saying,

¹¹ Yah Veh Elohim of your fathers added to you a thousand times as many as you are, and blessed you, as he worded you!

²⁴ No, my sons; for it is no good report that I hear: you cause the people of Yah Veh to trespass.

¹⁶ and he gives up Yisra El because of the sins Yarob Am sins - who had Yisra El sin.

¹³ Strengthen! Toughen! - for our people and for the cities of our Elohim: O that Yah Veh work good in his eyes.

¹⁴ Yah Veh increases you - you and your sons

²⁸ In the abundance of people is the majesty of the sovereign; and in the finality of nations is the ruin of the potentate.

¹⁵ You increased the goyim, O Yah Veh, you increased the goyim: you are honored: you removed it afar to all the ends of the earth.

¹⁹ and your seed as the sand; and the offspring of your inwards as the belly; and his name, neither cut off nor destroyed from my face.

¹⁷ But the accoucheuses awe Elohim and work not as the sovereign of Misrayim words; but preserve the children alive.

³ And Yah Ab says to the sovereign, Yes, Yah Veh your Elohim adds to the people - as many as ever they be, a hundred times that the eyes of my adoni the sovereign see. ⁴⁷ But the Leviym by the rod of their fathers mustered not among them: ⁴⁸ for Yah Veh worded unto Mosheh, saying, ⁴⁹ Neither muster the rod of Levi, nor lift their heads among the sons of Yisra El:

Know you not that they shoot from the wall? ²¹ Who smote Abi Melech the son of Yerub Besheth? Cast not a woman a slice of an upper millstone on him from the wall, that he died in Tebes? Why approached you the wall? - then you say, Your servant Uri Yah the Hethiy also died.

⁹ And Yah Ab says to Amasa, Are you in shalom, my brother? - and Yah Ab holds Amasa by the beard with his right to kiss him. ¹⁰ And Amasa regards not the sword in the hand of Yah Ab: and he smites him therewith in the fifth and pours his inwards to the earth and repeats it not; and he dies: and Yah Ab and Abi Shai his brother pursue after Sheba the son of Bichri.

²⁴ Yah Ab the son of Seruyah begins to number, but finishes not, for a rage falls against Yisra El; and the number ascends not in the account of the words of the days of sovereign David.

THE TREASON OF ACHAN But the sons of Yisra El treason a treason in the devotement: for Achan the son of Karmi the son of Zabdi the son of Zerach of the rod of Yah Hudah takes of the devotement: and Yah Veh kindles his wrath against the sons of Yisra El.

⁵ and the men of Ay smite about thirty-six of their men: for they pursue them from the face of the portal to Shebarim; and smite them in the descent: and the hearts of the people melt and become as water.

¹³ Rise, hallow the people, and say, Hallow yourselves against tomorrow: for thus says Yah Veh Elohim of Yisra El, A devotement is in your midst, O Yisra El: you cannot rise at the face of your enemies, until you turn aside the devotement among you.

¹⁶ Thus says the whole witness of Yah Veh, What is this treason you treason against Elohim of Yisra El - to turn away this day from after Yah Veh by building a sacrifice altar - to rebel this day against Yah Veh? ¹⁷ Is the perversity of Peor too little for us from which we are not purified until this day - a plague in the witness of Yah Veh ¹⁸ to turn away this day from after Yah Veh? And so be it, today you rebel against Yah Veh; and tomorrow he enrages with the whole witness of Yisra El. ¹⁹ Surely, if the land of your possession is foul, pass over to the land of the possession of Yah Veh - wherein the tabernacle of Yah Veh tabernacles; and take possession among us: but neither rebel against Yah Veh nor rebel against us by building a sacrifice altar except the sacrifice altar of Yah Veh our Elohim. ²⁰ Treasoned not Achan the son of Zerach a treason in the devotement - and rage fell on all the witness of Yisra El? and that man expired not alone in his perversity. ²¹ And the sons of Reu Ben and the sons of Gad and the half scion of Menash Sheh answer and word to the heads of the thousands of Yisra El, ²² El of elohim - Yah Veh El of elohim - Yah Veh - he knows - and Yisra El he knows - if in rebellion - if in treason against Yah Veh you save us not this day ²³ - if we build us a sacrifice altar to turn from after Yah Veh, - if to holocaust a holocaust or offering - if to work shelamim thereon Yah Veh himself beseeches. ²⁴ And if we work not concerning this word, saying, Tomorrow your sons say to our sons, saying, What have you to do with Yah Veh Elohim of Yisra El? ²⁵ for Yah Veh gave Yarden for a border between us and between you, you sons of Reu Ben and sons of Gad; you have no allotment in Yah Veh: thus your sons cause our sons to cease by not awing Yah Veh. ²⁶ So we say, We now work to build us a sacrifice altar, neither for holocaust nor for sacrifice:

²⁷ and the mourning passes, and David sends and gathers her to his house; and she becomes his woman and births him a son: and the word David works is evil in the eyes of Yah Veh.

REVENGE OF THE GIBONIY
And there is a famine in the days of David - three years - year after year; and David seeks the face of Yah Veh. And Yah Veh says, It is for Shaul and for the bloody house, because he deathified the Giboniy.

¹⁴ and they entomb the bones of Shaul and Yah Nathan his son in the land of Ben Yamin in Sela in the tomb of Qish his father: and they perform all the sovereign misvahs: and after they intreat Elohim for the land.

⁵ because David worked straight in the eyes of Yah Veh and turned not aside from all he misvahed him all the days of his life, except only, in the word of Uri Yah the Hethiy:

¹⁴ So Yah Veh gives pestilence on Yisra El: and there fall seventy thousand men of Yisra El:

⁷ and when the sons of Yaaqov hear they come from the field: and the men contort and inflame mightily, because he worked folly in Yisra El in lying with the daughter of Yaaqov; which ought not to be worked.

¹³ And Shemu El says to Shaul, You follied: you guarded not the misvah of Yah Veh your Elohim which he misvahed you: for by now Yah Veh had established your sovereigndom on Yisra El eternally:

²¹ Then says Shaul, I sinned! Return, my son David, for I vilify you no more, because my soul is valued in your eyes this day: behold, I follied and inadvertently erred mighty aboundingly.

¹³ And David says to Nathan, I sinned against Yah Veh. And Nathan says to David, Yah Veh also passes over your sin that you not die.

¹³ And I, where goes my reproach? And as for you, you become as one of the fools in Yisra El: and now, I pray you, word to the sovereign; for he withholds me not from you.

¹⁰ And after he scribes the people the heart of David is smitten: and David says to Yah Veh, I sinned mightily in what I worked: and now, I beseech you, O Yah Veh, pass over the perversity of your servant; for I follied mightily.

⁹ and he says to them, How counsel you to return word to this people, who word to me, saying, Slacken the yoke your father gives on us?

¹¹ For sake of your name, O Yah Veh, forgive my perversity; for it is great.

⁵ My sin, you know; and my perversity, I covered not: I say, I spread hands for my rebellions to Yah Veh; and you lift the perversity of my sin. Selah.

¹ To His Eminence; Psalm by David: when Nathan the prophet comes to him, after he went in to Bath Sheba. ¹² for whom Yah Veh loves, he reproves - even as a father the son who pleases him.

¹⁹ As many as ever I befriend I reprove and discipline: so be zealous and repent.

²⁰ Hear counsel and take discipline, that you finally enwisen.

²³ for Yah Veh passes through to smite the Misrayim; and when he sees the blood on the lintel and on the two side posts, Yah Veh leaps over the portal and gives not that the ruiner come in to your houses to smite you.
