¹⁵ For that which I work, I understand not. For I do not that good which I will: but the evil which I hate, that I do.

⁴⁶ But if they sin against thee, (for there is no man who sinneth not) and thou being angry, deliver them up to their enemies, so that they be led away captives into the land of their enemies, far or near;

⁶ For the Lord knoweth the way of the just: and the way of the wicked shall perish.

¹⁰ You that love the Lord, hate evil: the Lord preserveth the souls of his saints, he will deliver them out of the hand of the sinner.

¹ Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord. ² Blessed are they that search his testimonies: that seek him with their whole heart. ³ For they that work iniquity, have not walked in his ways. ⁴ Thou hast commanded thy commandments to be kept most diligently. ⁵ O! that my ways may be directed to keep thy justifications. ⁶ Then shall I not be confounded, when I shall look into all thy commandments.

³² I have run the way of thy commandments, when thou didst enlarge my heart.

⁴⁰ Behold I have longed after thy precepts: quicken me in thy justice.

¹⁰⁴ By thy commandments I have had understanding: therefore have I hated every way of iniquity.

¹¹³ I have hated the unjust: and have loved thy law.

¹²⁸ Therefore was I directed to all thy commandments: I have hated all wicked ways.

¹⁶³ I have hated and abhorred iniquity; but I have loved thy law.

¹³ The fear of the Lord hateth evil; I hate arrogance, and pride, and every wicked way, and a mouth with a double tongue.

⁵ The just shall hate a lying word: but the wicked confoundeth, and shall be confounded.

¹² Not as though I had already attained, or were already perfect: but I follow after, if I may by any means apprehend, wherein I am also apprehended by Christ Jesus. ¹³ Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended. But one thing I do: Forgetting the things that are behind and stretching forth myself to those that are before, ¹⁴ I press towards the mark, to the prize of the supernal vocation of God in Christ Jesus.

¹⁹ But the sure foundation of God standeth firm, having this seal: the Lord knoweth who are his; and let every one depart from iniquity who nameth the name of the Lord.

⁹ Thou hast loved justice and hated iniquity: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

² For in many things we all offend. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man. He is able also with a bridle to lead about the whole body.

⁷ But if we walk in the light, as he also is in the light, we have fellowship one with another: And the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. ⁸ If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.

²³ But others save, pulling them out of the fire. And on others have mercy, in fear, hating also the spotted garment which is carnal.
