¹⁴⁷ I prevented the dawning of the day, and cried: because in thy words I very much hoped.

¹ A gradual canticle. Behold now bless ye the Lord, all ye servants of the Lord: Who stand in the house of the Lord, in the courts of the house of our God.

⁸ And a lion cried out: I am upon the watchtower of the Lord, standing continually by day: and I am upon my ward, standing whole nights.
