⁵ Others like wild asses in the desert go forth to their work: by watching for a prey they get bread for their children.

¹² He shall be a wild man: his hand will be against all men, and all men's hands against him: and he shall pitch his tents over against all his brethren.

⁴⁰ Shall thy blessing be. Thou shalt live by the sword, and shalt serve thy brother: and the time shall come, when thou shalt shake off and loose his yoke from thy neck.

⁵ Whose harvest the hungry shall eat, and the armed man shall take him by violence, and the thirsty shall drink up his riches.

⁶ The tabernacles of robbers abound, and they provoke God boldly; whereas it is he that hath given all into their hands:

²³ Man shall go forth to his work, and to his labour until the evening.

¹⁶ For they sleep not, except they have done evil: and their sleep is taken away unless they have made some to fall.

²⁴ A wild ass accustomed to the wilderness in the desire of his heart, snuffed up the wind of his love: none shall turn her away: all that seek her shall not fail: in her monthly filth they shall find her.
