¹ The sin of Juda is written with a pen of iron, with the point of a diamond, it is graven upon the table of their heart, upon the horns of their altars.

¹⁷ And shall dip his finger in it and sprinkle it seven times before the veil. ¹⁸ And he shall put of the same blood on the horns of the altar that is before the Lord, in the tabernacle of the testimony. And the rest of the blood he shall pour at the foot of the altar of holocaust, which is at the door of the tabernacle of the testimony.

²⁵ The priest shall dip his finger in the blood of the victim for sin, touching therewith the horns of the altar of holocaust, and pouring out the rest at the foot thereof.

²³ Who will grant me that my words may be written? who will grant me that they may be marked down in a book? ²⁴ With an iron pen and in a plate of lead, or else be graven with an instrument in flint stone?

³ Let not mercy aud truth leave thee, put them about thy neck, and write them in the tables of thy heart.

³ Bind it upon thy fingers, write it upon the tables of thy heart.

¹¹ If Galaad be an idol, then in vain were they in Galgal offering sacrifices with bullocks: for their altars also are as heaps in the furrows of the field.

³ Being manifested, that you are the epistle of Christ, ministered by us, and written: not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God: not in tables of stone but in the fleshly tables of the heart.
