³ For I am the Lord thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I have given Egypt for thy atonement, Ethiopia and Saba for thee.

⁷ And Pharao's servants said to him: How long shall we endure this scandal? Iet the men go to sacrifice to the Lord their God. Dost thou not see that Egypt is undone?

² I am the Lord thy God, who brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

And they took abundance of spoils, ¹⁴ And they took all the cities round about Gerara: for a great fear was come upon all men: and they pillaged the cities, and carried off much booty.

⁸ The just is delivered out of distress: and the wicked shall be given up for him.

¹⁸ The wicked is delivered up for the just: and the unjust for the righteous.

³ And the Lord said: As my servant Isaias hath walked, naked and barefoot, it shall be a sign and a wonder of three years upon Egypt, and upon Ethiopia,

¹¹ Take away from me the way, turn away the path from me, let the Holy One of Israel cease from before us.

¹⁴ Fear not, thou worm of Jacob, you that are dead of Israel: I have helped thee, saith the Lord: and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel.

¹⁵ Verily thou art a hidden God, the God of Israel the saviour.

²¹ Tell ye, and come, and consult together: who hath declared this from the beginning, who hath foretold this from that time? Have not I the Lord, and there is no God else besides me? A just God and a saviour, there is none besides me.

²⁶ And I will feed thy enemies with their own flesh: and they shall be made drunk with their own blood, as with new wine: and all flesh shall know, that I am the Lord that save thee, and thy Redeemer the Mighty One of Jacob.

¹⁶ And thou shalt suck the milk of the Gentiles, and thou shalt be nursed with the breasts of kings: and thou shalt know that I am the Lord thy Saviour, and thy Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.

⁴ But I am the Lord thy God from the land of Egypt: and thou shalt know no God but me, and there is no saviour beside me.

¹⁰ Not defrauding, but in all things shewing good fidelity, that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things. ¹¹ For the grace of God our Saviour hath appeared to all men: ¹² Instructing us, that, denying ungodliness and worldly desires, we should live soberly and justly and godly in this world, ¹³ Looking for the blessed hope and coming of the glory of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ. ¹⁴ Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity and might cleanse to himself a people acceptable, a pursuer of good works.

⁴ But when the goodness and kindness of God our Saviour appeared: ⁵ Not by the works of justice which we have done, but according to his mercy, he saved us, by the laver of regeneration and renovation of the Holy Ghost. ⁶ Whom he hath poured forth upon us abundantly, through Jesus Christ our Saviour:

²⁵ To the only God our Saviour through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory and magnificence, empire and power, before all ages, and now, and for all ages of ages. Amen.
