²² At the same time Abimelech, and Phicol the general of his army, said to Abraham: God is with thee in all that thou dost.

²⁴ Where the Lord appeared to him that same night, saying: I am the God of Abraham thy father, do not fear, for I am with thee: I will bless thee, and multiply thy seed for my servant Abraham's sake.

¹ Whosoever are servants under the yoke, let them count their masters worthy of all honour; lest the name of the Lord and his doctrine be blasphemed.

⁹ Exhort servants to be obedient to their masters: in all things pleasing, not gainsaying: ¹⁰ Not defrauding, but in all things shewing good fidelity, that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.
