¹ An eunuch, whose testicles are broken or cut away, or yard cut off, shall not enter into the church of the Lord.

¹⁷ Say to Aaron: Whosoever of thy seed throughout their families, hath a blemish, he shall not offer bread to his God. ¹⁸ Neither shall he approach to minister to him: If he be blind; if he be lame; if he have a little, or a great, or a crooked nose; ¹⁹ If his foot, or if his hand be broken; ²⁰ If he be crookbacked; or blear eyed; or have a pearl in his eye, or a continual scab, or a dry scurf in his body, or a rupture. ²¹ Whosoever of the seed of Aaron the priest hath a blemish: he shall not approach to offer sacrifices to the Lord, nor bread to his God.

²² If it be blind, or broken, or have a scar or blisters, or a scab, or a dry scurf: you shall not offer them to the Lord, nor burn any thing of them upon the Lord's altar. ²³ An ox or a sheep, that hath the ear and the tail cut off, thou mayst offer voluntarily: but a vow may not be paid with them. ²⁴ you shall not offer to the Lord any beast that hath the testicles bruised, or crushed, or cut and taken away: neither shall you do any such things in your land.

² A mamzer, that is to say, one born of a prostitute, shall not enter into the church of the Lord, until the tenth generation. ³ The Ammonite and the Moabite, even after the tenth generation shall not enter into the church of the Lord for ever:

⁸ They that are born of them, in the third generation shall enter into the church of the Lord.

¹ And on that day they read in the book of Moses in the hearing of the people: and therein was found written, that the Ammonites and the Moabites should not come in to the church of God for ever: ² Because they met not the children of Israel with bread and water: and they hired against them Balaam, to curse them, and our God turned the curse into blessing. ³ And it came to pass, when they had heard the law, that they separated every stranger from Israel.

³ And let not the son of the stranger, that adhereth to the Lord, speak, saying: The Lord will divide and separate me from his people. And let not the eunuch say: Behold I am a dry tree. ⁴ For thus saith the Lord to the eunuchs, They that shall keep my sabbaths, and shall choose the things that please me, and shall hold fast my covenant:

¹⁰ Jod. The enemy hath put out his hand to all her desirable things: for she hath seen the Gentiles enter into her sanctuary, of whom thou gavest commandment that they should not enter into thy church.

²⁸ There is neither Jew nor Greek: there is neither bond nor free: there is neither male nor female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus.
