⁵ not that we are competent of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves, but our competency [is] of God;

¹⁰ And Moses said to Jehovah, Ah Lord! I am not eloquent, neither heretofore nor since thou hast spoken to thy servant, for I am slow of speech and of a slow tongue. ¹¹ And Jehovah said to him, Who gave man a mouth? or who maketh dumb, or deaf, or seeing, or blind? [have] not I, Jehovah? ¹² And now go, and I will be with thy mouth, and will teach thee what thou shalt say. ¹³ And he said, Ah Lord! send, I pray thee, by the hand [of him whom] thou wilt send. ¹⁴ Then the anger of Jehovah was kindled against Moses, and he said, Is not Aaron the Levite thy brother? I know that he can speak well. And also behold, he goeth out to meet thee; and when he seeth thee he will be glad in his heart. ¹⁵ And thou shalt speak unto him, and put the words in his mouth; and I will be with thy mouth, and with his mouth, and will teach you what ye shall do. ¹⁶ And he shall speak for thee unto the people; and it shall come to pass that he shall be to thee for a mouth, and thou shalt be to him for God.

⁶ And I said, Alas, Lord Jehovah! behold, I cannot speak; for I am a child. ⁷ But Jehovah said unto me, Say not, I am a child; for thou shalt go to whomsoever I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak. ⁸ Be not afraid of them; for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith Jehovah. ⁹ And Jehovah put forth his hand and touched my mouth; and Jehovah said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth. ¹⁰ See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to pluck up, and to break down, and to destroy, and to overthrow, to build and to plant.

¹⁹ But when they deliver you up, be not careful how or what ye shall speak; for it shall be given to you in that hour what ye shall speak. ²⁰ For *ye* are not the speakers, but the Spirit of your Father which speaks in you.

¹⁵ for *I* will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your opposers shall not be able to reply to or resist.

⁴⁹ And behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you; but do ye remain in the city till ye be clothed with power from on high.

⁵ I am the vine, ye [are] the branches. He that abides in me and I in him, *he* bears much fruit; for without me ye can do nothing.

⁶ *I* have planted; Apollos watered; but God has given the increase.

¹⁰ According to the grace of God which has been given to me, as a wise architect, I have laid the foundation, but another builds upon it. But let each see how he builds upon it.

¹⁰ But by God`s grace I am what I am; and his grace, which [was] towards me, has not been vain; but I have laboured more abundantly than they all, but not *I*, but the grace of God which [was] with me.

¹⁶ to the one an odour from death unto death, but to the others an odour from life unto life; and who [is] sufficient for these things?

⁷ But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the surpassingness of the power may be of God, and not from us:

⁹ And he said to me, My grace suffices thee; for [my] power is perfected in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather boast in my weaknesses, that the power of the Christ may dwell upon me.

¹³ for it is God who works in you both the willing and the working according to [his] good pleasure.

¹³ I have strength for all things in him that gives me power.

¹⁷ Every good gift and every perfect gift comes down from above, from the Father of lights, with whom is no variation nor shadow of turning.
