¹ And *I*, brethren, have not been able to speak to you as to spiritual, but as to fleshly; as to babes in Christ.

²³ But turning round, he said to Peter, Get away behind me, Satan; thou art an offence to me, for thy mind is not on the things that are of God, but on the things that are of men.

¹⁴ For we know that the law is spiritual: but *I* am fleshly, sold under sin.

⁶ But we speak wisdom among the perfect; but wisdom not of this world, nor of the rulers of this world, who come to nought.

¹⁴ But [the] natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him; and he cannot know [them] because they are spiritually discerned; ¹⁵ but the spiritual discerns all things, and *he* is discerned of no one.

³ for ye are yet carnal. For whereas [there are] among you emulation and strife, are ye not carnal, and walk according to man? ⁴ For when one says, *I* am of Paul, and another, *I* of Apollos, are ye not men?

²⁰ Brethren, be not children in [your] minds, but in malice be babes; but in [your] minds be grown [men].

¹ Brethren, if even a man be taken in some fault, ye who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of meekness, considering thyself lest *thou* also be tempted.

¹³ until we all arrive at the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, at [the] full-grown man, at [the] measure of the stature of the fulness of the Christ; ¹⁴ in order that we may be no longer babes, tossed and carried about by every wind of *that* teaching [which is] in the sleight of men, in unprincipled cunning with a view to systematized error;

¹³ For every one that partakes of milk [is] unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe;

¹² I write to you, children, because [your] sins are forgiven you for his name`s sake.
