⁶ After yt brought I you and youre fathers out of Egipte. And whan ye came to ye see, and the Egipcians folowed vpon youre fathers with charettes and horse men vnto the reed see,

³⁷ Thus ye children of Israel toke their iourney from Raemses to Suchoth, sixe hundreth thousande men of fote, besyde childre.

⁵¹ So vpo one daye the LORDE brought the childre of Israel out of the lode of Egipte with their armyes.

¹ And the LORDE spake vnto Moses, and sayde: ² Speake vnto the children of Israel, and byd them that they turne aboute, & pitch their tentes before the valley of Hyroth, betwixte Migdol & the see towarde Baal Zepho, and there pitch ye tentes right ouer by the see. ³ For Pharao shall saye of the children of Israel: They can not tell how to get out of the londe, the wyldernesse hath shut them in. ⁴ And I wyll harden his hert, yt he shal folowe after them, & I wil get me honoure vpon Pharao, and vpon all his power. And ye Egipcias shal knowe, yt I am the LORDE. And they dyd so. ⁵ And whan it was tolde ye kinge of Egipte, yt ye people fled, his hert & his seruauntes were turned agaynst ye people, & saide: Why haue we done this, that we haue let Israel go, yt they shulde not serue vs? ⁶ And he bounde his charettes fast, and toke his people wt him, ⁷ and toke sixe hudreth chosen charettes, and the other charettes besyde that were in Egipte, and the captaynes ouer all his: ⁸ for the LORDE hardened ye hert of Pharao kynge of Egipte, that he folowed after the children of Israel. And the children of Israel wente out with an hye hande. ⁹ And the Egipcians folowed after the, & ouertoke them (where they had pitched by ye see) with horses and charettes, and horsme, and with his power, in the valley of Hyrath towarde Baal Zephon. ¹⁰ And whan Pharao came nye them, the children of Israel lift vp their eyes, and beholde, ye Egipcians wente behinde the, and they were sore afrayed, and cried vnto the LORDE. ¹¹ And sayde vnto Moses: Were there no graues in Egipte, yt thou hast brought vs awaye to dye in the wyldernes? Wherfore hast thou done this vnto vs, that thou hast caried vs out of Egipte? ¹² Is not this it, that we sayde vnto the in Egipte? Leaue of, & let vs serue the Egipcians: for it were better for vs to serue the Egipcians, then to dye in the wyldernes? ¹³ Moses sayde vnto the people: Feare you not, stonde styll, and beholde, what a saluacion the LORDE shall shewe vpon you this daye: for these Egipcians whom ye se this daye, shall ye neuer se more for euer: ¹⁴ the LORDE shal fight for you, onely quyete youre selues. ¹⁵ The LORDE sayde vnto Moses: Wherfore criest thou vnto me? Speake vnto ye children of Israel, yt they go forwarde.

¹¹ And the reed See partedst thou in sunder before them, so that they wete thorow the myddes of the See drye shod: & their persecuters threwest thou in to the depe as a stone, in the mightie waters,

¹⁵ Thou with thine arme hast delyuered thy people, euen the sonnes of Iacob and Ioseph. ¹⁶ Sela. The waters sawe ye (o God) ye waters sawe ye, & were afrayed: ye depthes were moued. ¹⁷ The thicke cloudes poured out water, ye cloudes thodered, and thy arowes wente abrode. ¹⁸ Thy thonder was herde rounde aboute, the lighteninges shone vpon the grounde, the earth was moued and shoke withall. ¹⁹ Thy waye was in the see, and thy pathes in the greate waters, yet coude no man knowe thy fotesteppes. ²⁰ Thou leddest thy people like a flocke of shepe, by the honde of Moses and Aaron.

¹³ Maruelous thinges dyd he in the sight of their fathers in the londe of Egipte, euen in the felde of Zoan.

¹³ Which deuyded the reed see in to partes, for his mercy endureth for euer. ¹⁴ And made Israel to go thorow ye myddest of it, for his mercy endureth for euer ¹⁵ But as for Pharao and his hoost, he ouerthrewe them in the reed see, for his mercy endureth for euer.

¹² how he had led Moses by the right honde with his glorious arme: how he had deuyded the water before them (wherby he gat him self an euerlastinge name) ¹³ how he led them in the depe, as an horse is led in the playne, that they shulde not stomble.

⁴ Because I brought the fro the londe of Egipte, and delyuered the out of the house of bondage? Because I made Moses, Aaron and Miriam to lede the?

³⁶ The same broughte them out, and dyd wonders and tokens in Egipte, and in the reed see, and in ye wyldernesse fourtye yeares.

²⁹ By faith they passed thorow the reed See as by drye londe: which wha the Egipcians assayed to do, they were drowned.
