Romans 7:1 Cross References - Common

¹ Do you not know, brethrenfor I am speaking to those who know the lawthat the law has authority over a man only as long as he lives?

¹³ I do not want you to be unaware, brethren, that I often planned to come to you (but have been prevented from doing so until now) in order that I might have some harvest among you, just as I have had among the other Gentiles.

¹⁷ But if you call yourself a Jew, and rely on the law and boast of your relation to God ¹⁸ and know his will and approve of what is excellent, because you are instructed in the law,

³ Or do you not know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?

¹⁴ For sin shall not have dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace.

⁶ But now, by dying to what once held us, we have been released from the law so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code.

³ For I could wish that I myself were accursed and cut off from Christ for the sake of my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh.

¹ Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for them is that they may be saved.

⁸ Do I say this merely from a human point of view? Does not the Law say the same thing?

²¹ Tell me, you who want to be under law, do you not listen to the law?
