¹⁹ And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth with their armies gathered to make war against him who sits on the horse and against his army.

⁷ When they have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up from the abyss will make war with them, and overcome them and kill them.

¹ And the dragon stood on the shore of the sea. And I saw a beast coming out of the sea. He had ten horns and seven heads, with ten diadems on his horns, and on his heads were blasphemous names. ² The beast that I saw was like a leopard, and his feet were like those of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. And authority was given it over every tribe and people and tongue and nation, ⁸ and all who dwell on earth will worship it, every one whose name has not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb that was slain. ⁹ If anyone has an ear, let him hear. ¹⁰ If anyone is destined for captivity, to captivity he goes; if anyone kills with the sword, with the sword he must be killed. Here is the endurance and faith of the saints.

⁹ And another angel, a third, followed them, saying with a loud voice, "If any one worships the beast and its image, and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand,

¹⁴ for they are spirits of demons, performing miraculous signs, and they go out to the kings of the whole world, to gather them for the battle on the great day of God Almighty.

¹⁶ And they gathered them together at the place which in Hebrew is called Armageddon.

¹² And the ten horns which you saw are ten kings, who have not yet received a kingdom, but they receive authority as kings with the beast for one hour. ¹³ These have one purpose and they give their power and authority to the beast. ¹⁴ These will make war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, because he is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those who are with him are the called and chosen and faithful."

⁹ And the kings of the earth, who committed fornication and were wanton with her, will weep and wail over her when they see the smoke of her burning;

¹¹ Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse! He who sat on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and makes war. ¹² His eyes are like a flame of fire, and on his head are many diadems; and he has a name written on him which no one knows but himself. ¹³ He is clothed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is called the Word of God. ¹⁴ The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses, and dressed in fine linen, white and clean.
