³ For they, being ignorant of the righteousness of God, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, were not subjected to the righteousness of God."

³³ and You [are] righteous concerning all that has come upon us, for truth You have done, and we have done wickedly;"

²⁷ He shall sing before mortals and say, I have sinned and depraved what is upright, Yet He did not compensate it fully to me.

¹⁵ My mouth, it shall recount Your righteousness, The entire day, Your salvation, for I do not know their number." ¹⁶ I shall come with praise of the masterful deeds of my Lord; O Yahweh, I shall mention Your righteousness, Yours alone."

¹⁹ Your righteousness, O Elohim, reaches unto the height, You Who have done great things; O Elohim, Who is like You?

⁶ Lift your eyes to the heavens, and look to the earth beneath. For the heavens, as with smoke, are full, and the earth, as a garment, is decaying, and its dwellers likewise, as a louse, are dying. Yet My salvation for the eon shall come. And My righteousness shall not be dismayed."

⁸ For, as if a garment, eating them is the moth, and, as if wool, eating them is the roach. Yet My righteousness for the eon shall come, and My salvation for the generation of generations."

¹ For thus says Yahweh, "Keep judgment, and do justice. For near is My salvation to come, and My righteousness to be revealed."

¹² I, I am telling of My righteousness and of your evil deeds. Your conveners are not benefiting you at your outcry."

⁶ And we are becoming as unclean, all of us, and as an ornamented garment is all our righteousness. And we are decaying as a leaf, all of us, and our depravities, as the wind, are carrying us away."

⁵ Lo, days are coming--an affirmation of Yahweh, And I have raised to David a righteous shoot, And a king has reigned and acted wisely, And done judgment and righteousness in the earth." ⁶ In his days is Judah saved, and Israel dwells confidently, And this his name that Yahweh proclaims him, `Our Righteousness.'"

²² It is by Yahweh's benignities that we have not come to end, that His compassions are not finished;"

⁶ We do not hearken to Thy servants the prophets, who speak in Thy name to our kings, our chiefs, our forefathers and to all the people of the land." ⁷ To Thee, my Lord, is righteousness, yet to us is shamefacedness as at this day:To each man of Judah, to the dwellers of Jerusalem, to all the people of Israel, the near and the far, in all the lands where Thou hast expelled them for their offense with which they offend Thee." ⁸ To Thee, Yahweh, is righteousness, yet to us is shamefacedness:To our kings, to our chiefs, to our forefathers, who sin against Thee." ⁹ Of Yahweh our Elohim are compassions and pardons; for we revolt against Him."

²⁴ Seventy sevens are segregated for your people and for your holy city:To detain transgression, to cause sin to end, to make a propitiatory shelter for depravity; to bring the righteousness of the eons, to seal the vision and the prophet, to anoint the holy of holies."

²⁹ Yet he, wanting to justify himself, said to Jesus, "And who is my associate?

¹⁷ Now, coming to himself, he averred, 'How many of my father's hired men are being cloyed with bread, yet I am perishing here of famine!" ¹⁸ Rising, I will go to my father and declare to him, "Father, I sinned against heaven and in your sight." ¹⁹ No longer am I worthy to be called your son. Make me as one of your hired men."'" ²⁰ And rising, he came to his father. "Now, at his being still far away, his father perceived him and has compassion, and running, falls on his neck and fondly kisses him." ²¹ Now the son said to him, 'Father, I sinned against heaven and in your sight. No longer am I worthy to be called your son. Make me as one of your hired men.'"

¹⁵ And He said to them, "You are those who are justifying yourselves in the sight of men, yet God knows your hearts, for what is high among men is an abomination in the sight of God."

⁹ Now He said, also, to some who have confidence in themselves that they are just, and are scorning the rest, this parable:" ¹⁰ Two men went up into the sanctuary to pray, the one a Pharisee, and the other a tribute collector." ¹¹ The Pharisee, standing, prayed this to himself: 'God, I am thanking you that I am not even as the rest of men, rapacious, unjust, adulterers, or even as this tribute collector." ¹² I am fasting twice of a sabbath. I am taking tithes from all whatever I am acquiring.'

⁹ concerning sin, indeed, seeing that they are not believing in Me;" ¹⁰ yet concerning righteousness, seeing that I am going away to My Father, and no longer are you beholding Me;"

¹⁷ For in it God's righteousness is being revealed, out of faith for faith, according as it is written: "Now the just one by faith shall be living."

²² yet a righteousness of God through Jesus Christ's faith, for all, and on all who are believing, for there is no distinction,

²⁶ toward the display of His righteousness in the current era, for Him to be just and a Justifier of the one who is of the faith of Jesus."

¹⁹ For even as, through the disobedience of the one man, the many were constituted sinners, thus also, through the obedience of the One, the many shall be constituted just."

³⁰ What, then, shall we be declaring? That the nations who are not pursuing righteousness overtook righteousness, yet a righteousness which is out of faith." ³¹ Yet Israel, pursuing a law of righteousness, into a law of righteousness does not outstrip." ³² Wherefore? Seeing that it is not out of faith, but as out of law works, they stumble on the stumbling stone,

²¹ For the One not knowing sin, He makes to be a sin offering for our sakes that we may be becoming God's righteousness in Him."

³ Now I am attesting again to every man who is circumcising, that he is a debtor to do the whole law." ⁴ Exempted from Christ were you who are being justified in law. You fall out of grace.

⁹ and may be found in Him, not having my righteousness, which is of law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is from God for faith:"

¹ Simeon Peter, a slave and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to those who are chancing upon an equally precious faith with us, in the righteousness of our God, and the Saviour, Jesus Christ:"

¹⁷ Seeing that you are saying that 'Rich am I!' and 'Rich have I become, and of nothing have I need!' and you are not aware that you are wretched and forlorn and poor and blind and naked, ¹⁸ I am advising you to buy of Me gold refined by the fire, that you should be rich, and white garments, that you may be clothed and the shame of your nakedness may not be made manifest, and eye-salve to anoint your eyes, that you may be observing."
