¹ And I perceived when the Lambkin opens one of the seven seals; and I hear one of the four animals saying, as with a voice of thunder, "Come!" ² And I perceived, and lo! a white horse, and he who is sitting on it has a bow, and to him was given a wreath. And he came forth conquering and that he should be conquering." ³ And when It opens the second seal, I hear the second animal saying, "Come!" ⁴ And forth came another horse, fiery-red, and to him who is sitting on it was given to take peace out of the earth, and that they should be slaying one another. And a huge sword was given to him." ⁵ And when It opens the third seal, I hear the third animal saying, "Come!And I perceived and lo! a black horse, and he who is sitting on it has a pair of balances in his hand." ⁶ And I hear as it were a voice in the midst of the four animals saying, "A choenix of wheat a denarius, and three choenix of barley a denarius, and the oil and the wine you should not be injuring!" ⁷ And when It opens the fourth seal, I hear the voice of the fourth animal saying, "Come!" ⁸ And I perceived, and lo! a greenish horse, and the name of him who is sitting upon it is Death, and the Unseen followed him. And jurisdiction was given them over the fourth of the earth, to kill with the blade and with famine and with death and by the wild beasts of the earth." ⁹ And when It opens the fifth seal, I perceived underneath the altar the souls of those who have been slain because of the word of God and because of the testimony which they had." ¹⁰ And they cry with a loud voice, saying, "Till when, O Owner, holy and true, art Thou not judging and avenging our blood on those dwelling on the earth? ¹¹ And to each of them was given a white robe, and it was declared to them that they should be resting still a little time, till their number should be completed by their fellow slaves also, and their brethren, who are about to be killed even as they were." ¹² And I perceived, when It opens the sixth seal, and a great cataclysm occurred, and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the whole moon became as blood, ¹³ and the stars of heaven fall on the earth as a fig tree is casting its shriveled figs, quaking under a great wind." ¹⁴ And heaven recoils as a scroll rolling up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place." ¹⁵ And the kings of the earth, and the magnates, and the captains, and the rich, and the strong, and every slave and freeman, hide themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains." ¹⁶ And they are saying to the mountains and to the rocks, "Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him Who is sitting on the throne, and from the indignation of the Lambkin, ¹⁷ for the great day of Their indignation came, and who is able to stand?

¹⁰ And saying is the Elohim, "What have you done? The voice of your brother's blood is crying to me from the ground.

¹⁶ Howbeit, for this sake I keep you standing, in order to make you see My vigor, and that My name may be related in the entire earth. ¹⁷ Still you are heaping yourself up against My people so as not to dismiss them.

⁷ And the priest will put some of the blood on the horns of the altar of the incense of spices before Yahweh, which is in the tent of appointment. All the rest of the blood of the young bull shall he pour out at the foundation of the altar of ascent offering which is at the opening of the tent of appointment.

²² I will send the animal of the field against you, and it will bereave you, cut off your domestic beasts and so decrease you that your roads will be desolated. ²³ If by these you should not be disciplined for Me and go contrary to Me, ²⁴ then I will, indeed, go contrary to you, and I Myself will even smite you sevenfold for your sins. ²⁵ I will bring the sword on you avenging the vengeance of the covenant. When you will be gathered into your cities then I will send the plague into your midst, and you will be given into the hand of the enemy. ²⁶ When I break the stock of bread for you then ten women will bake your bread in one stove and return your bread by weight so that you will eat and not be satisfied.

³⁶ For Yahweh shall adjudicate His people and show Himself merciful over His servants when He sees that the power of their hand has departed and has become nil for both the restrained and the ones set free. ³⁷ Then Yahweh will ask:Where are their elohim, the rock in whom they took refuge, ³⁸ who ate the fat of their sacrifices and drank the wine of their libations? Let them rise up and help you; let them become a concealment over you. ³⁹ See now that I, I am He, and there is no other elohim besides Me. I Myself put to death, and I keep alive; I have transfixed, and I Myself shall heal, and there is no one who could reclaim from My hand!" ⁴⁰ For I lift My hand to the heavens and declare:As I am the Life for the eon, ⁴¹ when I whet My flashing sword and My hand lays hold on judgment, I shall return vengeance to My foes, and to My haters shall I make repayment. ⁴² I shall make My arrows drunk with blood, and My sword shall devour flesh, the blood of the one mortally wounded and the captive, from the head of the enemy commanders. ⁴³ Jubilate, O heavens, together with Him, and worship Him, all the messengers of Elohim! Jubilate, O nations, with His people! For the blood of His servants shall He avenge, vengeance to His foes shall He return, and a propitiatory shelter shall He make for the ground of His people.

And lo, Yahweh is passing by, and a wind--great and strong--is rending mountains, and shivering rocks before Yahweh:--not in the wind [is] Yahweh; and after the wind a shaking:--not in the shaking [is] Yahweh;" <sup>12</sup> and after the shaking a fire:--not in the fire [is] Yahweh; and after the fire a voice still small; <sup>13</sup> and it comes to pass, at Elijah's hearing [it], that he wraps his face in his robe, and goes out, and stands at the opening of the cave, and lo, unto him [is] a voice, and it said, `What--to you, here, Elijah?.

⁹ You shall smash them with a club of iron; Like a vessel of a potter, You shall shatter them. ¹⁰ And now, O kings, be intelligent; Be admonished, all judges of the earth;" ¹¹ Serve Yahweh with fear, And exult with quivering. ¹² Bear admonition lest He should be angry, And you should perish in the way, For His anger shall consume speedily. Happy are all those taking refuge in Him.

Yahweh shall swallow them up in His anger, And fire shall devour them." ¹⁰ You shall destroy their fruit from the earth And their seed from among the sons of humanity. ¹¹ Though they have intended evil against You, And they have devised a scheme, They shall not prevail at all." ¹² For You shall make them turn their backs; With Your bowcords You shall be ready against their faces.

¹⁷ O Yahweh, how long shall You look on? Do restore my soul from their ruinations, My only one from the sheltered lions."

³ Gird Your sword on Your thigh, O Master, Your splendor and Your honor." ⁴ And in Your honor prosper, ride forth On behalf of truth and humility and righteousness; Then may Your right hand direct You in fear inspiring deeds." ⁵ Your arrows being whetted, Peoples shall fall beneath You, Struck in the heart of the King's enemies."

⁹ Our signs we cannot see; There is no prophet any more, And not one of us is knowing what is still ahead." ¹⁰ How long, O Elohim, shall the foe reproach? Shall the enemy spurn Your Name permanently?

⁷ You, indeed You are fear inspiring, And who may stand before You from the strength of Your anger?

¹⁰ For the fury of humanity, it is acclaiming You; The remainder of the fury shall celebrate to You."

¹⁰ Why should the nations say, Where is their Elohim? Let it be made known among the nations before our eyes:Vengeance for the shed blood of Your servants."

³ How long shall the wicked, O Yahweh, How long shall the wicked be joyous, ⁴ Shall they utter, shall they speak with impertinence, Shall they vaunt themselves, All these contrivers of lawlessness?

And over the sons their eye is not commiserating." ¹⁹ And it comes that Babylon, the stateliest of kingdoms, the beauty, the pomp of the Chaldeans, shall be as the overturning of Sodom and Gomorrah by the Elohim." ²⁰ It shall not be indwelt permanently, nor shall anyone tabernacle there further, for generation after generation, nor shall the Arabian tent there, nor shepherds recline their flocks there." ²¹ Yet the animals of arid spaces will recline there, and their houses will be full of their uproar. And the ostrich will tabernacle there. And hairy creatures will dance there." ²² And falcons will respond in their citadels, and jackals in the delicate palaces. And near to come is her era, and her days shall not be protracted further."

²⁶ Have you not heard from afar that it was made by Me? From days aforetime also, I formed it. Now will I bring it, and coming are you to cause tumult, to besieged mounds, defended cities." ²⁷ And their dwellers are shorthanded; they are dismayed and ashamed. They become herbage of the field and green verdure, grass of the housetops, and blasted before raised."

²² Yet they come to be a people plundered and robbed, snared in holes, all of them, and in houses of detention are they hidden. They come to be for plunder, and there is no rescuer, for robbery, and no one says "Restore."

³ I will clothe the heavens with somberness, and I will make sackcloth their covering."

¹⁰ For the mountains shall remove, and the hills shall slip, yet My kindness from you shall not remove, and the covenant of My welfare shall not slip, says your Compassionate One, Yahweh."

¹⁹ No further, for you, is the sun coming to be for light by day, and for brightness the moon shall not give light to you at night. Yet Yahweh comes to be your light eonian, and your Elohim to be your beauty." ²⁰ No further shall your sun set, nor your moon be gathered in, for Yahweh shall be yours for light eonian; and repaid are the days of your mourning."

² to herald an acceptable year for Yahweh, and a day of vengeance for our Elohim. To comfort all mourners,

¹ Who is This, coming from humanity, with fermented garments from the vintage? This One, in His clothing of honor, marching in the vastness of His vigor?I, speaking in righteousness, and contending to save!" ² For what reason is there red on Your clothing, and Your garments are as the treader's in a wine trough? ³ The winepress I trod alone, and of the peoples there is no man `with Me, and I am treading them in My anger, and trampling them in My fury, and their gore is spattering on My garments, and all My clothing I sully." ⁴ For the day of vengeance came for them, and the year of My redeemed has come." ⁵ And I am looking, and there is no helper, and I am regarding, and there is no supporter, and My own arm is saving for Me, and My fury, it supports Me!" ⁶ And I am trampling peoples in My anger. And I am making them drunk in My fury, and down to the earth am I bringing their gore."

²³ Surely in vain from the heights, The multitude of mountains--Surely in Yahweh our Elohim [is] the salvation of Israel."

³ And chosen is death rather than life By all the remnant who are left of this evil family, In all the remaining places, whither I have driven them, An affirmation of Yahweh of Hosts."

¹³ `Son of man, the land--when it sins against Me to commit a trespass, and I have stretched out My hand against it, and broken for it the staff of bread, and sent into it famine, and cut off from it man and beast--" <sup>14</sup> and these three men have been in its midst, Noah, Daniel, and Job--they by their righteousness deliver their own soul--an affirmation of the Lord Yahweh." <sup>15</sup> `If an evil beast I cause to pass through the land, and it has bereaved, and it has been a desolation, without any passing through because of the beast--" ¹⁶ these three men in its midst:I live--an affirmation of the Lord Yahweh--neither sons nor daughters do they deliver; they alone are delivered, and the land is a desolation." ¹⁷ `Or--a sword I bring in against that land, and I have said:Sword, you do pass over through the land, and I have cut off from it man and beast--" <sup>18</sup> and these three men in its midst:I live--an affirmation of the Lord Yahweh--they deliver not sons and daughters, for they alone are delivered." <sup>19</sup> `Or--pestilence I send unto that land, and I have poured out My fury against it in blood, to cut off from it man and beast--" ²⁰ and Noah, Daniel, and Job, in its midst:I live--an affirmation of the Lord Yahweh--neither son nor daughter do they deliver; they, by their righteousness, deliver their own soul." ²¹ `For thus said the Lord Yahweh:Although My four sore judgments--sword, and famine, and wild beast, and pestilence--I have sent unto Jerusalem, to cut off from it man and beast,

¹⁸ `Son of man, Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, Has caused his force to serve a great service against Tyre, Every head [is] bald--every shoulder peeled, And reward he had none, nor his force, out of Tyre, For the service that he served against it." ¹⁹ Therefore, thus said the Lord Yahweh, Lo, I am giving to Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon the land of Egypt, And he has taken away its store, And has taken its spoil, and taken its prey, And it has been a reward to his force." ²⁰ His wage for which he labored I have given to him, The land of Egypt--in that they wrought for Me, An affirmation of the Lord Yahweh."

²⁴ And strengthened the arms of the king of Babylon, And I have given My sword into his hand, And I have broken the arms of Pharaoh, And he has groaned the groans of a pierced one--before him." ²⁵ And I have strengthened the arms of the king of Babylon, And the arms of Pharaoh do fall down, And they have known that I [am] Yahweh, In My giving My sword into the hand of the king of Babylon, And he has stretched it out toward the land of Egypt."

⁷ And in quenching you I have covered the heavens, And have made black their stars, The sun with a cloud I do cover, And the moon causes not its light to shine."

³⁷ You, O king, are king of kings, seeing that the Eloah of the heavens grants a safeguarded kingdom to you, and might and honor and esteem." ³⁸ In every place where the sons of mortals are abiding, the animal of the field, the flyer of the heavens, and the fish of the sea, He grants into your hand. He gives you authority over them all. You are the head that is gold."

¹⁴ He is calling with potency and this is what he is saying, `Slash down the oak; cut away its boughs. Shake off its leaves; scatter its pollinated fruit. Wander shall the animals from under it, and the birds from its boughs."

¹⁹ And from the majesty that He granted to him, all peoples, leagues, and language-groups were stirred and terrified before him. Whom he will he is despatching, and whom he will he is preserving alive; whom he will he exalts, and whom he will he abases."

¹⁰ He is growing great unto the host of the heavens, and cast to the earth is one from the host, and one from the stars who is also tramping on them."

¹³ Now I am hearing one saint speaking. And saying is one other saint to so-and-so, the speaking one, "Till when is the vision of the continuous ritual--the cessation of the sacrifice and the desolating transgression which gives over even the holy place and the host to tramping?

⁶ I am saying to the man clothed in linen who is above the waters of the waterway, "Till when is the end of the marvels of which you speak, and this cleansing?

¹³ Now you, go on to the end, and you shall rest and stand up for your lot at the end of the days."

⁸ The fane heights of Aven shall be exterminated, the sin of Israel. The thorn and the weed shall come up on their altars. And they shall say to the mountains, Cover us! And to the hills, Fall on us!"

And their blood shall be poured out as soil, and their intestines as ordure." ¹⁸ Moreover, their silver and their gold, will not be able to rescue them in the day of the rage of Yahweh; and by the fire of His jealousy the entire land shall be devoured; for a finish, yea, a hustled one, shall He make of all dwelling in the land."

Moreover, consequently, at the coming of the Son of Mankind, will He be finding the faith on the earth?

" ⁴ For the weapons of our warfare are not fleshly, but powerful to God toward the pulling down of bulwarks; " ⁵ pulling down reckonings and every height elevating itself against the knowledge of God, and leading into captivity every apprehension into the obedience of Christ, "

¹⁷ But even if I am a libation on the sacrifice and ministration of your faith, I am rejoicing myself and rejoicing together with you all."

³ And I will be endowing My two witnesses and they will be prophesying a thousand two hundred sixty days, clothed in sackcloth." ⁴ These are the two olive trees, and the two lampstands which stand before the Lord of the earth." ⁵ And if anyone is wanting to injure them, fire is issuing out of their mouth and is devouring their enemies. And if anyone should be wanting to injure them, thus must he be killed." ⁶ These have authority to lock heaven, that there may be no shower of rain for the days of their prophecy. And they have authority over the waters to be turning them into blood, and to smite the land with every calamity, as often as they will." ⁷ And whenever they should be finishing their testimony, the wild beast which is ascending out of the submerged chaos will be doing battle with them and will be conquering them and killing them."

³ And seen was another sign in heaven, and lo! a great fiery-red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and on its heads seven diadems." ⁴ And its tail is dragging a third of the stars of heaven, and casts them into the earth. And the dragon stands before the woman who is about to be bringing forth, that it may be devouring her child whenever she may be bringing forth"

For all the nations shall arrive And worship before Thee, For Thy just awards were made manifest."

⁵ And I hear the messenger of the waters saying, "Just art Thou, Who art, and Who wast, Benign One, seeing that Thou judgest these, ⁶ for they shed the blood of saints and prophets, and Thou dost give them blood to drink, even what they are deserving!" ⁷ And I hear the altar saying, "Yea, Lord God Almighty, true and just are Thy judgings!"

¹⁴ three unclean spirits, as if frogs (for they are spirits of demons, doing signs), which are going out to the kings of the whole inhabited earth, to be mobilizing them for the battle of the great day of God Almighty."
