Revelation 5:5 Cross References - CLV

⁵ And one of the elders is saying to me, "Do not lament! Lo! He conquers! The Lion out of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, is to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals!"

⁹ The whelp of a lion is Judah. From the prey, my son, bow will he, recline as a lion. And as a parent lion, who will make him rise? ¹⁰ Not withdraw shall the sceptre from Judah, nor a statue-maker's staff from between his feet, till it be that ease shall come to him. And to it shall the expectation of the people be.

⁹ He crouches and lies down like a lion, and like a parent lion; who shall make him rise? Whoever is blessing you is blessed and whoever is cursing you is cursed.

¹ And a Twig shall fare forth from the set slip of Jesse, and a Scion from his roots shall be fruitful."

¹⁰ And there comes, in that day, the Root of Jesse, Who will stand for a Banner of the peoples; of Him will the nations inquire, and His rest will come to be glorious."

⁵ Lo, days are coming--an affirmation of Yahweh, And I have raised to David a righteous shoot, And a king has reigned and acted wisely, And done judgment and righteousness in the earth." ⁶ In his days is Judah saved, and Israel dwells confidently, And this his name that Yahweh proclaims him, `Our Righteousness.'"

¹⁶ Thus said Yahweh:Withhold your voice from weeping, and your eyes from tears, For there is a reward for your work, An affirmation of Yahweh, And they have turned back from the land of the enemy."

¹³ And perceiving her, the Lord has compassion on her and said to her, "Do not lament!"

⁵² Now they all lamented, and they grieved for her. Now He said, "Be not lamenting, for she did not die, but is drowsing."

²⁸ Now being turned toward them, Jesus said, "Daughters of Jerusalem! Do not lament over Me! However, over yourselves lament, and over your children,

¹³ And they are saying to her, "Woman, why are you lamenting?And she is saying to them that "They take away my Lord, and I am not aware where they place Him!"

³ concerning His Son (Who comes of the seed of David according to the flesh,

¹² And again Isaiah is saying, there will be "the root of Jesse, And He Who is rising to Chief of the nations: On Him will the nations rely."

¹⁴ For it is taken for granted that our Lord has risen out of Judah, to which tribe Moses speaks nothing concerning priests,

¹ The Unveiling of Jesus Christ, which God gives to Him, to show to His slaves what must occur swiftly; and He signifies it, dispatching through His messenger to His slave John,

⁴ And around the throne I perceived twenty-four thrones, and on the twenty-four thrones elders sitting, clothed in white garments, and on their heads golden wreaths."

¹⁰ the twenty-four elders, also, will be falling before Him Who is sitting on the throne and will be worshiping Him Who is living for the eons of the eons (Amen!). And they are casting their wreaths before the throne, saying,

¹ And I perceived when the Lambkin opens one of the seven seals; and I hear one of the four animals saying, as with a voice of thunder, "Come!"

¹³ And one of the elders answered, saying to me, "These clothed in white robes, who are they, and whence came they?

¹⁶ I, Jesus, send My messenger to testify these things to you in the ecclesias. I am the root and the race of David, the resplendent morning star."
