³ And saying is the Elohim, "Become light!" And it is becoming light. ⁴ And seeing is the Elohim the light, that it is good. And separating is the Elohim between the light and the darkness. ⁵ And calling is the Elohim the light "day, and the darkness He calls "night." And coming is it to be evening and coming to be morning, day one.

⁷ And I set up My covenant between Me and you, and your seed after you, for their generations, for a covenant eonian, to become your Elohim and your seed's after you. ⁸ And I give to you and to your seed after you the land of your sojournings, all the land of Canaan, for a holding eonian. And I become their Elohim.

³¹ You shall not act thus toward Yahweh your Elohim, for every abhorrence which Yahweh hates they perform for their elohim, for even their sons and their daughters they burn with fire for their elohim.

²⁰ Yahweh shall not be willing to pardon him, because then Yahweh's anger and His jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the imprecation that is written in this scroll will lie on him. Yahweh will wipe out his name from under the heavens;"

Whatever is under the entire heavens, it is Mine. ¹² I shall not keep silence about his constitution Or the matter of his grand mastery that is without appraisal. ¹³ Who has rolled back his surface garment? Who can enter through his double cuirass? ¹⁴ Who has opened the doors of his face? ¹ Why are the nations perturbed? And why do the national groups mumble empty phrases? ² The kings of the earth are standing by, And the chancellors are gathered together Against Yahweh and against His Anointed, saying,

⁸ O Yahweh, guide me in Your righteousness on account of those who lie in wait for me. Straighten Your way before me.

³ When I see Your heavens, the works of Your fingers, The moon and stars which You have established,

¹¹ Make melody to Yahweh, the One dwelling in Zion; Tell His activities among the peoples.

¹⁸ For the needy one shall not be forgotten permanently; The expectation of the humbled shall not perish for the future. ¹⁹ Do arise, O Yahweh, let not a mortal prevail; Let the nations be judged at Your presence. ²⁰ Do set fear before them, O Yahweh; Let the nations know they are mortal. {Interlude{ "

¹⁰ O Elohim, have You Yourself not cast us off? And shall You not go forth, O Elohim, with our hosts?

⁷ Becalming the tumult of the seas, The tumult of their billows and clamor of the national groups."

⁶ He turns the sea to dry land. In the stream they are passing on foot. There let us rejoice in Him.

¹⁰ Your living ones, they will dwell in it; You are providing, in Your goodness, for the humble, O Elohim."

¹⁶ Why are you looking askance, lofty mountains, At the mountain Elohim covets for His dwelling? Indeed, Yahweh Himself shall tabernacle there permanently."

⁴ They say, Come, and let us suppress them as a nation, So that the name of Israel shall not be remembered any more."

²⁸ For the eon shall I keep My benignity upon him, And My covenant with him is faithful."

² Lift Yourself up, O Judge of the earth; Turn back a requital upon the proud." ³ How long shall the wicked, O Yahweh, How long shall the wicked be joyous, ⁴ Shall they utter, shall they speak with impertinence, Shall they vaunt themselves, All these contrivers of lawlessness? ⁵ They crush Your people, O Yahweh, And they humble Your allotment." ⁶ They kill the widow and the sojourner, And they murder the orphans." ⁷ They say, Yah is not seeing, And the Elohim of Jacob is not understanding." ⁸ Understand, you irrational ones among the people! And you stupid ones, when shall you act intelligently?

⁷ For He is our Elohim, And we are the people of His pasture And the flock of His hand. Today, if His voice you should hear,

³ Know that Yahweh, He is Elohim; He it is Who has made us, and we are His. His people are we and the flock of His pasture."

¹³ You Yourself shall rise; You shall have compassion on Zion, For it is the era to be gracious to her, Since the appointed time has come." ¹⁴ For Your servants hold her stones dear, And they show favor to her soil."

¹⁹ For He will gaze from His sanctuary on high; Yahweh from the heavens to the earth will look down, ²⁰ To hear the groaning of the prisoner, To unloose the sons of death, ²¹ So that the Name of Yahweh may be recounted in Zion And His praise in Jerusalem,

²⁵ This sea, great and wide on all hands; The creeper is there, and it is numberless, Animals, both small and great;" ²⁶ The sea monsters are going there, The dragon that You have formed to gambol in it."

⁸ He remembers His covenant for the eon, The word He enjoined on a thousand generations,

⁴¹ He opened a rock, and waters gushed out; They flowed into the arid places as a stream."

⁸ Yet He saved them on account of His Name, To make known His masterful deeds." ⁹ He rebuked the Sea of Weeds, and it became drained, And He enabled them to walk through the abyss as through a wilderness."

⁴⁰ So the anger of Yahweh grew hot against His people, And He abhorred His allotment."

⁴⁵ And, for them, He remembered His covenant, So that He was merciful according to His many benignities."

²² For humbled and needy am I, And my heart, it is wounded within me."

¹³ For Yahweh has chosen Zion; He yearns for it as His dwelling place: ¹⁴ This is My resting place unto the future; Here shall I dwell, for I yearn for it."

⁷ Remember, O Yahweh, against Edom's sons, In Jerusalem's day, Those who were saying, Raze it, raze it, Even to its foundation."

¹⁴ My dove, in the encircling crag, In the concealment of the cliff, Let me see your appearance; Let me hear your voice; For your voice is congenial, And your appearance is comely."

²² For Yahweh is our Judge, and Yahweh is our Statute Maker, and Yahweh is our King; He will save us!"

²³ Whom do you reproach and taunt? And against Whom do you raise high your voice? And you are lifting up your eyes to the height against the Holy One of Israel? ²⁴ By the hand of your servants, your messengers, you reproach my Lord! And saying are you, `With a multitude of my chariots I go up the height of the mountains, the flanks of Lebanon, and I will cut the altitude of its cedars, its choice firs, and I will enter the height of its end, the wildwood of its crop land."

²⁹ Because your perturbance against Me and your tumult ascends in My ears, so I will place My gaff in your nose, and My bit in your lips, and I will reverse you by the way in which you came."

²⁷ Saying to the sinkhole, `Be drained.' And `Your streams I will dry.'"

¹⁷ Israel is saved by Yahweh, with a salvation eonian. They shall not be ashamed nor confounded for future eons."

²¹ And they were not thirsty in the deserts in which He conducted them. He caused water from a rock to exude for them. And rending was the rock, and gushing was the water, and My people drink."

⁹ Rouse! Rouse! Clothe yourself with strength, arm of Yahweh! Rouse as in days aforetime, the generations of the eons! Are not You He, the Hewer of the audacious, the Wounder of the monster? ¹⁰ Are not you He, the Drainer of the sea, the waters of the vast submerged chaos? He Who places in the depths of the sea a way for the passing of the redeemed? ¹¹ And the ransomed of Yahweh shall return, and they come to Zion with jubilation, and rejoicing eonian is on their head. Elation and rejoicing shall overtake them, and affliction shall flee, and grief and sighing."

⁵ And now, what is for Me here,averring is Yahweh, "that My people are taken gratuitously? Their rulers are howling,averring is Yahweh, "and continually, the entire day, My name is spurned among the nations."

⁸ Who are these? As a thick cloud are they flying, and as doves to their crevices."

⁴ And they will build the places deserted for an eon; the former desolations shall they raise. And they will renew the cities deserted; the desolations of generation after generation shall they raise.

⁶ Over your walls, Jerusalem, I give the supervision to keepers. All the day and all the night, continually, they shall not hush reminding Yahweh. There must be no stillness for you!" ⁷ And you must not give Him stillness till He shall make ready, and till He shall establish, and till He shall constitute Jerusalem a praise in the earth."

¹² And they call them, "People of the Holy One,Redeemed of Yahweh.And you are called, "City inquired for, not forsaken."

³ The winepress I trod alone, and of the peoples there is no man `with Me, and I am treading them in My anger, and trampling them in My fury, and their gore is spattering on My garments, and all My clothing I sully." ⁴ For the day of vengeance came for them, and the year of My redeemed has come." ⁵ And I am looking, and there is no helper, and I am regarding, and there is no supporter, and My own arm is saving for Me, and My fury, it supports Me!" ⁶ And I am trampling peoples in My anger. And I am making them drunk in My fury, and down to the earth am I bringing their gore."

⁸ And saying is He, "Yea, My people are they, sons who are not dealing falsely.And He is becoming their Saviour, ⁹ in all their distress He is not a foe, not an agent or a messenger, but His presence saved them. In His love, and by His sparing, He, He redeems them, and He will transport and assist them all the days of the eon."

¹⁷ Why are You leading us astray, Yahweh, from Your ways? Making our heart indurate to Your fear? Turn back, on account of Your servants, the tribes of Your allotment."

¹⁰ The cities of Your holy place come to be a wilderness. Zion becomes as a wilderness, Jerusalem a desolation." ¹¹ The house, our holy place, and our beauty, where our forefathers praised You, came to be burned with fire, and all that we covet came to be demolished."

¹ Strengthen yourselves, sons of Benjamin, From the midst of Jerusalem, And in Tekoa blow you a trumpet, And over Beth-Haccerem lift you up a flame, For evil has been seen from the north, And great destruction." ² The comely and the delicate one I have cut off, The daughter of Zion." ³ Unto her come do shepherds and their droves, They have stricken tents by her round about, They have fed each [in] his own station." ⁴ Sanctify you against her the battle, Rise, and we go up at noon. Woe to us, for turned has the day, For stretched out are the shades of evening, ⁵ `Rise, and we go up by night, And we destroy her palaces.'"

¹⁶ Not like these [is] the Portion of Jacob, For framer of all things [is] He, And Israel [is] the rod of His inheritance, Yahweh of Hosts [is] His name."

¹ Woe to shepherds destroying, And scattering the flock of My pasture, An affirmation of Yahweh."

³⁷ Thus said Yahweh:If the heavens above be measured, And the foundations of earth below searched, Even I kick against all the seed of Israel, For all that they have done, An affirmation of Yahweh."

¹¹ Is a voice of joy and a voice of gladness, Voice of bridegroom, and voice of bride, The voice of those saying, Thank Yahweh of Hosts, for Yahweh [is] good, For His kindness [is] to the eon, Who are bringing in thanksgiving to the house of Yahweh, For I turn back the captivity of the land, As at the first, said Yahweh."

²⁰ `Thus said Yahweh:If you do break My covenant of the day, And My covenant of the night, So that they are not daily and nightly in their season, <sup>21</sup> Also My covenant is broken with David My servant, So that he has not a son reigning on his throne, And with the Levites the priests, My ministers." <sup>22</sup> As the host of the heavens is not numbered, Nor the sand of the sea measured, So I multiply the seed of David My servant, And the Levites My ministers.'" <sup>23</sup> And there is a word of Yahweh unto Jeremiah, saying:" <sup>24</sup> `Have you not considered what this people have spoken, saying:The two families on which Yahweh fixed, He does reject them, And my people they despise--So that they are no more a people before them!" ²⁵ Thus said Yahweh:If My covenant [is] not daily and nightly, The statutes of heaven and earth I have not appointed--" ²⁶ Also the seed of Jacob, and David My servant, I reject, Against taking from his seed rulers For the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, For I turn back [to] their captivity, and have pitied them.'"

²² Its voice as a serpent goes on, For with a force they go, And with axes they have come in to her, As hewers of trees." ²³ They have cut down her forest, An affirmation of Yahweh--for it is not searched, For they have been more than the grasshopper, And they have no numbering."

¹⁹ Not like these [is] the portion of Jacob, For He [is] former of all things, And [Israel is] the rod of His inheritance, Yahweh of Hosts [is] His name."

¹³ and he burns the house of Yahweh, and the house of the king, and all the houses of Jerusalem, even every great house he has burned with fire,

¹⁰ The foe has spread out his hand over all her coveted things; Indeed she has seen the nations enter her sanctuary, Concerning whom You had instructed that they should not enter Your assembly."

² Yahweh has swallowed up and has not spared all the oases of Jacob; He has demolished, in His rage, the fortresses of the daughter of Judah; He made them touch the earth; He has profaned the kingdom and its chiefs." ³ He hacked down all the horn of Israel in the heat of anger; He has turned back His right hand in the presence of the enemy; And He is consuming in Jacob like a blazing fire that devours all around.

⁷ Yahweh has cast off His altar; He has disowned His sanctuary; He has surrendered the walls of her citadels into the hand of the enemy. They have raised their voice in the House of Yahweh as on the day of an appointed festival.

⁹ Her gates have sunk into the earth; He destroyed and broke her bars; Her king and her chiefs are among the nations; there is no law. Also her prophets find no vision from Yahweh.

¹⁶ They open their mouth wide at you, all your enemies; They hiss and gnash their teeth; they say, We have swallowed them up! Yea, this is the day that we expected; we have come upon it and have seen it!"

²⁶ Mischief on mischief comes, and report is on report, And they have sought a vision from a prophet, And law does perish from the priest, And counsel from the elders,

¹² And also My sabbaths I have given to them, To be for a sign between Me and them, To know that I [am] Yahweh their sanctifier."

¹⁴ And I do [it] for My name's sake, Not to pollute [it] before the eyes of the nations, Before whose eyes I brought them forth."

²¹ Say to the house of Israel:Thus said the Lord Yahweh:Lo, I am polluting My sanctuary, The excellency of your strength, The desire of your eyes, and the pitied of your soul, And your sons and your daughters whom you have left, by sword they do fall."

³ Speak, and you have said:Thus said the Lord Yahweh:Lo, I [am] against you, Pharaoh king of Egypt! The great dragon that is crouching in the midst of his floods, Who has said, My flood [is] my own, And I--I have made it [for] myself."

² `Son of man, lift up a lamentation for Pharaoh king of Egypt, and you have said unto him:A young lion of nations you have been like, And you [are] as a dragon in the seas, And you come forth with your flowings, And do trouble the waters with your feet, And you do foul their flowings."

⁸ I live--an affirmation of the Lord Yahweh, If not, because of My flock being for a prey, Yea, My flock is for food to every beast of the field, Because there is no shepherd, And My shepherds have not sought My flock, And the shepherds do feed themselves, And My flock they have not fed."

³¹ And you, My flock, the flock of My pasture, Men you [are] --I [am] your Elohim, An affirmation of the Lord Yahweh!'"

²⁷ He is delivering and rescuing. He is doing signs and amazing things in the heavens and on the earth--He Who delivers Daniel from the paws of the lions."

¹¹ Even unto the chief of the host he magnifies himself:Because of him the continuous ritual is disturbed, flung down is all that pertains to the site of His sanctuary, ¹² and the horn is given a host for trespassing against the continuous ritual; thus is he flinging the truth to the earth. And he does this and prospers. ¹³ Now I am hearing one saint speaking. And saying is one other saint to so-and-so, the speaking one, "Till when is the vision of the continuous ritual--the cessation of the sacrifice and the desolating transgression which gives over even the holy place and the host to tramping? ¹⁴ He is answering him, "Till two thousand and three hundred evenings-mornings. Then found just is the holy place."

¹⁷ And now hearken, Lord our Elohim, to the prayer of Thy servant and to his supplications. Light up Thy face over Thy desolated sanctuary on Thy account, my Lord:"

²⁷ Then he will be master of a covenant with many for one seven:At half of the seven, he will cause to cease the sacrifice and the approach present; on a wing of the sanctuary shall be desolating abominations. Till the conclusion of the era the decided conclusion will be poured forth on the desolation."

³¹ Armed forces from him shall stand about, they shall violate the sanctuary, the stronghold, take away the continuous ritual, and give it over to the abomination of desolation."

⁶ I am saying to the man clothed in linen who is above the waters of the waterway, "Till when is the end of the marvels of which you speak, and this cleansing?

¹¹ Behold! the days are coming (averring is my Lord Yahweh), that I will send a famine into the land, not a famine for bread, nor a thirsting for water, but rather for hearing the word of Yahweh."

² Rise! Go to Nineveh, the great city, and call out against it, for the cry of their evil ascends before Me." ³ For behold! Yahweh will fare forth from His place, and He will descend and tread on the fane heights of the land."

⁶ Wherefore night shall be for you, without a vision, and it shall be dark for you, without divining, and the sun shall set on the prophets, and the day shall be somber on them."

¹² Wherefore, due to you, Zion shall be plowed as a field, and Jerusalem shall become rubbish heaps, and the mountain of the house fane heights of a wildwood."

⁹ Your bow was verily naked; sworn are the rods by Your saying. INTERLUDE You are rending the earth with streams;

¹² And I will cause a humble and poor people to remain within you; and they will take refuge in the name of Yahweh.

²³ And Jesus led them about in the whole of Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and heralding the evangel of the kingdom, and curing every disease and every debility among the people.

⁴⁵ so that you may become sons of your Father Who is in the heavens, for He causes His sun to rise on the wicked and the good, and makes it rain on the just and the unjust.

¹⁶ Lo! I am dispatching you as a sheep in the midst of wolves. Become, then, prudent as serpents and artless as doves."

⁷ Now the king is angered, and, sending his troops, destroys those murderers and sets their city in flames."

¹⁵ Whenever, then, you may be perceiving the abomination of desolation, which is declared through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (let him who is reading apprehend!);"

¹⁷ And He taught and said to them, "Is it not written that 'My house a house of prayer shall be called, for all nations'? Yet you make it a burglars' cave."

⁷² To do mercy with our fathers, And to be reminded of His holy covenant, ⁷³ The oath which He swears to Abraham our father, ⁷⁴ To grant to us, being rescued out of the hand of our enemies, To be fearlessly offering divine service to Him" ⁷⁵ In benignity and righteousness in His sight all our days.

³² Do not fear, little flocklet, for it delights your Father to give you the kingdom."

¹ Now there were some present, on the same occasion, reporting to Him concerning the Galileans whose blood Pilate mixes with their sacrifices."

²⁰ Now whenever you may be perceiving Jerusalem surrounded by encampments, then know that her desolation is near."

²⁴ And they shall be falling by the edge of the sword and shall be led into captivity into all nations. And Jerusalem shall be trodden by the nations, until the eras of the nations may be fulfilled."

²⁶ But you are not believing, seeing that you are not of My sheep, according as I said to you." ²⁷ My sheep are hearing My voice, and I know them, and they are following Me." ²⁸ And I am giving them life eonian, and they should by no means be perishing for the eon, and no one shall be snatching them out of My hand." ²⁹ My Father, Who has given them to Me, is greater than all, and no one is able to be snatching them out of My Father's hand." ³⁰ I and the Father, We are one."

¹⁷ although He leaves Himself not without the testimony of good acts, giving showers from heaven and fruitbearing seasons, filling our hearts with nourishment and gladness."

²⁶ Besides, He makes out of one every nation of mankind, to be dwelling on all the surface of the earth, specifying the setting of the seasons and the bounds of their dwelling, for them to be seeking God, if, consequently,

²⁸ Take heed to yourselves and to the entire flocklet, among which the holy spirit appointed you supervisors, to be shepherding the ecclesia of God, which He procures through the blood of His Own."

²⁹ filled with all injustice, wickedness, evil, greed, distended with envy, murder, strife, guile, depravity, whisperers, ³⁰ vilifiers, detesters of God, outragers, proud, ostentatious, inventors of evil things, stubborn to parents, ³¹ unintelligent, perfidious, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:"

¹ I am saying, then, Does not God thrust away His people? May it not be coming to that! For I also am an Israelite, out of Abraham's seed, Benjamin's tribe." ² God does not thrust away His people whom He foreknew. Or have you not perceived in Elijah what the scripture is saying, as he is pleading with God against Israel?

¹⁷ This, then, I am saying and attesting in the Lord: By no means are you still to be walking according as those of the nations also are walking, in the vanity of their mind, ¹⁸ their comprehension being darkened, being estranged from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the callousness of their hearts,

¹⁴ Who gives Himself for us, that He should be redeeming us from all lawlessness and be cleansing for Himself a people to be about Him, zealous for ideal acts."

⁴ God corroborating, both by signs and miracles and by various powerful deeds and partings of holy spirit, according to His will?

¹⁰ For this is the covenant which I shall be covenanting with the house of Israel after those days,the Lord is saying: "Imparting My laws to their comprehension, On their hearts, also, shall I be inscribing them, And I shall be to them for a God, And they shall be to Me for a people."

⁵ Hear, my beloved brethren! Does not God choose the poor in the world, rich in faith and enjoyers of the allotment of the kingdom which He promises to those who are loving Him? ⁶ Yet you dishonor the poor one. Are not the rich tyrannizing over you? And they are drawing you to tribunals.

⁹ And they are singing a new song, saying, "Worthy art Thou to be taking the scroll and to open its seals, For Thou wast slain and dost buy us for God by Thy blood. Out of every tribe and language and people and nation."

¹⁰ And they cry with a loud voice, saying, "Till when, O Owner, holy and true, art Thou not judging and avenging our blood on those dwelling on the earth?

² And the court outside of the temple cast outside, and you should not be measuring it, for it was given to the nations, and the holy city will they be treading forty-two months."

⁶ And it opens its mouth in blasphemies toward God, to blaspheme His name and His tabernacle, and those tabernacling in heaven."

¹² And the sixth pours out his bowl on the great river Euphrates. And its water is dried up that the road of the kings from the orient may be made ready.

¹⁹ And the great city came to be divided into three parts; and the cities of the nations fall. And Babylon the great is brought to remembrance in the sight of God, to give her the cup of the wine of the fury of His indignation."

¹⁴ These will be battling with the Lambkin, and the Lambkin will be conquering them, seeing that It is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those with It are called and chosen and faithful."

² And he lays hold of the dragon, the ancient serpent, who is the Adversary and Satan, and binds him a thousand years."
