Psalms 64:7 Cross References - CLV

⁷ Yet Elohim shall shoot an arrow at them. Suddenly smitings will come on them,

²³ I shall cause evils to sweep up over them; I shall exhaust My arrows among them

⁴² I shall make My arrows drunk with blood, and My sword shall devour flesh, the blood of the one mortally wounded and the captive, from the head of the enemy commanders.

³⁴ And a man has drawn with a bow, in his simplicity, and smites the king of Israel between the joinings and the coat of mail, and he said to his charioteer, `Turn your hand, and take me out from the camp, for I have become sick..

³ And the battle [is] heavy on Saul, and those shooting with the bow find him, and he is wounded by those shooting, ⁴ and Saul said unto the bearer of his weapons, `Draw your sword, and pierce me with it, lest these uncircumcised come--and have abused me.' And the bearer of his weapons has not been willing, for he fears exceedingly, and Saul takes the sword, and falls upon it;" ⁵ and the bearer of his weapons sees that Saul [is] dead, and falls, he also, on the sword, and dies;" ⁶ and Saul dies, and his three sons, and all his house--together they died. ⁷ And all the men of Israel who [are] in the valley see that they have fled, and that Saul and his sons have died, and they forsake their cities and flee, and the Philistines come and dwell in them.

⁴ For the arrows of Him Who Suffices are in me; Their venom is what my spirit has been drinking; Frightenings from Eloah are arrayed against me.

¹² If he does not turn back, He shall hone His sword; He has positioned His bow and is preparing it. ¹³ So He has prepared for him the instruments of death; He makes His arrows flaring ones.

¹⁴ He sent off His arrows, with which He scattered them, And He multiplied bolts of lightning, with which He discomfited them."

⁴ To shoot at the flawless from concealment. Suddenly they shoot at him and do not fear.

¹⁹ How they will become a desolation, as in a moment! They will be swept up; they will be finished by decadence!"

¹⁵ Therefore calamity for him shall come suddenly; He shall be broken instantly, and there will be no healing."

¹ The man receiving reproofs who is still stiff necked Shall be broken in an instant, and there will be no healing."

¹³ wherefore, this depravity will come to you as a falling breach, an extrusion in a wall impregnable, of which, suddenly, in an instant, its break is coming."

¹² He positions His bow and is setting me as a target for the arrow; ¹³ He pierces my innermost being with the sons of His quiver.

⁴⁰ Then two shall be in the field; one is taken along and one left:

⁵⁰ the lord of that slave will be arriving on a day for which he is not hoping, and in an hour which he knows not, ⁵¹ and shall be cutting him asunder, and will be appointing his part with the hypocrites. There shall be lamentation and gnashing of teeth."

² for you yourselves are accurately aware that the day of the Lord is as a thief in the night - thus is it coming! ³ Now whenever they may be saying "Peace and security,then extermination is standing by them unawares, even as a pang over the pregnant, and they may by no means escape."
