¹ {A Davidic Psalm{ {When he was in the wilderness of Judah{ O Elohim, You are my El! Early am I seeking You. My soul thirsts for You. My flesh craves for You, Like a land arid and faint, without water." ² So longing, in the Sanctuary, I envisioned You, Beholding Your strength and Your glory;" ³ For Your benignity is better than life itself. My lips, they shall laud You." ⁴ So shall I bless You in all my life. In Your Name shall I lift up my palms, ⁵ As with fatness and richness my soul shall be satisfied, And with jubilant lips my mouth shall praise." ⁶ When I remember You on my berth, In night vigils shall I soliloquize about You." ⁷ For You became my Help, And in the shadow of Your wings shall I be jubilant." ⁸ My soul clings to You; Your right hand upholds me. ⁹ As for those who are seeking my soul for its ruination, May they come into the nether parts of the earth." ¹⁰ Those who would topple him down by means of the sword, May they become an assigned portion for jackals." ¹¹ Yet the king is rejoicing in Elohim. Everyone who is swearing by Him shall boast, But the mouth of those speaking falsehood shall be held in check. {Permanent{ "

²⁶ And saying is He to him, "Send Me away, for the dawn ascends.And saying is he, "Not letting You go am I save You bless me. ²⁷ And saying is He to him, "What is your name?And saying is he, "Jacob. ²⁸ And saying is He to him, "Not Jacob shall your name be called longer, but rather Israel is your name. For upright are you with the Elohim and with mortals, and are prevailing.

² Yah is my strength and my melody, and He become mine for salvation. This is my El; I shall adorn Him, Elohim of my father, I shall exalt Him.

³ When the people thirsted there for water, the people grumbled against Moses and said: Why is this that you brought us up from Egypt to put me and my sons and my cattle to death by thirst?

¹⁸ Now he said: Show me, I pray, Your glory. ¹⁹ And He said: I shall pass all My goodness before you and proclaim My name, Yahweh, before you; I will be gracious to whom I am being gracious and will have compassion for whom I am having compassion.

³⁰ Yet should Yahweh create an unprecedented creation so that the ground opens wide its mouth, swallows them up with all that belongs to them, and they descend alive to the unseen, then you will know that these mortals have spurned Yahweh. ³¹ It came to be as he finished speaking all these words that the ground which was under them was rent, ³² and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up with their households and all the humans who were with Korah and all the goods. ³³ So they descended, they and all who belonged to them, alive to the unseen; and the earth covered over them, and they perished from the midst of the assembly.

¹³ Yahweh your Elohim shall you fear, and Him only shall you serve, and to Him shall you cling, and by His name shall you swear.

²¹ and she calls the youth I-Chabod, saying, `Honor has removed from Israel,' because of the taking of the ark of Elohim, and because of her father-in-law and her husband. <sup>22</sup> And she said, `Honor has removed from Israel, for the ark of Elohim has been taken..

³⁷ And David said, `Yahweh, who delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, He does deliver me from the hand of this Philistine.' And Saul said unto David, `Go, and Yahweh is with you..

⁵ And Gad the prophet said unto David, `You do not abide in a fortress, go, and you have entered for you the land of Judah;' and David goes and enters the forest of Hareth.

¹⁴ And David abides in the wilderness, in fortresses, and abides in the hill-country, in the wilderness of Ziph; and Saul seeks him all the days, and Elohim has not given him into his hand. ¹⁵ And David sees that Saul has come out to seek his life, and David [is] in the wilderness of Ziph, in a forest. ¹⁶ And Jonathan son of Saul rises, and goes unto David to the forest, and strengthens his hand in Elohim, ¹⁷ and said unto him, `Fear not, for the hand of Saul my father does not find you, and you do reign over Israel, and I am to you for second, and also so knows Saul my father..

²³ And see and know of all the hiding-places where he hides himself, and you have turned back unto me prepared, and I have gone with you, and it has been, if he is in the land, that I have searched him out through all the thousands of Judah.. ²⁴ And they rise and go to Ziph before Saul, and David and his men [are] in the wilderness of Maon, in the plain, at the south of the desolate place. ²⁵ And Saul and his men go to seek, and they declare to David, and he goes down the rock, and abides in the wilderness of Maon; and Saul hears, and pursues after David [to] the wilderness of Maon.

²⁰ `And, now, lo, I have known that you do certainly reign, and the kingdom of Israel has stood in your hand;"

²⁹ And man rises to pursue you and to seek your soul, and the soul of my lord has been bound in the bundle of life with Yahweh your Elohim; as to the soul of your enemies, He does sling them out in the midst of the hollow of the sling.

¹ And the Ziphites come in unto Saul, at Gibeah, saying, `Is not David hiding himself in the height of Hachilah, on the front of the desert?. ² And Saul rises, and goes down unto the wilderness of Ziph, and with him three thousand men, chosen ones of Israel, to seek David in the wilderness of Ziph. ³ And Saul encamps in the height of Hachilah, which [is] on the front of the desert, by the way, and David is abiding in the wilderness, and he sees that Saul has come after him in to the wilderness;"

¹⁰ And David said, `Yahweh lives; except Yahweh does smite him, or his day come that he has died, or into battle he go down, and has been consumed-.

¹⁹ yea, Yahweh gives also Israel with you into the hand of the Philistines, and tomorrow you and your sons [are] with me; also the camp of Israel does Yahweh give into the hand of the Philistines..

¹ And the Philistines are fighting against Israel, and the men of Israel flee from the face of the Philistines, and fall wounded in mount Gilboa, ² and the Philistines follow Saul and his sons, and the Philistines smite Jonathan, and Abinadab, and Malchishua, sons of Saul. ³ And the battle is hard against Saul, and the archers find him--men with bow--and he is pained greatly by the archers;" ⁴ and Saul said to the bearer of his weapons, `Draw your sword, and pierce me with it, lest they come--these uncircumcised--and have pierced me, and rolled themselves on me;' and the bearer of his weapons has not been willing, for he is greatly afraid, and Saul takes the sword, and falls upon it. ⁵ And the bearer of his weapons sees that Saul [is] dead, and he falls--he also--on his sword, and dies with him;" ⁶ and Saul dies, and three of his sons, and the bearer of his weapons, also all his men, on that day together.

²² And Solomon stands before the altar of Yahweh, over-against all the assembly of Israel, and spreads his hands towards the heavens, ²³ and said, `Yahweh, Elohim of Israel, there is not an Elohim like You, in the heavens above, and on the earth beneath, keeping the covenant and the kindness for Your servants, those walking before You with all their heart, <sup>24</sup> who have kept for Your servant David my father that which You spoke to him; yea, You speak with Your mouth, and with Your hand have fulfilled [it], as [at] this day. <sup>25</sup> `And now, Yahweh, Elohim of Israel, keep for Your servant David my father that which You spoke to him, saying, There is not cut off to you a man from before Me, sitting on the throne of Israel--only, if your sons watch their way, to walk before Me as you have walked before Me. ²⁶ `And now, O Elohim of Israel, let it be established, I pray You, Your word which You have spoken to Your servant, David my father. <sup>27</sup> But, is it true? --Elohim dwells on the earth! lo, the heavens, and the heavens of the heavens do not contain You, how much less this house which I have builded!" <sup>28</sup> `Then you have turned unto the prayer of Your servant, and unto his supplication, O Yahweh my Elohim, to hearken unto the cry and unto the prayer which Your servant is praying before You to-day, ²⁹ for Your eyes being open towards this house night and day, towards the place of which You have said, My Name is there; to hearken unto the prayer which Your servant prays towards this place. ³⁰ `Then You have hearkened unto the supplication of Your servant, and of Your people Israel, which they pray towards this place; yea, You do hearken in the place of Your dwelling, in the heavens--and You have hearkened, and have forgiven, <sup>31</sup> that which a man sins against his neighbor, and he has lifted up upon him an oath to cause him to swear, and the oath has come in before Your altar in this house, <sup>32</sup> then You do hear in the heavens, and have done, and have judged Your servants, to declare wicked the wicked, to put his way on his head, and to declare righteous the righteous, to give him according to his righteousness. <sup>33</sup> `In Your people Israel being smitten before an enemy, because they sin against You, and they have turned back unto You, and have confessed Your name, and prayed, and made supplication unto You in this house, ³⁴ then you do hear in the heavens, and have forgiven the sin of Your people Israel, and brought them back unto the ground that You gave to their fathers. ³⁵ `In the heavens being restrained, and there is no rain, because they sin against You, and they have prayed towards this place, and confessed Your name, and from their sin turn back, for You do afflict them, <sup>36</sup> then You do hear in the heavens, and have forgiven the sin of Your servants, and of Your people Israel, for You direct them the good way in which they go, and have given rain on Your land which You have given to Your people for inheritance. <sup>37</sup> `Famine--when it is in the land; pestilence--when it is; blasting, mildew, locust; caterpillar--when it is; when its enemy has distressed it in the land [in] its gates, any plague, any sickness, -. ³⁸ any prayer, any supplication that [is] of any man of all Your people Israel, who know each the plague of his own heart, and has spread his hands towards this house, ³⁹ then You do hear in the heavens, the settled place of Your dwelling, and have forgiven, and have done, and have given to each according to all his ways, whose heart You know, (for You have known--Yourself alone--the heart of all the sons of man), ⁴⁰ so that they fear You all the days that they are living on the face of the ground that You have given to our fathers. ⁴¹ `And also, unto the stranger who is not of Your people Israel, and has come from a land afar off for Your name's sake-. <sup>42</sup> (for they hear of Your great name, and of Your strong hand, and of Your stretched-out arm) --and he has come in and prayed towards this house, <sup>43</sup> You do hear in the heavens, the settled place of Your dwelling, and have done according to all that the stranger calls unto You for, in order that all the peoples of the earth may know Your name, to fear You like Your people Israel, and to know that Your name has been called on this house which I have builded. <sup>44</sup> `When Your people does go out to battle against its enemy, in the way that You do send them, and they have prayed unto Yahweh the way of the city which you have fixed on, and of the house which I have builded for Your name;" ⁴⁵ then You have heard in the heavens their prayer and their supplication, and have maintained their cause. ⁴⁶ `When they sin against You (for there is not a man who sins not), and You have been angry with them, and have given them up before an enemy, and they have taken captive their captivity unto the land of the enemy far off or near;" <sup>47</sup> and they have turned [it] back unto their heart in the land whither they have been taken captive, and have turned back, and made supplication unto You, in the land of their captors, saying, We have sinned and done perversely--we have done wickedly;" <sup>48</sup> yea, they have turned back unto You, with all their heart, and with all their soul, in the land of their enemies who have taken them captive, and have prayed unto You the way of their land, which You gave to their fathers, the city which You have chosen, and the house which I have builded for Your name. <sup>49</sup> `Then You have heard in the heavens, the settled place of Your dwelling, their prayer and their supplication, and have maintained their cause, ⁵⁰ and have forgiven Your people who have sinned against You, even all their transgressions which they have transgressed against You, and have given them mercies before their captors, and they have had mercy [on] them-. ⁵¹ (for Your people and Your inheritance [are] they, whom You did bring out of Egypt, out of the midst of the furnace of iron) -. ⁵² for Your eyes being open unto the supplication of Your servant, and unto the supplication of Your people Israel, to hearken unto them in all they call unto You for;" ⁵³ for You have separated them to Yourself for an inheritance, out of all the peoples of the earth, as You did speak by the hand of Moses Your servant, in Your bringing out our fathers from Egypt, O Lord Yahweh.. ⁵⁴ And it comes to pass, at Solomon's finishing to pray unto Yahweh all this prayer and supplication, he has risen from before the altar of Yahweh, from bending on his knees, and his hands spread out to the heavens, ⁵⁵ and he stands and blesses all the assembly of Israel [with] a loud voice, saying, ⁵⁶ `Blessed [is] Yahweh who has given rest to His people Israel, according to all that He has spoken; there has not fallen one word of all His good word, which He spoke by the hand of Moses his servant. <sup>57</sup> `Yahweh our Elohim is with us as He has been with our fathers; He does not forsake us nor leave us; ⁵⁸ to incline our heart unto Himself, to walk in all His ways, and to keep His commands, and His statutes, and His judgments, which He commanded our fathers;" ⁵⁹ and these my words with which I have made supplication before Yahweh, are near unto Yahweh our Elohim by day and by night, to maintain the cause of His servant, and the cause of His people Israel, the matter of a day in its day;" ⁶⁰ for all the peoples of the earth knowing that Yahweh, He [is] Elohim; there is none else;" ⁶¹ and your heart has been perfect with Yahweh our Elohim, to walk in His statutes, and to keep His commands, as [at] this day.. ⁶² And the king and all Israel with him are sacrificing a sacrifice before Yahweh; ⁶³ and Solomon sacrifices the sacrifice of peace-offerings, which he has sacrificed to Yahweh, oxen, twenty and two thousand, and sheep, a hundred and twenty thousand; and the king and all the sons of Israel dedicate the house of Yahweh. ⁶⁴ On that day has the king sanctified the middle of the court that [is] before the house of Yahweh, for he has made there the burnt-offering, and the present, and the fat of the peace-offerings; for the altar of brass that [is] before Yahweh [is] too little to contain the burnt-offering, and the present, and the fat of the peace-offerings. ⁶⁵ And Solomon makes, at that time, the festival--and all Israel with him, a great assembly from the entering in of Hamath unto the brook of Egypt--before Yahweh our Elohim, seven days and seven days; fourteen days. ⁶⁶ On the eighth day he has sent the people away, and they bless the king, and go to their tents, rejoicing and glad of heart for all the good that Yahweh has done to David His servant, and to Israel His people.

¹¹ Seek you Yahweh and His strength, Seek His face continually.

²¹ and in every work that he has begun for the service of the house of Elohim, and for the law, and for the command, to seek to his Elohim, with all his heart he has wrought and prospered.

¹¹ They responded by praising and acclaiming Yahweh:For He is good, indeed His benignity toward Israel is for the eon. As for all the people, they shouted a loud shout in praising Yahweh because the foundation of the House of Yahweh had been laid. ¹² Many of the older priests and Levites and patriarchal heads who had seen the former House, were lamenting with a loud voice when the foundation of this House was laid before their eyes. Many others raised up the voice in shouting and rejoicing. ¹³ There was no one of the people recognizing the sound of the rejoicing shout from the sound of the lamenting of the people, for the people were shouting a loud shout, and the sound itself was heard even from afar.

¹⁶ Hence there comes to be expectation for the poor, And iniquity, it shuts its mouth.

⁵ Yet if you yourself seek early for El, And to Him Who Suffices you supplicate,

¹³ Bury them in the soil together; Bind up their faces in the burial crypt.

⁶ I will pour a libation on My King, On Zion, My holy mountain.

⁶ Many are saying, Shall anyone show us good? Lift up the light of Your countenance over us, O Yahweh.

³ In the morning You shall hear my voice; In the morning I shall arrange for You and watch.

¹¹ But all those taking refuge in You shall rejoice; They shall be jubilant for the eon. You shall overshadow them, And those loving Your Name shall be glad in You.

¹⁷ The wicked shall return to the unseen, All the nations, forgetful of Elohim.

⁸ Keep me as the pupil of Your eye; Conceal me in the shadow of Your wings

¹⁵ As for me, with justice done, I shall perceive Your face; I will be satisfied, when I awake to Your semblance. {Permanent{ "

³⁵ You gave to me the shield of Your salvation; Your right hand, it braced me, And Your help made me great."

¹ {A Davidic Psalm{ O Yahweh, in Your strength is the king rejoicing, And in Your salvation, how exceedingly is he exulting!"

⁶ For You are setting him for blessings for the future; You are exhilarating him with the rejoicing of Your presence.

⁴ One thing I have asked from Yahweh-- Only it am I seeking:That I may dwell in the House of Yahweh all the days of my life, To perceive the pleasantness of Yahweh, And to make my quest in His Temple."

⁹ O do not conceal Your face from me, O do not turn aside Your servant in anger, You Who have become my Help! O do not abandon me, And do not forsake me, O Elohim of my salvation."

² Hear the voice of my supplications When I implore to You, When I lift up my hands toward Your Innermost Sanctuary."

⁵ For there is only a moment under His anger But a lifetime under His benevolence. In the evening, lamentation may lodge, But in the morning there is jubilant song."

¹² So that one may make melody to You, O my Glory, And may not be still. O Yahweh my Elohim, for the eon shall I acclaim You. {Permanent{ "

¹⁴ Yet I, I trusted in You, O Yahweh; I said, My Elohim are You;"

¹⁸ Let false lips be muted, Those speaking with impertinence against the righteous, In pride and contempt."

⁴ May they be ashamed, And may they be mortified, who are seeking my soul; May they be turned away, And may they be abashed, who are devising evil against me."

²⁶ May those be ashamed and abashed together, Who are rejoicing in my evil lot; May those be clothed with shame and mortification, Who are magnifying themselves against me."

⁷ How precious is Your benignity, O Elohim, So that the sons of humanity may take refuge in the shadow of Your wings." ⁸ They are satiated with the richness of Your House, And You give them the watercourse of Your luxuries to drink;" ⁹ For with You is the fountain of life; In Your light shall we see light.

²⁴ Though he should fall, he shall not be cast forth, For Yahweh is supporting his hand."

¹² Those seeking my soul lay traps, And those seeking after evil to me, they speak woes; The entire day they mumble deceptions."

¹⁴ May they be ashamed and abashed together, who are seeking my soul to sweep it up. May they be turned away backward and be mortified, the ones desiring evil to me."

¹² As for me, in my integrity You uphold me, And You station me before You for the eon."

⁸ By day Yahweh enjoins His benignity, And by night His song is with me, A prayer to the El of my life."

¹¹ Why are you prostrated, O my soul, And why are you discomfited within me? Wait for Elohim, for I shall acclaim Him further, The Grand Salvation of my countenance, and my Elohim."

⁴ Then let me come to the altar of Elohim, To the El of my exultant rejoicing, And I shall acclaim You with the harp, O Elohim, my Elohim."

¹⁵ O Yahweh, open my lips, That my mouth may tell forth Your praise."

³ For aliens, they rise against me, And terrifiers, they seek my soul; They do not set Elohim in front of them. {Interlude{ " ⁴ Behold, Elohim is my Helper; Yahweh is the Grand Supporter of my soul."

¹ {A Davidic Inscribed Psalm{ {When he ran away from the face of Saul into the cave.{ Be gracious to me, O Elohim, be gracious to me; For in You my soul takes refuge, And in the shadow of Your wings shall I take refuge Until the woes pass away."

⁴ Let me sojourn in Your tent for the eons; Let me take refuge in the concealment of Your wings. {Interlude{

⁴ Happy is he whom You are choosing and are bringing near; He shall tabernacle in Your courts. We will be surfeited with the goodness of Your House, The holiness of Your Temple."

¹⁷ To Him I call with my mouth, And He is exalted with my tongue."

²⁴ They have seen Your processions, O Elohim, The processions of my El, my King, in the Sanctuary."

¹⁶ Answer me, O Yahweh, for Your benignity is good; Turn toward me according to Your many compassions."

²³ My lips shall be jubilant when I make melody to You, Even my soul, which You have ransomed."

¹⁷ Until I am coming to the Grand Sanctuary of El; Then I am understanding what is in their hereafter. ¹⁸ Surely You shall set them down in slippery places; You will cast them into ruinations.

²³ Yet I am continually with You; You hold me by my right hand.

²⁵ Who do I have in the heavens but You? And besides You, none do I desire on earth."

⁴ You held open the guardians of my eyes; I was agitated, and I could not speak." ⁵ I took account of the days from aforetime, The years of the eons, saying, ⁶ Let me remember my soliloquy in the night; Let me meditate with my heart. So my spirit searched, saying,

¹³ O Elohim, Your way is in holiness; Who is a great El like our Elohim? ¹⁴ You are the El Who performed a marvel; You made Your strength known among the peoples.

³⁴ Whenever He killed them, then they sought after Him, And they returned and sought early for El."

⁶¹ He sent His strength into captivity, And His beauty into the hand of the foe."

² My soul longs for and even consumes for the courts of Yahweh; My heart and my flesh, they are appealing to the living El."

¹³ For Your benignity over me is great, And You have rescued my soul from the unseen beneath."

² I shall say of Yahweh:My Refuge and my Fastness, My Elohim, in Whom I trust."

¹⁸ If I say, My foot slips! Your benignity, O Yahweh, it is already bracing me."

⁶ Splendor and honor are before Him; Strength and beauty are in His Sanctuary.

³ For my days vanish like smoke, And my bones burn hot like glowing embers." ⁴ My heart is smitten and is drying up like herbage, For I forget to eat my bread." ⁵ Because of the sound of my sighing My bones cling to my flesh.

³³ I will sing to Yahweh throughout my life; I will make melody to my Elohim throughout my future. ³⁴ May my meditation be congenial to Him; I shall rejoice in Yahweh.

⁴ Seek after Yahweh and His strength; Seek His face continually.

⁴² The upright see it, and they rejoice, Yet all iniquity, it will shut its mouth."

¹⁴ Yah is my Strength and my Melody, And He became mine for salvation." ¹⁵ The sound of jubilant song and salvation Comes from the tents of the righteous:Yahweh's right hand does valiantly;

²⁸ You are my El, and I am acclaiming You; My Elohim, I am exalting You."

⁵⁵ I remember Your Name in the night, O Yahweh, That I may keep Your law."

⁸¹ My soul is exhausted looking for Your salvation; I have set my hope in Your word.

¹⁴⁷ I rise before the morning gloaming, that I may implore; I set my hope in Your words." ¹⁴⁸ My wakeful eyes have gone before the night vigils To meditate on Your promise.

² Lift your hands toward the Sanctuary, And bless Yahweh."

³ Praise Yah, for Yahweh is good; Make melody to His Name, for it is pleasant."

¹¹ The glory of Your kingdom, may they affirm, And of Your powerful mastery may they speak,

¹ Praise Yah; Praise Yahweh, O my soul." ² Let me praise Yahweh throughout my life; Let me make melody to my Elohim through all my future.

¹ Praise Yah. Sing to Yahweh a new song, His praise in the assembly of the benign ones." ² May Israel rejoice in its Maker; May the sons of Zion exult in their King. ³ May they praise His Name in chorus; With tambourine and harp may they make melody to Him.

⁵ May the benign ones be joyous in this glory; May they be jubilant upon their beds.

²⁷ When alarm comes upon you like a tumult, And calamity, it arrives upon you like a sweeping whirlwind, When distress and constraint come upon you." ²⁸ Then they shall call me, yet I shall not answer; They shall seek me early, yet shall not find me."

¹⁷ I love those who love me, And those who seek me early find me."

⁴ Draw me after you; let us run; The king would bring me to his chambers. (We would exult and rejoice with you; We do commemorate your affections as better than wine.) The upright love you.

⁸ I adjure you, daughters of Jerusalem, If you find my darling, what shall you tell him? That I am ailing with love?

⁹ The unseen, beneath, is disturbed for you, to meet you at your coming. It rouses for you all the healers, all the he-goats of the earth. It raises from their thrones all the kings of the nations."

¹⁵ Yea, to the unseen shall you be brought down, to the flanks of a crypt!"

¹⁹ yet you were flung from your tomb as a scion abhorrent, as many who were killed, spurred with a sword, who went down to the stones of the crypt as a corpse being trampled."

¹⁸ In that day, five cities in the land of Egypt shall come to speak the lip of Canaan, and swear to Yahweh of hosts. "A devoted city,will be said of one."

⁶ And Yahweh of hosts makes for all peoples, in this mountain, a feast of oils, a feast of lees, of oils from marrows, of filtered lees."

⁹ With my soul I yearn for You in the night. Indeed, with my spirit within me I will seek You early. For as a light are Your judgments to the earth, the dwellers of the habitance learn righteousness."

² And a man becomes as a hiding place from the wind, and a concealment from the storm, as rillets of water in an arid place, as the shadow of a massive crag in a faint-making desert land."

⁷ And the seared sink becomes a pond, and the thirsty land has fonts of water. In the homestead of jackals shall be a morass, an environ for reed and papyrus."

¹⁰ You must not fear, for I am with you, and you must not take heed for yourself, for I am your Elohim. I make you resolute; indeed, I help you. Indeed, I uphold you with the right hand of My righteousness.'"

¹⁸ I will open up streams on ridges, and in the midst of valleys, springs. I will convert the wilderness into a pond of water, and arid land into vents of water."

¹ Behold My Servant! I am upholding Him. My Chosen! Accepted by My soul! I bestow My spirit upon Him, and He shall bring forth judgment to the nations."

²³ By Myself I swear. From My mouth fares forth righteousness, and My word shall not be recalled. For to Me shall bow every knee, and every tongue shall acclaim to Elohim."

¹³ Its glory does Lebanon give to you, and to you it shall come; the fir, and the elm, and the box tree together, to beautify the place of My sanctuary, when the place of My feet will I glorify."

¹⁶ The one blessing himself in the land, shall bless himself by the Elohim of truth, and the one swearing in the land, shall swear by the Elohim of truth. "For forgotten are the former distresses, for they are concealed also from My eyes."

²¹ Therefore, give up their sons to famine, And cause them to run on the sides of the sword, And their wives are bereaved and widows, And their men are slain by death, Their young men smitten by sword in battle,

¹ At that time, an affirmation of Yahweh, I am for Elohim to all families of Israel, And they--they are to Me for a people."

⁴ Again do I build you, And you have been built, O virgin of Israel, Again you put on your tabrets, And have gone out in the chorus of the playful."

³³ For this [is] the covenant that I make, With the house of Israel, after those days, An affirmation of Yahweh, I have given My law in their inward part, And on their heart I do write it, And I have been to them for Elohim, And they are to me for a people."

¹⁹ Arise, make appeal in the night at the beginning of the vigils; Pour out your heart like water before the presence of Yahweh; Lift your palms to Him for the soul of your infants who droop in famine at the head of every street."

Go down, and be laid with the uncircumcised." ²⁰ In the midst of the pierced of the sword they fall, [To] the sword she has been given, They drew her out, and all her multitude." ²¹ Speak to him, do the els of the mighty out of the midst of sheol, With his helpers--they have gone down, They have lain with the uncircumcised, The pierced of the sword." ²² There [is] Asshur, and all her assembly, Round about him [are] his graves, All of them [are] wounded, who are falling by sword, ²³ Whose graves are appointed in the sides of the pit, And her assembly is round about her grave, All of them wounded, falling by sword, Because they gave terror in the land of the living." ²⁴ There [is] Elam, and all her multitude, Round about [is] her grave, All of them wounded, who are falling by sword, Who have gone down uncircumcised unto the earth--the lower parts, Because they gave their terror in the land of the living, And they bear their shame with those going down to the pit." ²⁵ In the midst of the wounded they have appointed a bed for her with all her multitude, Round about him [are] her graves, All of them uncircumcised, pierced of the sword, For their terror was given in the land of the living, And they bear their shame with those going down to the pit, In the midst of the pierced he has been put." ²⁶ There [is] Meshech, Tubal, and all her multitude, Round about him [are] her graves, All of them uncircumcised, pierced of the sword, For they gave their terror in the land of the living, ²⁷ And they lie not with the mighty, Who are falling of the uncircumcised, Who have gone down to sheol with their weapons of war, And they put their swords under their heads, And their iniquities are on their bones, For the terror of the mighty [is] in the land of the living." ²⁸ And you, in the midst of the uncircumcised are broken, And do lie with the pierced of the sword." ²⁹ There [is] Edom, her kings, and all her princes, Who have been given up in their might, With the pierced of the sword, They with the uncircumcised do lie, And with those going down to the pit." ³⁰ There [are] princes of the north, All of them, and every Zidonian, Who have gone down with the pierced in their terror, Of their might they are ashamed, And they lie uncircumcised with the pierced of the sword, And they bear their shame with those going down to the pit." ³¹ Then does Pharaoh see, And he has been comforted for all his multitude, The pierced of the sword--Pharaoh and all his force, An affirmation of the Lord Yahweh." ³² For I have given his terror in the land of the living, And he has been laid down in the midst of the uncircumcised, With the pierced of the sword--Pharaoh, and all his multitude, An affirmation of the Lord Yahweh!'"

⁵ Because of your having an enmity eonian, And you do saw the sons of Israel, By the hands of the sword, In the time of their calamity, In the time of the iniquity of the end:"

⁴ On mountains of Israel you fall, You, and all your bands, and the peoples who [are] with you, To ravenous fowl--a bird of every wing, And [to] a beast of the field, I have given you for food."

¹⁷ And you, son of man, thus said the Lord Yahweh:Say to the bird--every wing, and to every beast of the field:Be assembled and come in, Be gathered from round about, For My sacrifice that I am sacrificing for you, A great sacrifice on mountains of Israel, And you have eaten flesh, and drunk blood." ¹⁸ Flesh of the mighty you do eat, And blood of princes of the earth you drink, Of rams, of lambs, and of he-goats, Of calves, fatlings of Bashan--all of them." ¹⁹ And you have eaten fat to satiety, And you have drunk blood--to drunkenness, Of My sacrifice that I sacrificed for you." ²⁰ And you have been satisfied at My table with horse and rider, Mighty man, and every man of war, An affirmation of the Lord Yahweh."

¹⁵ For I will go and return to My place till they are pleading guilty, and they seek My face. In their distress they will seek Me early, saying:"

² Take words with you and return to Yahweh, your Elohim; say to Him:Wilt You bear away all the depravity? Take the good, and we will repay with the fruit of our lips."

¹⁰ seeing You, the mountains are travailing, the storm of waters passes, the submerged chaos gives forth its voice; it lifts it hands on high."

⁵ and those worshiping on the house tops to the host of the heavens, and those worshiping--swearing to Yahweh and swearing by their king,

⁹ And I will bring the third into the fire. And I will refine them as silver is refined. And I will test them as gold is tested. It shall call in My name, and I will answer it. I will say, My people is it. And it will say, Yahweh is my Elohim."

³³ Yet seek first the kingdom and its righteousness, and these all shall be added to you."

¹² Now, from the days of John the baptist hitherto, the kingdom of the heavens is being violently forced and the violent are snatching it."

⁴³ Now, whenever the unclean spirit may be coming out from a man, it is passing through waterless places seeking rest, and is not finding it."

²⁴ Be struggling to be entering through the cramped door, for I am saying to you, many will be seeking to enter and will not be strong enough."

⁵ surely, because of the weariness this widow is affording me, I shall be avenging her, lest she, coming, may belabor me into a consummation.'" ⁶ Now the Lord said, "Hear what the unjust judge is saying." ⁷ Yet should not God by all means be doing the avenging of His chosen ones, who are imploring Him day and night? And He is patient with them."

³⁷ Now on the last, the great day of the festival, Jesus stood and cries, saying, "If anyone should be thirsting, let him come to Me and drink."

¹⁷ which is the term for "Teacher.Jesus is saying to her, "Do not touch Me, for not as yet have I ascended to My Father. Now go to My brethren, and say to them that I said, 'Lo! I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and My God and your God.'"

²⁵ out of these two to take the place of this dispensation and apostleship, from which Judas transgressed, to be gone into his own place."

¹⁹ Now we are aware that, whatever the law is saying, it is speaking to those under the law, that every mouth may be barred, and the entire world may become subject to the just verdict of God,

¹⁹ As a man am I saying this, because of the infirmity of your flesh. For even as you present your members as slaves to Uncleanness and to Lawlessness for lawlessness, thus now present your members as slaves to Righteousness for holiness."

¹ I am entreating you, then, brethren, by the pities of God, to present your bodies a sacrifice, living, holy, well pleasing to God, your logical divine service,

²⁰ For you are bought with a price. By all means glorify God in your body.

¹⁰ Who rescues us from a death of such proportions, and will be rescuing; on Whom we rely that He will still be rescuing also;"

⁴ in whom the god of this eon blinds the apprehensions of the unbelieving so that the illumination of the evangel of the glory of Christ, Who is the Image of the invisible God, does not irradiate them." ⁵ For we are not heralding ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, yet ourselves your slaves because of Jesus, ⁶ for the God Who says that, out of darkness light shall be shining, is He Who shines in our hearts, with a view to the illumination of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ."

²³ (Yet I am being pressed out of the two, having a yearning for the solution and to be together with Christ, for it, rather, is much better.)"

¹² So that, my beloved, according as you always obey, not as in my presence only, but now much rather in my absence, with fear and trembling, be carrying your own salvation into effect, ¹³ for it is God Who is operating in you to will as well as to work for the sake of His delight.

²⁹ for which I am toiling also, struggling in accord with His operation, which is operating in me with power."

¹⁰ For many are insubordinate, vain praters and imposters, especially those of the Circumcision, ¹¹ who must be gagged, who are subverting whole households, teaching what they must not, on behalf of sordid gain."

¹³ For God, promising Abraham, since He had no one greater to swear by, swears by Himself,

¹⁵ Through Him, then, we may be offering up the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of lips avowing His name."

⁵ Thus the tongue, also, is a little member and is grandiloquent. Lo! What amount of fire is kindling what amount of material!" ⁶ And the tongue is a fire, a world of injustice. The tongue is constituted among our members that which is spotting the whole body, and setting the wheel of our lineage aflame, and is set aflame by Gehenna." ⁷ For every nature, both of wild beasts and flying creatures, both of reptiles and those of the salt sea, is tamed and has been tamed by human nature." ⁸ Yet the tongue can no man tame - a turbulent evil, distended with death-carrying venom." ⁹ With it we are blessing the Lord and Father, and with it we are cursing men who have come to be in accord with God's likeness." ¹⁰ Out of the same mouth is coming forth blessing and cursing. There is no need, my brethren, for this to become thus."

² Beloved, now are we children of God, and it was not as yet manifested what we shall be. We are aware that, if He should be manifested, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him according as He is."

¹⁶ They shall not be hungering longer, nor yet shall they be thirsting any longer; no, neither should the sun be falling on them, nor any heat, ¹⁷ seeing that the throne-centered Lambkin shall be shepherding them, and shall be guiding them to living springs of water, and every tear shall God be brushing away from their eyes."

⁵ And a voice came out from the throne, saying, "Praise our God, all His slaves, and those who are fearing Him, the small and the great." ⁶ And I hear as it were the voice of a vast throng, and as it were the sound of many waters, and as it were the sound of strong thunders, saying, "Hallelujah! for the Lord our God, the Almighty reigns!" ⁷ We may be rejoicing and exulting and will be giving glory to Him, for the wedding of the Lambkin came, and Its bride makes herself ready."

¹⁷ And I perceived another messenger, standing in the sun. And he cries with a loud voice, saying to all the birds which are flying in mid-heaven, "Hither! Be gathered for the great dinner of God, ¹⁸ that you may be eating the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of the strong, and the flesh of horses and of those sitting on them, and the flesh of all freemen as well as slaves, and of small and of great."
