⁴ A king by right judgment makes a country stand firm, Yet a man greedy for heave offerings pulls it down."

¹³ And Samuel said unto Saul, `You have been foolish; you have not kept the command of Yahweh your Elohim, which He commanded you, for now had Yahweh established your kingdom over Israel unto the eon;"

¹⁵ And David reigns over all Israel, and David is doing judgment and righteousness to all his people,

¹² And Solomon has sat on the throne of David his father, and his kingdom is established greatly,

¹⁸ And he does the evil in the eyes of Yahweh, he has turned not aside from the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat that he caused Israel to sin, all his days. ¹⁹ Pul king of Asshur has come against the land, and Menahem gives to Pul a thousand talents of silver, for his hand being with him to strengthen the kingdom in his hand. ²⁰ And Menahem brings out the silver [from] Israel, [from] all the mighty men of wealth, to give to the king of Asshur, fifty shekels of silver for each one, and the king of Asshur turns back and has not stayed there in the land.

⁸ Let Yahweh your Elohim be blessed who has delighted in you, to put you on His throne for king for Yahweh your Elohim; in the love of your Elohim to Israel, to establish it to the eon, He has put you over them for king, to do judgment and righteousness..

¹⁴ Righteousness and right judgment are the basis of Your throne; Benignity and truth stand before Your presence.

⁴ And the strong King, Who loves right judgment! You Yourself have established equity; You Yourself have executed right judgment and righteousness in Jacob."

¹⁵ By me kings reign, And chancellors make statutes of righteousness."

¹² It is an abhorrence to kings to do wickedness, For by righteousness is a throne established."

⁸ A king sitting on his throne of adjudication Winnows out all evil with his eyes.

¹⁴ If a king judges the poor in truth, His throne shall be established for the future."

⁷ To the increase of the chieftainship, and to the welfare shall be no end. On the throne of David, and over his kingdom, to prepare it, and to brace it with judgment and with justice, henceforth and in the future eon. The zeal of Yahweh of hosts will do this."

⁸ Thus says Yahweh, "In a season acceptable I answer you. And in a day of salvation I help you. And I will preserve you, and give you for a covenant of the people, to set up the land, to allot the desolated allotments,

¹³ Woe to him who is building his house by unrighteousness, And his upper chambers by injustice, On his neighbor he lays service for nought, And his wage he does not give to him." ¹⁴ Who is saying, `I build for myself a large house, And airy upper chambers,' And he has cut out for himself its windows, Ceiled with cedar, and painted with vermilion." ¹⁵ Do you reign, because you are fretting yourself in cedar? Your father--did he not eat and drink? Yea, he did judgment and righteousness, Then [it is] well with him." ¹⁶ He decided the cause of the poor and needy, Then [it is] well--is it not to know Me? An affirmation of Yahweh." ¹⁷ But your eyes and your heart are not, Except on your dishonest gain, And on shedding of innocent blood, And on oppression, and on doing of violence."

²⁰ Then stands in his post out of his root a royal sprout who has an exactor to pass among the honorable of the kingdom. Yet in some days he will be broken, not in anger and not in battle."

³ Both palms are set upon the evil to do it thoroughly:The chief is asking, also the judge, for a repayment, and the great one, he is speaking the woe of his soul. And they are entwining it."
