²⁴ There is one who disperses yet is enhanced more, And another who keeps back more than what is upright yet ends only with a lack."

¹⁰ You shall give, yea give to him, and your heart shall not feel bad at your giving to him. For owing to this matter Yahweh your Elohim shall bless you in all your work and in every undertaking of your hand.

⁹ He disperses; he gives to the needy; His righteousness is standing into the future; His horn shall be exalted in glory.

¹⁸ The wicked one makes false wages, Yet he who sows righteousness reaps faithful hire."

¹⁷ He who is gracious to a poor man obligates Yahweh, And He shall pay his requital to him."

⁸ He who increases his wealth by interest and by increase Is getting it together for him who is gracious to the poor.

¹ Send forth your bread on the surface of the water, For after many days you shall find it." ² Give a portion to seven, yea even to eight, For you do not know what evil may come upon the earth."

⁶ Sow your seed in the morning, and do not let your hand rest at evening, For you have no knowledge wherein this may succeed, whether this or that, Or whether both of them are alike good."

⁶ You have sown for increase, yet it brings in little. You eat, yet without satisfaction; drink, yet without gratification; are clothed, yet without warmth to it. And the hireling's hire goes into a pierced pouch."

⁹ You face about for increase, and behold it is little! Yet you bring it home, and I blow on it. Because of what? (averring is Yahweh of hosts). Because of My house! It is deserted, yet you are running, each to his own house!" ¹⁰ Therefore, over you the heavens shut up the night mist, and the earth shuts up its crop." ¹¹ And I am calling for a drought on the land and on the mountains and on the grain and on the grape juice and on the clarified oil and all which the ground is bringing forth, and on human and on beast and on all the labor of their palms."

And have the vine and the fig tree and the pomegranate and the olive tree still not borne? From this day will I bless.

³⁸ be giving, and it shall be given to you: a measure ideal, squeezed down and shaken together and running over, shall they be giving into your bosom. For the same measure with which you are measuring will be measured to you again."

²⁹ Now according as any of the disciples thrived, each of them designate something to send to the brethren dwelling in Judea, for dispensing;" ³⁰ which they do also, dispatching to the elders through the hand of Barnabas and Saul."

⁵ I deem it necessary, then, to entreat the brethren that they may be coming before to you and should be adjusting beforehand your bounty as promised before. This to be ready thus, as a bounty and not as greed, ⁶ yet as this: who is sowing sparingly, sparingly shall be reaping also, and who is sowing bountifully, bountifully shall be reaping also, ⁷ each according as he has proposed in his heart, not sorrowfully, nor of compulsion, for the gleeful giver is loved by God." ⁸ Now God is able to lavish all grace on you, that, having all contentment in everything always, you may be superabounding in every good work, ⁹ according as it is written, He scatters, He gives to the drudges, His righteousness remains for the eon." ¹⁰ Now may He Who is supplying seed to the sower, and bread for food, be furnishing and multiplying your seed and be making the product of your righteousness grow, ¹¹ being enriched in everything, for all the generosity, which is producing through us thanksgiving to God,
