⁶ Like the watercourses are they stretched out, like gardens along a stream, like the aloes Yahweh has planted, like the cedars beside the waters.

⁸ And planting is Yahweh Elohim a garden in Eden, in the east, and He is placing there the human whom He forms. ⁹ And furthermore sprouting is Yahweh Elohim from the ground every tree coveted by the sight and good for food, and the tree of the living in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. ¹⁰ And a stream is faring forth from Eden to irrigate the garden, and thence it is being parted and comes to four heads.

¹⁰ And lifting is Lot his eyes and is seeing all the basin of the Jordan, for all of it was irrigated before Yahweh wrecked Sodom and Gomorrah, as the garden of Yahweh Elohim, as the land of Egypt as you come to Zoar.

³ So he comes to be like a tree transplanted by rillets of water, That yields its fruit in its season, And its leaf does not decay; Hence all that he does shall prosper.

⁸ All Your garments are myrrh and aloes and cassia; From ivory palaces, lutes rejoice You."

¹² The righteous one shall bud like a palm tree; Like a cedar in Lebanon, he shall grow great." ¹³ Those transplanted into the House of Yahweh, They shall bud in the courts of our Elohim." ¹⁴ They shall still produce when greyhaired; They shall be sleek and flourishing,

¹⁶ The trees of Yahweh are satisfied, The cedars of Lebanon which He planted,

¹² You are a garden latched, my sister, O bride, A garden latched, a spring sealed." ¹³ Your runners form a park of pomegranates, With finest fruit, Henna blossoms with nards, ¹⁴ Nard and saffron, reed and cinnamon, With all the woods of frankincense, myrrh and aloes, With all the topmost aromatics." ¹⁵ You are a spring for gardens, A well of living waters, Even those flowing from Lebanon."

¹¹ I descended to the walnut garden To see the pollination about the watercourse, To see whether the vine had budded And pomegranates had flowered."

¹⁹ I will bestow the cedar in the wilderness, the acacia and the myrtle and the oleaster tree. I will place the fir in the gorge, the elm and the box together,

¹¹ And you are guided by Yahweh continually, and He satisfies, on a garish day, your soul. And your bones will He liberate. And you become as a soaked garden, and as a vent of water whose waters are not defaulting."

¹⁸ Let my pursuers be ashamed, and let not me be ashamed--me! Let them be affrighted, and let not me be affrighted--me! Bring in on them a day of evil, And a second time [with] destruction destroy them."

¹² And they have come in, And have sung in the high place of Zion, And flowed unto the goodness of Yahweh, For wheat, and for new wine, and for oil, And for the young of the flock and herd, And their soul has been as a watered garden, And they add not to grieve any more."

³ Lo, Asshur, a cedar in Lebanon, Fair in branch, and shading bough, and high in stature, And between thickets has its foliage been." ⁴ Waters have made it great, The deep has exalted him with its flowings, Going round about its planting, And its conduits it has sent forth unto all trees of the field."

¹² And by the stream there comes up on its edge, on this side and on that side, every [kind of] fruit-tree whose leaf fades not, and not consumed is its fruit, according to its months it yields first-fruits, because its waters from the sanctuary are coming forth; and its fruits has been for food, and its leaf for medicine."

¹⁸ And it shall come in that day, the mountains shall drop with juice, and the hills shall flow with milk. All the channels of Judah shall flow with water, and a spring from the house of Yahweh shall fare forth, and it irrigates the watercourse Shittim."
