¹ then Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses concerning the case of the Cushite woman whom he took (for he had taken a Cushite woman). ² They said:Is it but only through Moses that Yahweh speaks? Does He not also speak through us? And Yahweh heard. ³ Now the man Moses was exceedingly humble, more than any human who was on the surface of the ground. ⁴ Yahweh said suddenly to Moses, to Aaron and to Miriam:Come forth, you three, to the tent of appointment. And the three of them went forth. ⁵ Yahweh descended in the column of cloud and stood at the opening of the tent and called Aaron and Miriam. And the two of them went forth. ⁶ He said:Oh hear My words. If there were a prophet among you, I, Yahweh, in an appearance shall make Myself known to him; in a dream shall I speak to him. ⁷ Not so with My servant Moses. In My whole house he is faithful. ⁸ Mouth to mouth am I speaking with him, and manifestly, not in enigmas, so that he looks at a representation of Yahweh. So for what reason did you not fear to speak against My servant, against Moses? ⁹ The anger of Yahweh grew hot against them, and He went away. ¹⁰ When the cloud withdrew from above the tent, behold, Miriam was leprous as snow. Aaron turned around to Miriam, and behold, she was leprous. ¹¹ Aaron said to Moses, O! my lord, do not, I pray, set against us the sin in which we were foolish and with which we have sinned. ¹² Oh do not let her be as the dead child of which, when it comes forth from the womb of its mother, half its flesh is devoured. ¹³ Then Moses cried to Yahweh, saying:El, I pray heal her, I pray!" ¹⁴ Yahweh said to Moses:Had her father spit, yea spit in her face, would she not be put to shame seven days? She shall be locked out seven days outside the camp, and thereafter shall she be gathered in. ¹⁵ So Miriam was locked out outside the camp seven days. Yet the people did not journey until Miriam was gathered in. ¹⁶ Thereafter the people journeyed from Hazeroth and encamped in the wilderness of Paran.

³ and adjure you will I by Yahweh, the Elohim of the heavens and the Elohim of the earth, that you will not take a wife for my son Isaac from the daughters of the Canaanite near whom I am dwelling,

³⁷ And adjuring me is my lord saying, `You shall not take a wife for my son from the daughters of the Canaanite, in whose land I dwell,

³⁴ And coming is Esau to be forty years old when he is taking as wife Judith, the daughter of Beeri, the Hittite, and Bashemath, the daughter of Elon, the Hivite. ³⁵ And coming are they to be a bitterness of spirit to Isaac and Rebecca.

⁴⁶ And saying is Rebecca to Isaac, "Irritated am I in my life because of the presence of the daughters of the sons of Heth. Should Jacob take a wife such as these from the daughters of Heth, from the daughters of the land, what has life for me?

⁶ And seeing is Esau that Isaac blesses Jacob and sends him to Padan, Syria, to take thence a wife for himself, and, in his blessing him, he is also instructing him, saying, "You shall not take a wife from the daughters of Canaan, ⁷ and that Jacob is hearkening to his father and to his mother, and is going to Padan, Syria. ⁸ And seeing is Esau that evil are the daughters of Canaan in the eyes of Isaac, his father. ⁹ And going is Esau to Ishmael, and taking Mahalath, a daughter of Ishmael, Abraham's son, sister of Nebaioth, to his wives, for his wife.

¹⁴ And saying are Simeon and Levi, Dinah's brothers, sons of Leah, to them, "We cannot do this thing, to give our sister to a man who has a foreskin, for a reproach is that to us. ¹⁵ Yea, in this consent will we to you and dwell among you, if you become as we are by circumcising your every male.

⁴⁵ And calling is Pharaoh Joseph's name Zaphnath-paaneah. And giving him is he Asenath, daughter of Potiphera, priest of On, for a wife. And forth is Joseph faring over the land of Egypt.

¹⁶ Now the priest of Midian had seven daughters, and they came, drew out water and filled the troughs to let their father's flock drink.

²¹ Hence Moses was disposed to dwell with the man. He gave Zipporah, his daughter, to Moses for a wife.

¹⁶ If you would take of his daughters for your sons and give your daughters to their sons, then his daughters would prostitute after their elohim and cause your sons to prostitute after their elohim.

¹⁴ A widow or one driven out or violated or prostituting, these he shall not take, but rather a virgin from his kinsmen shall he take for a wife,

³⁶ And the enemies of a man are those of his household.

⁴⁸ Yet He, answering, said to the one saying it to Him, "Who is My mother, and who are My brothers?

⁵ For not even His brothers believed in Him.

²⁰ Remember the word which I said to you, 'A slave is not greater than his lord.' If Me they persecute, you they will be persecuting also. If My word they keep, yours also will they be keeping."

¹⁶ So that I have become your enemy by being true to you!

³³ And pregnant is Leah again, and is bearing a second son for Jacob. And saying is she, "For hearing is Yahweh that hated am I, and giving to me is He this one, moreover.And calling is she his name Simeon.

³⁰ Aaron spoke all the words which Yahweh had spoken to Moses, and he did the signs before the eyes of the people.

¹ Afterward Moses and Aaron entered and said to Pharaoh: Thus says Yahweh the Elohim of Israel, Dismiss My people that they may celebrate to Me in the wilderness.

¹⁰ Moses and Aaron entered to Pharaoh and did so, just as Yahweh had instructed. Aaron flung his rod before Pharaoh and before his servants, and it became a snake.

²⁰ Then Miriam, the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took the tambourine in her hand, and all the women went forth after her with tambourines and with choruses. ²¹ And Miriam responded to them: Sing to Yahweh, for He is august, yea august: The horse and its rider He heaved into the sea.

¹ The people became like complainers, evil in the ears of Yahweh. Yahweh hearkened and His anger grew hot, and the fire of Yahweh consumed some among them and devoured the outmost part of the camp.

²⁹ Yet Moses said to him:Are you zealous for my sake? O that all the people of Yahweh were prophets! For Yahweh put His spirit on them.

³ They assembled against Moses and against Aaron and said to them:Enough of you! For the whole congregation, all of them are holy, and in their midst is Yahweh; so for what reason are you lifting yourselves up over the assembly of Yahweh?

²⁷ and the mourning passes by, and David sends and gathers her unto his house, and she is to him for a wife, and bears to him a son; and the thing which David has done is evil in the eyes of Yahweh.

⁴ `It may be Yahweh your Elohim does hear all the words of the chief of the butlers with which the king of Asshur his lord has sent him to reproach the living Elohim, and has decided concerning the words that Yahweh your Elohim has heard, and you have lifted up prayer for the remnant that is found..

⁷ They say, Yah is not seeing, And the Elohim of Jacob is not understanding." ⁸ Understand, you irrational ones among the people! And you stupid ones, when shall you act intelligently? ⁹ The One Who planted the ear, shall He not hear? Or the One Who formed the eye, shall He not look?

¹⁰ Surely arrogance produces strife, Yet wisdom is found with those taking counsel."

⁴ Perhaps Yahweh, your Elohim, will hear the words of the grand cupbearer, whom the king of Assyria, his lord, sends to reproach the living Elohim, and He will correct him, in view of the words which Yahweh, your Elohim, hears, and you will lift up a prayer to Yahweh, your Elohim, about the remnant that is being found in this city.'"

¹² And you have known that I--Yahweh, I have heard all your despisings that you have spoken Against mountains of Israel, saying:A desolation, to us they were given for food." ¹³ And you magnify yourselves against Me with your mouth, And have made abundant against Me your words, I--I have heard."

⁴ For I brought you up from the land of Egypt, and from the house of servants I ransomed you. And I am sending before you Moses, Aaron and Miriam."

³ For I am saying, through the grace which is given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to be overweening, beyond what your disposition must be, but to be of a sane disposition, as God parts to each the measure of faith."

¹⁰ Let us have fond affection for one another with brotherly fondness, in honor deeming one another first,

³ nothing according with faction, nor yet according with vainglory - but with humility, deeming one another superior to one's self,

¹⁴ All be doing without murmurings and reasonings,

⁵ Likewise, younger men may be subject to the elder, yet all wear the servile apron of humility with one another, for God "is resisting the proud, yet is giving grace to the humble."

¹⁰ Moses heard the people lamenting by its families, each man at the opening of his tent. And the anger of Yahweh grew exceedingly hot, and in the eyes of Moses it was evil. ¹¹ Moses said to Yahweh:Why have You dealt evil to Your servant? And why have I not found grace in Your eyes that You placed the load of all this people on me? ¹² Was I myself pregnant with all this people, or did I generate it, that You should say to me:Carry it in your bosom just as a foster-father carries a suckling child, to the ground about which You had sworn to their fathers? ¹³ From where would I find flesh to give to all this people? For they are lamenting to me, saying:Do give us flesh and let us eat. ¹⁴ I am not able, by myself alone, to bear all this people, for it is too heavy for me. ¹⁵ So if thus You are doing to me, kill me, I pray, yea kill me. If I have found grace in Your eyes then do not let me see Your evil.

¹⁰ Moses and Aaron assembled the assembly before the crag, and he said to them:Hear, I pray, you rebels! From this crag shall we bring forth water for you? ¹¹ When Moses raised up his hand and smote the crag with his rod twice, then much water came forth, and the congregation and their livestock drank. ¹² Yet Yahweh said to Moses and to Aaron:Because you did not believe in Me to sanctify Me before the eyes of the sons of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land which I will give to them.

³² They prompted wrath at the waters of Meribah, And it was evil for Moses for their sake" ³³ Because they provoked his spirit, And he talked rashly with his lips."

⁶ Yahweh is bolstering up the humbled ones, Abasing the wicked to the earth."

⁴ For Yahweh is placing approval on His people; He is making the humble beautiful with salvation.

⁵ "Happy are the meek, for they shall be enjoying the allotment of the land.

²⁹ Lift My yoke upon you and be learning from Me, for meek am I and humble in heart, and you shall be finding rest in your souls,

⁵ Say to the daughter of Zion, Lo! your King is coming to you, Meek, and mounted on an ass, And on a colt, the foal of a yokebeast."

¹ Now I, Paul, myself am entreating you, through the meekness and leniency of Christ, who, as to personal appearance, indeed, am humble among you, yet, being absent, have courage toward you. "

⁵ For I am reckoning to be deficient in nothing pertaining to the paramount apostles.

¹¹ I have become imprudent; you compel me. For I ought to be commended by you, for I am not deficient in anything pertaining to the paramount apostles, even if I am nothing. "

⁷ But we became gentle in your midst, as a nurse should be cherishing her own children."

² For we all are tripping much. If anyone is not tripping in word, this one is a perfect man, able to bridle the whole body also." ³ Now if we are thrusting the horses' bits into their mouths, so that they are yielding to us, we are steering their whole body also with it."

¹³ Who is wise and an adept among you? Let him show his works by an ideal behavior in meekness of wisdom.

⁴ but the hidden human of the heart, in the incorruptibility of a meek and quiet spirit, which, in God's sight, is costly."

¹⁶ Moses said to Korah:You and your whole congregation, come before Yahweh, you and they and Aaron tomorrow. ¹⁷ Take each man his fire-pan, put incense on them and bring each man his fire-pan near before Yahweh, two hundred fifty fire-pans, and you and Aaron, each man his fire-pan. ¹⁸ So they took each man his fire-pan, put fire on them, placed incense on them, and they stood at the opening of the tent of appointment, also Moses and Aaron. ¹⁹ Korah had assembled the whole congregation against them at the opening of the tent of appointment. Then the glory of Yahweh appeared to the whole congregation, ²⁰ and Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying. ²¹ Separate yourselves from the midst of this congregation so that I may finish them in a moment.

⁹ When Elohim rose for judgment, To save all the humbled of the earth. {Interlude{ "

⁵ Then Yahweh descended in a cloud and stationed Himself with him there; and he called the name of Yahweh.

³⁸ for the cloud of Yahweh was over the tabernacle by day, and fire, it came to be in it by night for the eyes of all the house of Israel in all their journeyings.

²⁵ Yahweh descended in a cloud and spoke to him. He caused some of the spirit which was on him to divert, and He put it on the seventy men, the elders. And it came to be as the spirit rested on them that they prophesied, yet they did not do so again.

⁷ In the cloud column He spoke to them; They kept His testimonies and the statute He gave to them.

¹ After these matters came the word of Yahweh to Abram in a vision, saying, "You must not fear, Abram! I am your Shield, your exceedingly increased Hire.

⁷ And now restore the man's wife, for a prophet is he, and pray will he about you, and live shall you. And should you not restore her, know that you shall die, yea, die, you and all who are yours.

¹⁰ And coming is it at the season that the flock is warm with desire, that I am lifting my eyes and seeing in a dream and, behold! The he-goats and the rams that go up on the small cattle are striped, speckled, and dappled. ¹¹ And saying to me is a messenger of the Elohim in a dream. `Jacob!' And saying am I,`Behold me!.

² And speaking is the Elohim to Israel in appearances of the night, and saying, "Jacob! Jacob!"And saying is he, "Behold me!"

¹ Yahweh said to Moses: See, I appoint you as Elohim to Pharaoh; and Aaron, your brother, shall come to be your prophet.

⁵ In Gibeon has Yahweh appeared unto Solomon, in a dream of the night, and Elohim said, `Ask--what do I give to you?.

¹³ In disquieting thoughts from visions of the night, In that stupor which falls on mortals,

¹⁵ In a dream, a vision of the night, When stupor falls upon men, In slumberings on their bed;"

¹⁹ Then You spoke in a vision to Your benign ones, And You said:I have poised help on a master; I have exalted one chosen from the people."

¹⁵ Saying, You must not touch My anointed ones, And to My prophets you must not do evil!"

²⁸ The prophet with whom [is] a dream, Let him recount the dream, And he with whom [is] My word, Let him truly speak My word. What--to the straw with the corn? An affirmation of Yahweh."

¹ And it comes to pass, in the thirtieth year, in the fourth [month], in the fifth of the month, and I [am] in the midst of the Removed by the river Chebar, the heavens have been opened, and I see visions of Elohim."

¹ In year one of Belshazzar, king of Babylon, Daniel perceives a dream, even visions of his head on his bed. Then he writes the dream which he had perceived, stating a summary of the matters."

² I am seeing in the vision-- it is coming in my seeing while I am in the castle of Shushan which is in the province of Elam; when I am seeing in the vision, I come to be on the Ulai canal."

⁸ No vigor remains in me, my splendor is turned on me to corruption, and no vigor do I retain."

¹⁶ And behold, one as the likeness of the sons of humanity is touching my lips. I am opening my mouth to speak and am saying to him who is standing in front of me, "My lord, by the sight of thee my throes are turned on me, and no vigor do I retain." ¹⁷ How can the servant of this my lord speak with this my lord? And I--henceforth no vigor is standing in me, and breath does not remain in me."

²⁰ Now at his brooding over these things, lo! a messenger of the Lord appeared to him in a trance, saying, "Joseph, son of David, you may not be afraid to accept Miriam, your wife, for that which is being generated in her is of holy spirit.

¹² And, being apprised in a trance not to go back to Herod, through another way they retire into their country. ¹³ Now, at their retiring into their country, lo! a messenger of the Lord is appearing in a trance to Joseph, saying, "Being roused, take along the little Boy and His mother and flee into Egypt, and be there till I should speak to you, for Herod is about to be seeking the little Boy to destroy Him"

¹⁹ Now at the decease of Herod, lo! a messenger of the Lord is appearing in a trance to Joseph in Egypt,

³¹ So that you are testifying to yourselves that you are the sons of those who murder the prophets.

³⁴ Therefore, lo! I am dispatching to you prophets and wise men and scribes. Of them, some you will be killing and crucifying, and of them, some you will be scourging in your synagogues and persecuting from city to city,

³⁷ Jerusalem! Jerusalem! who art killing the prophets and pelting with stones those who have been dispatched to her! How many times do I want to assemble your children in the manner a hen is assembling her brood under her wings-and you will not!"

¹¹ Now there was seen by him a messenger of the Lord, standing at the right of the altar of incense."

²² Yet, on coming out, he was not able to speak to them, and they recognize that he has seen an apparition in the temple. And he was motioning to them and continued to be mute."

⁶ Yet, if we should be saying, 'Of men,' the people all will be stoning us, for they are persuaded that John is a prophet."

¹¹ and he is beholding heaven open and a certain utensil descending, as a large sheet, with four edges, being let down on the earth,

¹⁷ Now, as Peter was bewildered in himself as to what the vision which he perceived should be, lo! the men who have been dispatched by Cornelius, asking the way through to the house of Simon, stand by at the portal."

¹⁷ Now it occurred, at my returning to Jerusalem and while I am praying in the sanctuary, I come to be in an ecstasy" ¹⁸ and to perceive Him saying to me, 'Hurry, and come quickly out of Jerusalem, because they will not be assenting to your testimony concerning Me.'"

¹¹ And the same One gives these, indeed, as apostles, yet these as prophets, yet these as evangelists, yet these as pastors and teachers,

³ And I will be endowing My two witnesses and they will be prophesying a thousand two hundred sixty days, clothed in sackcloth."

¹⁰ And those dwelling on the earth are rejoicing over them and are making merry, and will be sending approach presents to one another, seeing that these two prophets torment those dwelling on the earth."

¹⁸ A Prophet shall I raise up to them from among their brothers, like you, and I will put My words in His mouth, and He will speak to them all that I shall instruct Him.

¹ And it comes to pass after the death of Moses, servant of Yahweh, that Yahweh speaks unto Joshua son of Nun, minister of Moses, saying,

²⁶ He sent Moses, His servant, And Aaron whom He had chosen."

⁹ But for what do you come out? A prophet to perceive? Yes, I am saying to you, and exceedingly more than a prophet."

¹¹ Verily, I am saying to you, Not among those born of women has there been roused a greater than John the baptist. Yet he who is smaller, in the kingdom of the heavens is greater than he."

²² Moses, indeed, said that: A Prophet will the Lord your God, be raising up to you from among your brethren, as me. Him you shall hear, according to all, whatsoever He should be speaking to you." ²³ Yet it shall be that every soul whatsoever which should not hear that Prophet shall be utterly exterminated from among the people.

³¹ Now Moses, perceiving it, marvels at the vision. Yet, at his approaching to consider it, the voice of the Lord came:"

² Here, furthermore, it is being sought in administrators that any such may be found faithful."

¹⁵ yet, if I should be tardy, that you may be perceiving how one must behave in God's house, which is the ecclesia of the living God, the pillar and base of the truth."

² Who is faithful to Him Who makes Him, as Moses also was in His whole house." ³ For this One is counted worthy of more glory than Moses, by as much as He Who constructs it has more honor than the house." ⁴ For every house is constructed by someone, yet He Who constructs all is God." ⁵ And Moses, indeed, was faithful in His whole house as an attendant, for a testimony of that which shall be spoken." ⁶ Yet Christ, as a Son over His house-Whose house we are, that is, if we should be retaining the boldness and the glorying of the expectation confirmed unto the consummation."

⁴ Whom approaching, a living Stone, having been rejected indeed by men, yet chosen by God, held in honor, ⁵ you, also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, into a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, most acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. "

⁴ You shall not make for yourself a carving nor any representation of that in the heavens above or that on the earth beneath, or that in the waters beneath the earth.

¹⁰ And they saw the Elohim of Israel and beneath His feet as it were a work of sapphire tiling, as the very heavens for purity. ¹¹ To the selectmen of the sons of Israel He put not forth His hand, yet they perceived the One, Elohim, and ate and drank.

¹¹ So Yahweh spoke to Moses face to face, just as a man speaks to his associate. When he returned to the camp then his minister, Joshua son of Nun, a youth, did not remove himself from the midst of the tent.

¹⁹ And He said: I shall pass all My goodness before you and proclaim My name, Yahweh, before you; I will be gracious to whom I am being gracious and will have compassion for whom I am having compassion.

²³ Then I will take away My palm, and you will see My back, yet My face shall not appear.

⁵ Then Yahweh descended in a cloud and stationed Himself with him there; and he called the name of Yahweh. ⁶ Now Yahweh passed by before his face and called: Yahweh, Yahweh El, Who is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger and with much kindness and truth, ⁷ preserving kindness to thousands, bearing with depravity, transgression and sin, yet He is not immediately making innocent in order to make innocent, but visiting the depravity of the fathers on the sons and on the sons' sons, on the third and on the fourth generation.

³⁰ Then Aaron and all the sons of Israel saw Moses, and behold, the skin of his face gleamed. So they feared to come close to him.

¹⁴ and they have spoken to the dwellers of this land; they have heard that You, Yahweh, are among this people, that You are being seen eye to eye, Yahweh, and Your cloud is standing over them, and in a column of cloud You are going before them by day and in a column of fire by night.

¹⁵ You must be very much on guard against your soulish desires (since you saw no physical representation at all on the day Yahweh spoke to you at Horeb from the midst of the fire)

¹⁰ No prophet arose again in Israel like Moses, whom Yahweh knew face to face;"

¹⁵ As for me, with justice done, I shall perceive Your face; I will be satisfied, when I awake to Your semblance. {Permanent{ "

⁴ I shall stretch out my ear to a proverb; I shall open out my enigma with a harp.

¹⁸ Then to whom will you liken El? And what likeness will you arrange for Him?

⁵ To whom will you liken Me, and make Me equal, and compare Me, and we shall be alike?

² `Son of man, put forth a riddle, and use a simile unto the house of Israel,

⁴⁹ And I say, `Ah, Lord Yahweh, They are saying of me, Is he not using similes?

³⁵ so that fulfilled may be that which is declared through the prophet saying, I shall be opening My mouth in parables, I shall be emitting what is hid from the disruption."

¹⁶ He who is hearing you is hearing Me. And he who is repudiating you is repudiating Me. Yet he who is repudiating Me is repudiating Him Who commissions Me."

¹⁸ God no one has ever seen. The only-begotten God, Who is in the bosom of the Father, He unfolds Him."

⁷ If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also. And henceforth you know Him and have seen Him." ⁸ Philip is saying to Him, "Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficing us." ⁹ Jesus is saying to him, "So much time I am with you, and you do not know Me, Philip! He who has seen Me has seen the Father, and how are you saying, 'Show us the Father'? ¹⁰ Are you not believing that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me? The declarations which I am speaking to you I am not speaking from Myself. Now the Father, remaining in Me, He is doing His works."

¹⁵ No longer am I terming you slaves, for the slave is not aware what his lord is doing. Yet I have declared you friends, for all that I hear from My Father I make known to you."

²⁴ If I do not the works among them which no other one does, they had no sin. Yet now they have seen also, and they have hated Me as well as My Father,

¹² For at present we are observing by means of a mirror, in an enigma, yet then, face to face. At present I know out of an instalment, yet then I shall recognize according as I am recognized also."

¹⁸ Now we all, with uncovered face, mirroring the Lord's glory, are being transformed into the same image, from glory to glory, even as from the Lord, the spirit."

⁴ in whom the god of this eon blinds the apprehensions of the unbelieving so that the illumination of the evangel of the glory of Christ, Who is the Image of the invisible God, does not irradiate them." ⁵ For we are not heralding ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, yet ourselves your slaves because of Jesus, ⁶ for the God Who says that, out of darkness light shall be shining, is He Who shines in our hearts, with a view to the illumination of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ."

¹⁵ Who is the Image of the invisible God, Firstborn of every creature,

⁸ Surely, in consequence, then, he who is repudiating is not repudiating man, but God, Who is also giving His holy spirit to you."

¹⁶ Who alone has immortality, making His home in light inaccessible, Whom not one of mankind perceived nor can be perceiving, to Whom be honor and might eonian! Amen!"

³ Who, being the Effulgence of His glory and Emblem of His assumption, besides carrying on all by His powerful declaration, making a cleansing of sins, is seated at the right hand of the Majesty in the heights;"

¹⁰ yet specially those going after the flesh in defiling lust and despising lordship. Audacious, given to self-gratification, they are not trembling when calumniating glories,

⁸ Howbeit, these dreamers also, likewise are indeed defiling the flesh, yet are repudiating lordship and calumniating glories."

²² And finishing is He speaking with him, and ascending is the Elohim from Abraham.

¹⁵ For I will go and return to My place till they are pleading guilty, and they seek My face. In their distress they will seek Me early, saying:"

⁶ And Yahweh said to him further: Now bring your hand into your bosom. So he brought his hand into his bosom and brought it forth from his bosom, and behold, his hand was leprous as snow.

⁷ As for Moses, he took the tent and stretched it out outside the camp, far from the camp; and he called it the tent of appointment; and it came to be that everyone seeking Yahweh went forth to the tent of appointment which was outside the camp. ⁸ Also it came to be as Moses went forth to the tent, all the people rose and stationed themselves, each man, at the portal of his tent and looked after Moses until he entered the tent. ⁹ It came to be as Moses entered the tent that the cloud column descended and stood at the portal of the tent, and He spoke with Moses. ¹⁰ When all the people saw the cloud column standing at the portal of the tent, all the people rose and bowed themselves down, each man at the portal of his tent.

² In case a human comes to have in the skin of his flesh a nodule or a scurf or a blotch, and it comes in the skin of his flesh as the contagion of leprous disease, then the matter will be brought before Aaron the priest, or before one of his sons the priests. ³ When the priest examines the contagious area in the skin of the flesh, and the hair in the contagious area has turned white and the appearance of the contagion is deeper than the skin of his flesh, it is the contagion of leprous disease. When the priest has examined it he will pronounce him unclean. ⁴ Yet if the blotch is white, that in the skin of his flesh, and is not deeper in its appearance than the skin, and its hair has not turned white, then the priest will enclose the contagious person seven days. ⁵ The priest will examine him on the seventh day, and behold, if in his eyes the contagion stays, the contagion has not diffused in the skin, then the priest will enclose him a second seven days. ⁶ The priest will examine him on the second seventh day, and behold, if the contagion is inconspicuous and the contagion has not diffused in the skin, then the priest will pronounce him clean; it is a scurf. He will rinse his garments; then he will be clean. ⁷ Yet if the scurf should have diffused, yea diffused in the skin after his appearance before the priest for his cleansing, then he will show himself a second time to the priest. ⁸ When the priest has examined, and behold, if the scurf has diffused in the skin, then the priest will pronounce him unclean; it is a leprous disease. ⁹ In case the contagion of a leprous disease comes to be in a human, then the matter will be brought before the priest. ¹⁰ The priest will examine, and behold, if a white nodule is in the skin and it has turned the hair white and live flesh is staying alive in the nodule, ¹¹ it is a chronic leprous disease in the skin of his flesh. Then the priest will pronounce him unclean; he shall not enclose him, for he is unclean. ¹² Yet if the leprous disease should bud, yea bud in the skin so that the leprous disease covers all the skin of the contagious person, from his head unto his feet, to all appearances in the eyes of the priest, ¹³ then the priest will examine, and behold, if the leprous disease covers all his flesh, he will pronounce the contagion clean; all of it has turned white; he is clean. ¹⁴ Yet on the day live flesh appears in it, he shall be unclean. ¹⁵ When the priest has examined the live flesh, he will pronounce him unclean. The live flesh, it is unclean; it is a leprous disease. ¹⁶ Or in case the live flesh reverses and is turned to white, then he will come to the priest. ¹⁷ The priest will examine him, and behold, if the contagion is turned to white, then the priest will pronounce the contagion clean; he is clean. ¹⁸ In case the flesh comes to have a boil in it, in its skin, and it is healed, ¹⁹ and there comes in place of the boil a white nodule or a reddish white blotch, then he will show himself to the priest. ²⁰ The priest will examine, and behold, if its appearance is lower than the skin, and its hair has turned white, then the priest will pronounce him unclean; it is the contagion of leprous disease. In the boil has it budded. ²¹ Yet when the priest examines it, and behold, there is no white hair in it, and it is not lower than the skin, and it is inconspicuous, then the priest will enclose him seven days. ²² And if it should have diffused, yea diffused in the skin, then the priest will pronounce him unclean; it is the contagion. ²³ Yet if, in its stead, the blotch stays and does not diffuse, it is the puckered scar of the boil. And the priest will pronounce him clean. ²⁴ Or in case the flesh comes to have a fiery scorch in its skin, and the living scorch becomes a reddish white or white blotch, ²⁵ then the priest will examine it, and behold, if the hair in the blotch has turned white and its appearance is deeper than the skin, it is a leprous disease. In the scorch has it budded. The priest will pronounce him unclean; it is the contagion of leprous disease. ²⁶ Yet if the priest examines it and behold, there is no white hair in the blotch and it is not lower than the skin and it is inconspicuous then the priest will enclose him seven days. ²⁷ Then the priest will examine him on the seventh day. If it should have diffused, yea diffused in the skin, then the priest will pronounce him unclean. It is the contagion of leprous disease. ²⁸ Yet if, in its stead, the blotch stays and does not diffuse in the skin, and it is inconspicuous, it is a nodule of the scorch. Then the priest will pronounce him clean, for it is the puckered scar of the scorch. ²⁹ In case a man or a woman comes to have the contagion in him on the head or in the beard, ³⁰ then the priest will examine the contagion, and behold, if its appearance is deeper than the skin and yellow, thin hair is on it, then the priest will pronounce him unclean. It is a scall; it is a leprous disease of the head or the beard. ³¹ Yet when the priest examines the contagion of the scall, and behold, if its appearance is not deeper than the skin, and there is no dusky hair on it, then the priest will enclose the one with the contagion of the scall seven days. ³² Then the priest will examine the contagion on the seventh day, and behold, if the scall has not diffused, no yellow hair has come to be on it and the appearance of the scall is not deeper than the skin, ³³ then he will shave himself, yet the scall he shall not shave, and the priest will enclose the one with the scall a second seven days. ³⁴ Then the priest will examine the scall on the seventh day, and behold, if the scall has not diffused on the skin and its appearance is not deeper than the skin, then the priest will pronounce him clean. He will rinse his garments and be clean. ³⁵ Yet if the scall should have diffused, yea diffused on the skin after his cleansing, ³⁶ then the priest will examine him, and behold, if the scall has diffused on the skin, the priest shall make no quest for yellow hair. He is unclean. ³⁷ Yet if, in his eyes, the scall stays and dusky hair has sprouted on it, the scall is healed. He is clean, and the priest will pronounce him clean. ³⁸ When a man or a woman comes to have blotches on the skin of their flesh, white blotches, ³⁹ then the priest will examine, and behold, if on the skin of their flesh the blotches are inconspicuous white, it is an eruption; it has budded on the skin. He is clean. ⁴⁰ When a man's head is burnished and he is bald; he is clean. ⁴¹ And if his head is burnished from the edge of his face and he has a bald forehead, he is clean. ⁴² Yet when there comes to be a reddish white contagion on his baldhead or on his bald forehead, it is a budding leprous disease on his baldhead or on his bald forehead. ⁴³ Then the priest will examine him, and behold, if the nodule of the contagion is reddish white on his baldhead or on his bald forehead, as the appearance of a leprous disease of the skin of the flesh, ⁴⁴ he is a leprous man; he is unclean. The priest shall pronounce him unclean, yea unclean; his contagion is on his head. ⁴⁵ As for the leprous man in whom the contagion is, his garments, they shall come to be ripped, and his head shall come to be disheveled, and he shall muffle the upper lip; and, Unclean! Unclean! shall he call. ⁴⁶ All the days in which the contagion is in him he shall be unclean. He is unclean and shall dwell solitarily; his dwelling shall be outside the camp.

⁹ You are to remember what Yahweh your Elohim did to Miriam along the way in your going forth from Egypt.

²⁷ yea, the leprosy of Naaman does cleave to you, and to your seed, --to the eon;' and he goes out from before him--leprous as snow.

⁵ And Yahweh smites the king, and he is a leper unto the day of his death, and he dwells in a separate house, and Jotham son of the king [is] over the house, judging the people of the land.

¹⁹ And Uzziah is wroth, and in his hand [is] a censer to make perfume, and in his being wroth with the priests--the leprosy has risen in his forehead, before the priests, in the house of Yahweh, from beside the altar of perfume. ²⁰ And Azariah the head priest looks unto him, and all the priests, and lo, he [is] leprous in his forehead, and they hasten him thence, and also he himself has hastened to go out, for Yahweh has plagued him. ²¹ And Uzziah the king is a leper unto the day of his death, and inhabits a separate house--a leper, for he has been cut off from the house of Yahweh, and Jotham his son [is] over the house of the king, judging the people of the land.

⁴ and become high does the honor of Yahweh above the cherub, over the threshold of the house, and the house is filled with the cloud, and the court has been filled with the brightness of the honor of Yahweh." ⁵ And a noise of the wings of the cherubs has been heard unto the outer court, as the voice of El--the Mighty One--in His speaking."

¹⁸ And go forth does the honor of Yahweh from off the threshold of the house, and stands over the cherubs, ¹⁹ and the cherubs lift up their wings, and are lifted up from the earth before mine eyes; in their going forth, the wheels also [are] over-against them, and he stands at the opening of the east gate of the house of Yahweh, and the honor of the Elohim of Israel [is] over them from above."

¹² For, if they are bringing up their sons, then will I bereave them of a human, for, moreover, woe to them when My control is away from them!"

⁴¹ Then shall He be declaring to those also at His left, 'Go from Me, you cursed, into the fire eonian, made ready for the Adversary and his messengers."

³² Moreover, your flocks, even your herds, take just as you have spoken, and go! However you will bless me.

³⁰ `Therefore--the affirmation of Yahweh, Elohim of Israel--I certainly said, Your house and the house of your father, do walk up and down before Me to the eon; and now--the affirmation of Yahweh--Far be it from Me! for he who is honoring Me, I honor, and those despising Me, are lightly esteemed.

¹⁹ and all the people say unto Samuel, `Pray for your servants unto Yahweh your Elohim, and we do not die, for we have added to all our sins evil to ask for us a king..

²⁴ And Saul said unto Samuel, `I have sinned, for I passed over the command of Yahweh, and your words; because I have feared the people, I also hearken to their voice;" ²⁵ and now, bear, I pray you, with my sin, and turn back with me, and I bow myself to Yahweh..

¹⁹ and said unto the king, `Let not my lord impute to me iniquity; neither do you remember that which your servant did perversely in the day that my lord the king went out from Jerusalem, --for the king to set [it] unto his heart;"

¹⁰ And the heart of David smites him, after that he has numbered the people, and David said unto Yahweh, `I have sinned greatly in that which I have done, and now, O Yahweh, cause to pass away, I pray You, the iniquity of Your servant, for I have acted very foolishly..

⁶ And the king answers and said unto the man of Elohim, `Appease, I pray you, the face of Yahweh your Elohim, and pray for me, and my hand does come back unto me;' and the man of Elohim appeases the face of Yahweh, and the hand of the king comes back unto him, and it is as at the beginning.

⁹ for Yahweh--His eyes go to and fro in all the earth, to show Himself strong [for] a people whose heart [is] perfect towards Him; you have been foolish concerning this, because--henceforth there are with you wars..

¹ {A Davidic Psalm{ {For Remembrance{ O Yahweh, do not correct me in Your wrath Or discipline me in Your fury." ² For Your arrows have settled deep in me, And Your hand is settling down on me." ³ There is no soundness in my flesh in view of Your indignation; There is no peace in my bones in view of my sin. ⁴ For my depravities, they pass over my head; Like a heavy load, they are too heavy for me." ⁵ My welts stink and putrefy In view of my folly.

³² If you have disgraced yourself by lifting yourself up, Or if you have schemed evil, put your hand to your mouth."

² and they say unto Jeremiah the prophet, `Let, we pray you, our supplication fall before you, and pray for us unto Yahweh your Elohim, for all this remnant; for we have been left a few out of many, as your eyes do see us;"

²⁴ Now answering, Simon said, "You beseech the Lord for my sake so that nothing may be coming on me which you have declared."

⁹ Lo! I have granted to those of the synagogue of Satan, (who are saying that they themselves are Jews, and are not, but are lying) - Lo! I shall be making them that they will be arriving and worshiping, before your feet, and they may know that I love you."

¹⁶ Why was I not like a buried stillborn child, Like babes who have not seen light?

⁸ Like a slug melting away as it goes along; Like the stillborn of a woman, they will fail to perceive the sun."

⁴ I am reckoned with descenders to the crypt; I become like a master who is without stamina, ⁵ With the dead set free, Like the slain who lie in a burying ground, Whom You do not remember any more, For they are severed from Your hand."

⁸ Yet, last of all, even as if a premature birth, He was seen by me also."

¹ And you, being dead to your offenses and sins, ² in which once you walked, in accord with the eon of this world, in accord with the chief of the jurisdiction of the air, the spirit now operating in the sons of stubbornness " ³ (among whom we also all behaved ourselves once in the lusts of our flesh, doing the will of the flesh and of the comprehension, and were, in our nature, children of indignation, even as the rest), ⁴ yet God, being rich in mercy, because of His vast love with which He loves us" ⁵ (we also being dead to the offenses and the lusts), vivifies us together in Christ (in grace are you saved!)"

¹³ Who rouses Him from among the dead, you also being dead to the offenses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He vivifies us together jointly with Him, dealing graciously with all our offenses,

⁶ Yet she who is a prodigal, though living, is dead."

¹⁰ And now, leave it to Me, that My anger may grow hot against them, so that I may finish them; and I shall make you into a great nation. ¹¹ Then Moses beseeched the face of Yahweh his Elohim and said: Why, Yahweh, has Your anger grown hot against Your people whom You have brought forth from the land of Egypt with great vigor and with a steadfast hand? ¹² Why should the Egyptians speak, saying: For evil He brings them forth to kill them in the mountains and to finish them off the surface of the ground? Turn back from the heat of Your anger and show mercy concerning the evil to Your people. ¹³ Remember Abraham, Isaac and Israel, Your servants to whom You swore by Yourself. You spoke to them, saying: I shall increase your seed as the stars of the heavens, and all this land, as I have said, I shall give it to your seed, and they will gain it as an allotment for the eon. ¹⁴ So Yahweh showed mercy concerning the evil which He spoke of doing to His people.

² All the sons of Israel grumbled against Moses and against Aaron. The whole congregation said to them:O that we had died in the land of Egypt or in this wilderness! O that we had died!

¹³ Yet Moses said to Yahweh:The Egyptians have heard that You brought up this people by Your vigor, from among them;" ¹⁴ and they have spoken to the dwellers of this land; they have heard that You, Yahweh, are among this people, that You are being seen eye to eye, Yahweh, and Your cloud is standing over them, and in a column of cloud You are going before them by day and in a column of fire by night. ¹⁵ If You put this people to death as one man, then the nations who heard the report of You will say, saying. ¹⁶ Because Yahweh was unable to bring this people to the land about which He had sworn to them, He slew them in the wilderness. ¹⁷ So now let, I pray, the vigor of Yahweh be great just as You have spoken, saying. ¹⁸ Yahweh, slow to anger and with much kindness and truth, bearing with depravity and transgression and sin, yet He is not immediately making innocent in order to make innocent, but is visiting the depravity of the fathers on the sons, on the third and on the fourth generation. ¹⁹ Pardon, I pray, the depravity of this people according to the greatness of Your kindness just as You bore with this people from Egypt and hitherto. ²⁰ Yahweh said:I have pardoned them according to your word.

⁴¹ The whole congregation of the sons of Israel grumbled on the morrow against Moses and against Aaron, saying:You yourselves put the people of Yahweh to death.

⁴⁶ Moses said to Aaron:Take the fire-pan and put fire from the altar on it and place incense on it and go quickly to the congregation and make a propitiatory shelter over them, for wrath goes forth from before Yahweh! The stroke has started!" ⁴⁷ So Aaron took it, just as Moses had spoken, and ran into the midst of the assembly. And behold, the stroke had started among the people. He put the incense on and make a propitiatory shelter over the people. ⁴⁸ He stood between the dead and the living, and the stroke was restrained. ⁴⁹ Now those dead by the stroke were fourteen thousand seven hundred, aside from those dead over the matter of Korah. ⁵⁰ Then Aaron returned to Moses at the opening of the tent of appointment; as for the stroke, it was restrained.

²³ `I, also, far be it from me to sin against Yahweh, by ceasing to pray for you, and I have directed you in the good and upright way;"

¹¹ `I have repented that I caused Saul to reign for king, for he has turned back from after Me, and My words he has not performed;' and it is displeasing to Samuel, and he cries unto Yahweh all the night.

²⁶ And the light of the white moonshine comes to be as the light of the warm sunshine, and the light of the warm sunshine will become sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day when Yahweh will bind up the break of His people, and the transfixed of their smiting will He heal."

¹⁴ Heal me, O Yahweh, and I am healed, Save me, and I am saved, for my praise [are] You."

⁴⁴ Yet I am saying to you, Love your enemies, and pray for those who are persecuting you, ⁴⁵ so that you may become sons of your Father Who is in the heavens, for He causes His sun to rise on the wicked and the good, and makes it rain on the just and the unjust.

²⁸ Bless those who are cursing you. Pray concerning those who are traducing you.

³⁴ Now Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they are not aware what they are doing.Now dividing His garments, they cast the lot."

⁶⁰ Now, kneeling, he cries with a loud voice, "Lord, Thou shouldst not stand against them this sin!And saying this, he was put to repose."

²¹ Be not conquered by evil; but conquer evil with good.

¹⁵ And the vow of faith will be saving the faltering and the Lord will be rousing him up, and, if he should have done sins, it will be forgiven him."

⁸ The one cleansing himself will rinse his garments and shave off all his hair and wash in water; then he will be clean. Afterward he may come into the camp, yet he will dwell outside his tent seven days.

² Instruct the sons of Israel that they shall send away from the camp every leprous human and everyone having a discharge and everyone defiled by a deceased soul. ³ Both male and female shall you send them away outside the camp. You shall send them away so that they may not defile their camps in the midst of which I am tabernacling.

⁹ then his sister-in-law will come close to him before the eyes of the elders, pull his sandal off his foot, spit in his face and answer and say:Thus shall be done to the man who will not build up his brother's house.

⁶ And he has put me down as a proverb to the people, So that I become one spit at to the face.

¹⁰ They abhor me; they keep far from me, Yet they do not keep back their spit from my face.

⁶ My body I give to smiters, and my cheeks to burnishers. My face I do not conceal from confoundings and spitting."

⁶⁷ Then they spit into His face and buffet Him. Now they slap Him,

⁹ Thereafter, indeed, we had the fathers of our flesh as discipliners, and we respected them. Yet shall we not much rather be subjected to the Father of spirits and be living."

²¹ And drinking is he of the wine and is drunk, and is exposing himself in the midst of his tent. ²² And seeing is Ham (father of Canaan) the nakedness of his father, and faring forth, he is telling his two brothers outside. ²³ And taking are Shem and Japheth a garment, and are placing it on the shoulders of the two, and they are going backward, and covering the nakedness of their father. And their faces were backward, and the nakedness of their father they did not see.

¹² Glorify your father and your mother, that your days may be prolonged on the ground which Yahweh your Elohim is giving to you.

⁸ Be on guard in a contagion of leprosy to observe especially and to do according to all the law which the priests, the Levites, shall direct you. Just as I have instructed them shall you observe to do. ⁹ You are to remember what Yahweh your Elohim did to Miriam along the way in your going forth from Egypt.

³² Indeed though He afflicts, yet He has compassion according to the abundance of His benignities;"

⁸ You must not rejoice against me, O my enemy. Though I fall, I shall rise. Though I am sitting in darkness, Yahweh shall be light for me." ⁹ The turbulence of Yahweh I will bear, for I have sinned against Him, till He is contending my contention, and shall execute my judgment. He will bring me forth to the light; I shall see by His righteousness."

² WITH A SONG Yahweh, I hear Your report, I fear, Yahweh, Your contrivance; within the years make it live; within the years are You informing. In the disturbance You are remembering compassion."

²¹ And dwelling is he in the wilderness of Paran. And his mother is taking a wife for him from the land of Egypt.

¹² So the sons of Israel decamped for their journeys from the wilderness of Sinai, until the cloud tabernacled in the wilderness of Paran.

³⁵ From Kibroth Hattaavah the people journeyed to Hazeroth. When they came to be in Hazeroth

³ So Moses sent them from the wilderness of Paran at the bidding of Yahweh; all of them men who were heads of the sons of Israel.

²⁶ Then they went and came to Moses, Aaron and to the whole congregation of the sons of Israel at the wilderness of Paran, toward Kadesh. They brought back word to them and to the whole congregation and showed them the fruit of the land.

¹⁸ They journeyed from Hazeroth and encamped at Rithmah.

¹ And Samuel dies, and all Israel are gathered, and mourn for him, and bury him in his house, in Ramah; and David rises and goes down unto the wilderness of Paran.

³ Eloah is coming from Teman, and the Holy One from mount Paran. INTERLUDE His splendor covers the heavens, and His praise fills the earth."
