they have walled it, and set up its doors, and its locks, and its bars. ⁷ And by their hand has Melatiah the Gibeonite strengthened, and Jadon the Meronothite, men of Gibeon and of Mizpah, to the throne of the governor beyond the River. ⁸ By his hand has Uzziel son of Harhaiah of the refiners strengthened; and by his hand has Hananiah son of [one of] the compounders strengthened; and they leave Jerusalem unto the broad wall. ⁹ And by their hand has Rephaiah son of Hur, head of the half of the district of Jerusalem, strengthened. ¹⁰ And by their hand has Jedaiah son of Harumaph strengthened, and over-against his own house; and by his hand has Hattush son of Hashabniah strengthened. ¹¹ A second measure has Malchijah son of Harim strengthened, and Hashub son of Pahath-Moab, even the tower of the furnaces. ¹² And by his hand has Shallum son of Halohesh, head of the half of the district of Jerusalem, strengthened, he and his daughters. ¹³ The gate of the valley has Hanun strengthened, and the inhabitants of Zanoah; they have built it, and set up its doors, its locks, and its bars, and a thousand cubits in the wall unto the dung-gate. ¹⁴ And the dung-gate has Malchijah son of Rechab, head of the district of Beth-Haccerem, strengthened; he does built it, and set up its doors, its locks, and its bars. ¹⁵ And the gate of the fountain has Shallum son of Col-Hozeh, head of the district of Mizpah, strengthened:he does build it, and cover it, and set up its doors, its locks, and its bars, and the wall of the pool of Siloah, to the garden of the king, and unto the steps that are going down from the city of David. ¹⁶ After him has Nehemiah son of Azbuk, head of the half of the district of Beth-Zur, strengthened, unto over-against the graves of David, and unto the pool that is made, and unto the house of the mighty ones. ¹⁷ After him have the Levites strengthened, [and] Rehum son of Bani:by his hand has Hashabiah, head of the half of the district of Keilah, strengthened, for his district. ¹⁸ After him have their brethren strengthened, [and] Bavvai son of Henadad, head of the half of the district of Keilah. ¹⁹ And Ezer son of Jeshua, head of Mizpah, does strengthen, by his hand, a second measure, from over-against the ascent of the armory at the angle. ²⁰ After him has Baruch son of Zabbai hastened to strengthen a second measure from the angle unto the opening of the house of Eliashib the high priest. ²¹ After him has Meremoth son of Urijah, son of Koz, strengthened, a second measure, from the opening of the house of Eliashib even unto the completion of the house of Eliashib. ²² And after him have the priests, men of the circuit, strengthened. ²³ After them has Benjamin strengthened, and Hashub, over-against their house; after him has Azariah son of Maaseiah, son of Ananiah, strengthened, near his house. ²⁴ After him has Binnui son of Henadad strengthened, a second measure, from the house of Azariah unto the angle, and unto the corner. ²⁵ Palal son of Uzai, from over-against the angle, and the tower that is going out from the upper house of the king that [is] at the court of the prison; after him Pedaiah son of Parosh. ²⁶ And the Nethinim have been dwelling in Ophel, unto over-against the water-gate at the east, and the tower that goes out. ²⁷ After him have the Tekoites strengthened, a second measure, from over-against the great tower that goes out, and unto the wall of Ophel. ²⁸ From above the horse-gate have the priests strengthened, each over-against his house. ²⁹ After them has Zadok son of Immer strengthened, over against his house; and after him has Shemaiah son of Shechaniah, keeper of the east gate, strengthened. ³⁰ After him has Hananiah son of Shelemiah strengthened, and Hanun the sixth son of Zalaph, a second measure; after him has Meshullam son of Berechiah strengthened, over-against his chamber. ³¹ After him has Malchijah son of the refiner strengthened, unto the house of the Nethinim, and of the merchants, over-against the gate of the Miphkad, and unto the ascent of the corner. ³² And between the ascent of the corner and the sheep-gate, have the refiners and the merchants strengthened.

² And instructing is Joseph his servants, the healers, to embalm his father. And embalming are the healers Israel.

²⁵ and you will make of it a holy anointing oil, a compounded ointment, the handiwork of a compounder. A holy anointing oil shall it be.

²⁵ Every woman wise of heart spun with her hands, and they brought the spinning, the blue, the purple, the double-dipped crimson and the cambric.

⁵ And the superintendents will speak to the people, saying:Whoever the man be who has built a new house and has not dedicated it yet, may go and return to his house, lest he should die in the battle and another man should dedicate it.

³ And the inhabitants of Gibeon have heard that which Joshua has done to Jericho and to Ai, ⁴ and they work, even they, with subtilty, and go, and feign to be ambassadors, and take old sacks for their asses, and wine-bottles, old, and rent, and bound up, ⁵ and sandals, old and patched, on their feet, and old garments upon them, and all the bread of their provision is dry--it was crumbs. ⁶ And they go unto Joshua, unto the camp at Gilgal, and say unto him, and unto the men of Israel, `From a land far off we have come, and now, make with us a covenant;. <sup>7</sup> and the men of Israel say unto the Hivite, `It may be in our midst you are dwelling, and how do we make with you a covenant?. ⁸ and they say unto Joshua, `Your servants we [are].' And Joshua said unto them, `Who [are] you? and whence come you?. ⁹ And they say unto him, `From a land very far off have your servants come, for the name of Yahweh your Elohim, for we have heard His fame, and all that He has done in Egypt, <sup>10</sup> and all that He has done to the two kings of the Amorite who [are] beyond the Jordan, to Sihon king of Heshbon, and to Og king of Bashan, who [is] in Ashtaroth. <sup>11</sup> `And our elders, and all the inhabitants of our land speak unto us, saying, Take in your hand provision for the way, and go to meet them, and you have said unto them, Your servants we [are], and now, make with us a covenant;" ¹² this our bread--hot we provided ourselves with it out of our houses, on the day of our coming out to go unto you, and now, lo, it is dry, and has been crumbs;" ¹³ and these [are] the wine-bottles which we filled, new, and lo, they have rent; and these, our garments and our sandals, have become old, from the exceeding greatness of the way.. ¹⁴ And the men take of their provision, and the mouth of Yahweh have not asked;" ¹⁵ and Joshua makes with them peace, and makes with them a covenant, to keep them alive; and swear to them do the princes of the company. ¹⁶ And it comes to pass, at the end of three days after that they have made with them a covenant, that they hear that they [are] their neighbors--that in their midst they are dwelling. ¹⁷ And the sons of Israel journey and come in unto their cities on the third day--and their cities [are] Gibeon, and Chephirah, and Beeroth, and Kirjath-Jearim-. ¹⁸ and the sons of Israel have not smitten them, for sworn to them have the princes of the company by Yahweh Elohim of Israel, and all the company murmur against the princes. ¹⁹ And all the princes say unto all the company, `We--we have sworn to them by Yahweh, Elohim of Israel; and now, we are not able to come against them;" <sup>20</sup> this we do to them, and have kept them alive, and wrath is not upon us, because of the oath which we have sworn to them.. <sup>21</sup> And the princes say unto them, `They live, and are hewers of wood and drawers of water for all the company, as the princes spoke to them.. ²² And Joshua calls for them, and speaks unto them, saying, `Why have you deceived us, saying, We are very far from you, and you in our midst dwelling? <sup>23</sup> and now, cursed are you, and none of you is cut off [from being] a servant, even hewers of wood and drawers of water, for the house of my Elohim.. <sup>24</sup> And they answer Joshua and say, `Because it was certainly declared to your servants, that Yahweh your Elohim commanded Moses His servant to give to you all the land, and to destroy all the inhabitants of the land from before you; and we fear greatly for ourselves because of you, and we do this thing;" ²⁵ and now, lo, we [are] in your hand, as [it is] good, and as [it is] right in your eyes to do to us--do.. ²⁶ And he does to them so, and delivers them from the hand of the sons of Israel, and they have not slain them;" ²⁷ and Joshua makes them on that day hewers of wood and drawers of water for the company, and for the altar of Yahweh, unto this day, at the place which He does choose.

³⁴ and Zanoah, and En-Gannim, Tappuah, and Enam,

⁴⁴ and Keilah, and Achzib, and Mareshah; nine cities and their villages.

⁵⁶ and Jezreel, and Jokdeam, and Zanoah,

⁵⁸ Halhul, Beth-Zur, and Gedor,

²³ Curse Meroz--said a messenger of Yahweh, Cursing, curse you its inhabitants, For they came not to the help of Yahweh, To the help of Yahweh among the mighty!"

¹ And all the sons of Israel go out, and the company is assembled as one man, from Dan even unto Beer-Sheba, and the land of Gilead, unto Yahweh, at Mizpeh.

³ And the sons of Benjamin hear that the sons of Israel have gone up to Mizpeh. And the sons of Israel say, `Speak you, how has this evil been?.

¹ And they declare to David, saying, `Lo, the Philistines are fighting against Keilah, and they are spoiling the threshing-floors.. <sup>2</sup> And David asks at Yahweh, saying, `Do I go? --and have I smitten among these Philistines?' And Yahweh said unto David, `Go, and you have smitten among the Philistines, and saved Keilah.. <sup>3</sup> And David's men say unto him, `Lo, we here in Judah are afraid; and how much more when we go to Keilah, unto the ranks of the Philistines?. ⁴ And David adds again to ask at Yahweh, and Yahweh answers him, and said, `Rise, go down to Keilah, for I am giving the Philistines into your hand.. <sup>5</sup> And David goes, and his men, to Keilah, and fights with the Philistines, and leads away their cattle, and smites among them--a great smiting, and David saves the inhabitants of Keilah. <sup>6</sup> And it comes to pass, in the fleeing of Abiathar son of Ahimelech unto David, to Keilah, an ephod came down in his hand. <sup>7</sup> And it is declared to Saul that David has come in to Keilah, and Saul said, `Elohim has made him known for my hand, for he has been shut in, to enter into a city of doors and bar.. ⁸ And Saul summons the whole of the people to battle, to go down to Keilah, to lay siege unto David and unto his men. ⁹ And David knows that against him Saul is devising the evil, and said unto Abiathar the priest, `Bring nigh the ephod.. <sup>10</sup> And David said, `Yahweh, Elohim of Israel, Your servant has certainly heard that Saul is seeking to come in unto Keilah, to destroy the city on mine account. ¹¹ Do the possessors of Keilah shut me up into his hand? does Saul come down as Your servant has heard? Yahweh, Elohim of Israel, declare, I pray You, to Your servant.' And Yahweh said, `He does come down.. <sup>12</sup> And David said, `Do the possessors of Keilah shut me up, and my men, into the hand of Saul?' And Yahweh said, `They shut [you] up.. ¹³ And David rises--and his men--about six hundred men, and they go out from Keilah, and go up and down where they go up and down; and to Saul it has been declared that David has escaped from Keilah, and he ceases to go out.

⁶ And the king goes, and his men, to Jerusalem, unto the Jebusite, the inhabitant of the land, and they speak to David, saying, `You do not come in hither, except you turn aside the blind and the lame;' saying, `David does not come in hither.. ⁷ And David captures the fortress of Zion, it [is] the city of David.

² and Joab sends to Tekoah, and takes thence a wise woman, and said unto her, `Feign yourself a mourner, I pray you, and put on, I pray you, garments of mourning, and anoint not yourself with oil, and you have been as a woman these many days mourning for the dead,

²⁷ And king Rehoboam makes in their stead shields of brass, and has made [them] a charge on the hand of the heads of the runners, those keeping the opening of the house of the king, ²⁸ and it comes to pass, from the going in of the king to the house of Yahweh, the runners bear them, and have brought them back unto the chamber of the runners.

¹⁶ And they make for her sides, and she enters the way of the entering in of the horses to the house of the king, and is put to death there.

²⁰ And the rest of the matters of Hezekiah, and all his might, and how he made the pool, and the conduit, and brings in the waters to the city, are they not written on the book of the Chronicles of the kings of Judah?

⁴ then the city is broken up, and all the men of war [go] by night the way of the gate, between the two walls that [are] by the garden of the king, and the Chaldeans [are] against the city round about, and [the king] goes the way of the plain.

⁴⁵ And a son of Shammai [is] Maon, and Maon [is] father of Beth-Zur.

¹⁸ And his wife Jehudijah bare Jered father of Gedor, and Heber father of Socho, and Jekuthiel father of Zanoah. And these [are] sons of Bithiah daughter of Pharaoh, whom Mered took,

² And the first inhabitants, who [are] in their possession, in their cities, of Israel, [are] the priests, the Levites, and the Nethinim.

⁴ Of these to preside over the work of the house of Yahweh [are] twenty and four thousand, and officers and judges six thousand,

⁶ and Asa the king has taken all Judah, and they bear away the stones of Ramah, and its wood, that Baasha has built, and he builds with them Geba and Mizpah.

¹⁴ and they bury him in [one of] his graves, that he had prepared for himself in the city of David, and they cause him to lie on a bed that [one] has filled [with] spices, and divers kinds of mixtures, with perfumed work; and they burn for him a burning--very great.

¹⁵ And they make for her sides, and she comes in unto the entrance of the gate of the horses at the house of the king, and they put her to death there.

⁹ And Uzziah builds towers in Jerusalem, by the gate of the corner, and by the gate of the valley, and by the angle, and strengthens them;"

³ He has built the upper gate of the house of Yahweh, and in the wall of Ophel he has built abundantly;"

³⁰ And Hezekiah himself has stopped the upper source of the waters of Gihon, and directs them beneath to the west of the city of David, and Hezekiah prospers in all his work;"

¹⁴ And after this he has built an outer wall to the city of David, on the west of Gihon, in the valley, and at the entering in at the fish-gate, and it has gone round to the tower, and he makes it exceeding high, and he puts heads of the force in all the cities of the bulwarks in Judah.

³³ On the fourth day the silver and the gold and the vessels were weighed out in the House of our Elohim into the hand of Meremoth son of Uriah the priest, with whom was Eleazar son of Phineas; with them were also Jozabad son of Jeshua, and Noadiah son of Binnui, the Levites.

² Then Shecaniah son of Jehiel of the sons of Elam responded and said to Ezra:We ourselves have offended our Elohim when we located in our houses foreign women from the peoples of the land. Yet now there is expectation for Israel in spite of this.

⁷ And I say to the king, `If to the king [it be] good, letters let be given to me for the governors beyond the River, that they let me pass over till that I come in unto Judah. ⁸ and a letter unto Asaph, keeper of the paradise that the king has, that he give to me trees for beams [for] the gates of the palace that the house has, and for the wall of the city, and for the house into which I enter;' and the king gives to me, according to the good hand of my Elohim upon me.

⁴⁶ The Nethinim:sons of Ziha, sons of Hasupha, sons of Tabbaoth, ⁴⁷ sons of Keros, sons of Sia, sons of Padon, ⁴⁸ sons of Lebanah, sons of Hagaba, sons of Shalmai, ⁴⁹ sons of Hanan, sons of Giddel, sons of Gahar, ⁵⁰ sons of Reaiah, sons of Rezin, sons of Nekoda, ⁵¹ sons of Gazzam, sons of Uzza, sons of Phaseah, ⁵² sons of Bezai, sons of Meunim, sons of Nephishesim, ⁵³ sons of Bakbuk, sons of Hakupha, sons of Harhur, ⁵⁴ sons of Bazlith, sons of Mehida, sons of Harsha, ⁵⁵ sons of Barkos, sons of Sisera, sons of Tamah, ⁵⁶ sons of Neziah, sons of Hatipha.

⁶³ And of the priests:sons of Habaiah sons of Koz, sons of Barzillai, who has taken from the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite a wife, and is called by their name.

¹ And all the people are gathered as one man unto the broad place that [is] before the water-gate, and they say to Ezra the scribe to bring the book of the law of Moses, that Yahweh commanded Israel.

³ and he reads in it before the broad place that [is] before the water-gate, from the light till the middle of the day, over-against the men, and the women, and those intelligent, and the ears of all the people [are] unto the book of the law. ⁴ And Ezra the scribe stands on a tower of wood that they made for the purpose, and Mattithiah stands near him, and Shema, and Anaiah, and Urijah, and Hilkiah, and Maaseiah, on his right; and on his left Pedaiah, and Mishael, and Malchijah, and Hashum, and Hashbaddana, Zechariah, Meshullam.

⁷ And Jeshua, and Bani, and Sherebiah, Jamin, Akkub, Shabbethai, Hodijah, Maaseiah, Kelita, Azariah, Jozabad, Hanan, Pelaiah, and the Levites, giving the people understanding in the law, and the people, [are] on their station,

¹⁶ And the people go out, and bring in, and make for themselves booths, each on his roof, and in their courts, and in the courts of the house of Elohim, and in the broad place of the water-gate, and in the broad place of the gate of Ephraim.

² Seraiah, Azariah, Jeremiah,

⁴ Huttush, Shebaniah, Malluch, ⁵ Harim, Meremoth, Obadiah,

⁷ Meshullam, Abijah, Mijamin,

⁹ And the Levites:both Jeshua son of Azaniah, Binnui of the sons of Henadad, Kadmiel;"

¹² Zaccur, Sherebiah, Shebaniah,

¹⁴ Heads of the people:Parosh, Pahath-Moab, Elam, Zatthu, Bani, ¹⁵ Bunni, Azgad, Bebai,

²⁸ And the rest of the people, the priests, the Levites, the gatekeepers, the singers, the Nethinim, and every one who has been separated from the peoples of the lands unto the law of Elohim, their wives, their sons, and their daughters, every knowing intelligent one,

²¹ and the Nethinim are dwelling in Ophel, and Ziha and Gishpa [are] over the Nethinim.

³⁰ Zanoah, Adullam, and their villages, Lachish and its fields, Azekah and its small towns; and they encamp from Beer-Sheba unto the valley of Hinnom.

⁸ And the Levites [are] Jeshua, Binnui, Kadmiel, Sherebiah, Judah, Mattaniah, he [is] over the thanksgiving, and his brethren,

¹⁰ And Jeshua has begotten Joiakim, and Joiakim has begotten Eliashib, and Eliashib has begotten Joiada,

²² The Levites, in the days of Eliashib, Joiada, and Johanan, and Jaddua, are written, heads of fathers, and of the priests, in the kingdom of Darius the Persian. ²³ Sons of Levi, heads of the fathers, are written on the book of the Chronicles even till the days of Johanan son of Eliashib;"

²⁸ and sons of the singers are gathered together even from the circuit round about Jerusalem, and from the villages of Netophathi,

³⁰ and the priests and the Levites are cleansed, and they cleanse the people, and the gates, and the wall. ³¹ And I bring up the heads of Judah upon the wall, and appoint two great thanksgiving companies and processions. At the right, on the wall, to the dung-gate;"

³⁷ and by the gate of the fountain and over-against them, they have gone up by the steps of the city of David, at the going up of the wall beyond the house of David, and unto the water-gate eastward. ³⁸ And the second thanksgiving company that is going over-against, and I after it, and half of the people on the wall from beyond the tower of the furnaces and unto the broad wall, ³⁹ and from beyond the gate of Ephraim, and by the old-gate, and by the fish-gate, and the tower of Hananeel, and the tower of Meah, and unto the sheep-gate--and they have stood at the prison-gate.

⁴ And before this Eliashib the priest, appointed over chambers of the house of our Elohim, [is] a relation of Tobiah,

²⁸ And [one] of the sons of Joiada son of Eliashib the high priest, [is] son-in-law to Sanballat the Horonite, and I cause him to flee from off me.

¹ {A Psalm{ {Dedication Song of the House{ {Davidic{ I am exalting You, O Yahweh, for You have drawn me out, And You have not let my enemies rejoice over me."

⁶ In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He Himself shall straighten your paths."

⁹ Glorify Yahweh with your wealth And with the firstfruits of all your income;

¹⁰ All that your hand finds to do, do with your vigor, For there is no doing or devising or knowledge or wisdom In the unseen where you are going."

¹ As dead gadflies cause a compound of oil to stink, to bubble forth, So a little frivolity outweighs wisdom and glory."

⁷ Behold, his couch, that which is Solomon's! Sixty masterful men surround it, From the masterful men of Israel,

³ And Yahweh is saying to Isaiah, "Fare forth, pray, to meet Ahaz, you and Shear-Jashub, your son, to the end of the trench of the uppermost reservoir, to the highway of the field of the launderer."

⁶ Forasmuch as this people reject the waters of Shiloah which are going carefully, and are elated over Rezin and Remaliah's son,

¹¹ And a confluence will you make for yourselves between the two walls. For the water of the storage reservoir. Yet you do not look to its Maker from the beginning, and its Former from afar you do not see."

⁶ Squanderers of gold from a purse, and silver, with reed scales will they weigh. They will hire a refiner and he will make of it an el. And they will fall on their knees and face. Indeed, they will worship!"

⁴ And I--I said, `Surely these [are] poor, They have been foolish, For they have not known the way of Yahweh, The judgment of their Elohim." ⁵ I get me to the great, and I speak with them, For they have known the way of Yahweh, The judgment of their Elohim.' Surely they together have broken the yoke, They have drawn away the bands."

¹ Strengthen yourselves, sons of Benjamin, From the midst of Jerusalem, And in Tekoa blow you a trumpet, And over Beth-Haccerem lift you up a flame, For evil has been seen from the north, And great destruction."

² and you have gone forth unto the valley of the son of Hinnom, that [is] at the opening of the gate of the pottery, and have proclaimed there the words that I speak unto you,

¹⁴ Who is saying, `I build for myself a large house, And airy upper chambers,' And he has cut out for himself its windows, Ceiled with cedar, and painted with vermilion."

² `Thus said Yahweh unto me, Make to you bands and yokes,

⁸ And it has come to pass, the nation and the kingdom that do not serve him--Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon--and that which puts not its neck into the yoke of the king of Babylon, with sword, and with famine, and with pestilence, I lay a charge on that nation--an affirmation of Yahweh--till I consume them by his hand."

¹² And unto Zedekiah king of Judah I have spoken according to all these words, saying, `Cause your necks to enter into the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him and his people, and live."

⁸ And it has come to pass, in that day, An affirmation of Yahweh of Hosts, I break his yoke from off your neck, And your bands I draw away, And lay no more service on him do strangers." ⁹ And they have served Yahweh their Elohim, And David their king whom I raise up to them."

³⁸ Lo, days [are coming], an affirmation of Yahweh, And the city has been built to Yahweh, From the tower of Hananeel to the gate of the corner."

⁴⁰ And all the valley of the carcases and of the ashes, And all the fields unto the brook Kidron, Unto the corner of the horse-gate eastward, [Are] holy to Yahweh, it is not plucked up, Nor is it thrown down any more to the eon!"

² And then the forces of the king of Babylon are laying siege against Jerusalem, and Jeremiah the prophet has been shut up in the court of the prison that [is] in the house of the king of Judah,

¹ And there is a word of Yahweh unto Jeremiah a second time--and he [is] yet detained in the court of the prison--saying:

²¹ And the king Zedekiah commands, and they commit Jeremiah into the court of the prison, also to give to him a cake of bread daily from the bakers' street, till the consumption of all the bread of the city, and Jeremiah dwells in the court of the prison."

⁸ And the house of the king, and the house of the people, have the Chaldeans burnt with fire, and the walls of Jerusalem they have broken down."

¹⁴ yea, they send and take Jeremiah out of the court of the prison, and give him unto Gedaliah son of Ahikam, son of Shaphan, to carry him home, and he dwells in the midst of the people." ¹⁵ And unto Jeremiah has a word of Yahweh been--in his being detained in the court of the prison--saying:

⁶ and Jeremiah comes in unto Gedaliah son of Ahikam, to Mizpah, and dwells with him, in the midst of the people who are left in the land."

¹ The words of Amos, who came to be among the herdsmen from Tekoa, which he perceives concerning Israel in the days of Uzziah, king of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam, son of Joash, king of Israel, two years before the earthquake."

¹⁰ There comes in that day, (averring is Yahweh), a sound of a cry from the fish gate, and a howling from the second quarter, and a great breaking from the hills:"

¹⁰ All the land shall be round about as the gorge from Geba to Rimmon, as the south rim of Jerusalem. Yet it is high, and under itself it shall be indwelt from the gate of Benjamin unto the place of the first gate, unto the gate of the corners and from the tower of Hananeel, unto the king's wine vats."

²⁹ Lift My yoke upon you and be learning from Me, for meek am I and humble in heart, and you shall be finding rest in your souls,

⁴ Or those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam falls and kills them, are you supposing that they came to be debtors beyond all the men dwelling in Jerusalem?

² Now there is, in Jerusalem, at the sheep gate, a pool, which is termed, in Hebrew, "Bethesda,having five porticos."

⁷ and said to him, "Go, wash in the pool of Siloam(which is being translated "Commissioned"). He came away, then, and washes, and came, observing. "

²⁹ Men! Brethren! Allow me to say to you with boldness concerning the patriarch David, that he deceases also and was entombed, and his tomb is among us until this day."

¹⁰ Why, then, are you now trying God, by placing a yoke on the neck of the disciples which neither our fathers nor we are strong enough to bear?

⁸ Now, on the morrow, coming away, we came to Caesarea, and, entering into the house of Philip the evangelist, who is of the seven, we remain with him." ⁹ Now there were four daughters of this man, virgins, prophesying."

¹¹ in diligence not slothful, fervent in spirit, slaving for the Lord,

²⁶ For you are observing your calling, brethren, that there are not many wise according to the flesh; not many powerful, not many noble,

³ Yes, I am asking you also, genuine yokefellow, be aiding them, these women who compete together with me in the evangel, with Clement also, and the rest of my fellow workers whose names are in the scroll of life."

¹⁷ Those who are rich in the current eon be charging not to be haughty, nor yet to rely on the dubiousness of riches, but on God, Who is tendering us all things richly for our enjoyment;" ¹⁸ to be doing good acts, to be rich in ideal acts, to be liberal contributors,
