¹⁹ Now He, answering, is saying to them, "O unbelieving generation! Till when shall I be with you? Till when shall I be with you? Bring him to Me."

¹¹ Yahweh said to Moses:How long shall this people spurn Me? And how long shall they not believe in Me despite all the signs which I have done among them?

²² all the men who were seeing My glory and My signs which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, who probed Me these ten times and they did not hearken to My voice,

²⁷ How long shall I bear with this evil congregation, they who are grumbling against Me? I have heard the grumblings of the sons of Israel which they are grumbling against Me.

¹³ The anger of Yahweh grew hot against Israel, and He caused them to rove about in the wilderness forty years until the whole generation doing evil in the eyes of Yahweh came to end. ¹⁴ And behold, you have risen in your fathers' stead as a vast brood of sinful men to be swept up again on account of the heat of Yahweh's anger toward Israel!"

²⁰ And he said:Let Me conceal My face from them; I shall examine what their latter days are to be. For they are a wayward generation, sons with no faithfulness in them.

⁶ That the next generation may know, The sons who shall be born; They shall rise and recount them to their sons." ⁷ Thus they shall place their confidence in Elohim, And they shall not forget all the activity of El, And His instructions shall they preserve." ⁸ Then they shall not become like their fathers, A generation stubborn and rebellious, A generation that had neither established its heart, Nor was its spirit faithful to El."

²² For they did not believe in Elohim, And they did not trust in His salvation."

²¹ They forgot the El Who was saving them, Who was doing great deeds in Egypt, ²² Marvelous works in the country of Ham, Fear inspiring deeds by the Sea of Weeds." ²³ He said that He would exterminate them, Except that Moses, His chosen one, Stood in the breach before Him, To turn back His fury from bringing ruin on them." ²⁴ Then they rejected the coveted land; They did not believe His word, ²⁵ And they murmured in their tents; They did not hearken to the voice of Yahweh.

¹⁷ Now then answering, Jesus said to them, "O generation unbelieving and perverse! Till when shall I be with you? Till when shall I bear with you? Bring him here to Me."

¹⁴ Now subsequently, at their lying back at table, He was manifested to the eleven, and He reproaches their unbelief and hardheartedness, seeing that they do not believe those who gaze on Him having been roused from among the dead."

⁴¹ Now, answering, Jesus said, "O generation unbelieving and perverse! Till when shall I be with you and bear with you? Lead your son here to Me."

²⁵ And He said to them, "O foolish and tardy of heart to be believing on all which the prophets speak!"

²⁷ Now is My soul disturbed. And what may I be saying? 'Father, save Me out of this hour'?

²⁷ Thereafter He is saying to Thomas, "Bring you finger here and perceive My hands, and bring your hand and thrust it into My side, and do not become unbelieving, but believing."

¹⁰ Wherefore, "I am disgusted with this generation, and said, 'Ever are they straying in heart; Yet they know not My ways.'" ¹¹ As I swear in My indignation, 'If they shall be entering into My stopping-!'" ¹² Beware, brethren, lest at some time there shall be in any one of you a wicked heart of unbelief, in withdrawing from the living God."
