⁶ And all the masters of Shechem are gathered together, and all the house of Millo, and come and cause Abimelech to reign for king at the oak of the camp which [is] in Shechem;"

²⁶ And Joshua writes these words in the Book of the Law of Elohim, and takes a great stone, and raises it up there under the oak which [is] in the sanctuary of Yahweh.

⁹ And David dwells in the fortress, and calls it--City of David, and David builds round about, from Millo and inward,

¹ And Rehoboam goes to Shechem, for to Shechem has all Israel come to make him king.

²⁰ And it comes to pass, at all Israel's hearing that Jeroboam has returned, that they send and call him unto the company, and cause him to reign over all Israel; none has been after the house of David save the tribe of Judah alone.

²⁵ And Jeroboam builds Shechem in the hill-country of Ephraim, and dwells in it, and goes out thence, and builds Penuel;"

²⁰ And his servants rise, and make a conspiracy, and smite Joash in the house of Millo, that is going down to Silla.
